Will nodded absently as Faleen mentioned the attack from months ago. That was definitely something he had heard about. But it seemed that's not all that Team Galactic had planned and this caused Will to frown deeply while the Growlithe wiggled in his arms, deciding that she wanted to be let down now. Which the man obliged by letting her jump to the floor.
The fire puppy sniffed around a bit, before sitting next to Will's feet in a loyal manner with ears up. She was a good dog, yes she was.
Will folded his arms and sighed, for this certainly wasn't good news he was hearing. "What do the higher ups plan to do about it?" He asked, knowing that she might not even know that answer, but decided to put it out there anyway.

She kept the same troubled, thoughtful expression on her face, her own arms folding over her chest.
With a small shake of her head when Will asked what the higher ups were doing she replied "I'm not sure about details, from what I've heard they've got rockets keeping a close eyes for what Galactic might be up to in Kodo. I've yet to hear much more,"
She hoped she would, "It would be amazing if we got enough to get a counter strike in the works next time they stuck their noise in Rocket business."
She knew that the robotics division was working on stronger and more powerful defenses for around the base, and what she had seen from plans and helping in the construction of some of the robots, it was an incredible project... but to actually go on the offense and make robots like that... she knew Rocket likely had something like that, but being a grunt she certainly wasn't aware of it.
Faleen took notice of the Growlithe, and how... well behaved she was being next to Will.
"She hasn't been able to get out much since I caught her, their are parks outside the city." Faleen offered.

"Hmm," Will hummed thoughtfully. It wasn't too surprising that Faleen didn't know anything about their next moves against Galactic. Still, it left him wondering. A rivalry between Team Rocket and Galactic would certainly cause some issues that would need to be addressed. Whatever the higher ups decided to do, he was sure they would hear of it eventually. "I suppose we'll have to see what happens."
Looking down at the Growlithe as she commented about parks though, Will's grin returned. "If she continues behaving like this, I'll be sure to take her out often. I think I'll name her Kobashi."

Nodding in agreement, knowing that the HQ was going to be pretty... interesting while everything is worked out. This big of news with Galactic was jarring to the entire organization.
"I just want to find out how they keep turning up, the last two mission."
onto a much better subject, Faleen also glanced down at Growlithe, she had being.. a very good girl.
"She is very well behaved, I'm interested to hear how she does in battle, taking orders from you"
When Will decided on a name for her, Faleen glanced back up at him, head tilted slightly "Kobashi" she repeated "does it have a meaning?"

Will nodded quietly, he wanted to know how they managed to show up at two missions in a row, also.
"We'll see," Will said with a chuckle, having a feeling that she wouldn't give him nearly as much trouble in battle as Azrael if any at all. "Eh... well it does... sort of, but not really." He told Faleen sheepishly. "Ever seen those dog-like statues that sit in front of asian temples? The Japanese call them Kobainu, and the Chinese Kora-shishi. I just kinda combined the two. Didn't really think one or the other by itself quite fit her." It was entirely possible that the Kobainu were modeled after Arcanine.

While he talked, she unfolded her arms, slipping them back into her pockets,
despite her casual posture and clothing, she politely listened, keeping eye contact with him until he was finished with his explanation.
she them smiled, lowering her gaze to the Growlithe
"I see how that fits, Kobashi" she repeated again.
It wasn't a new fact to her that people named their pokemon, it used to confuse her, but now she learned to expect it.

"Thanks, I thought so too."
Knowing that she was being talked about, Kobashi wagged her tail happily, her tongue lolling out of her mouth.
"I noticed you don't actually give your Pokemon nicknames. I know some people don't do that, but I wondered why you didn't?"

"Oh?" His question drew a soft questioning noise of her own, he was the only one who had asked her that question, so she didn't answer it right away,
"Well..." she paused to give it a thoughtful consideration, lifting a hand up to place her hand over her chin and mouth, glancing down at Umbreon as she did this.
"I guess I just feel like that is their name, they don't need any other one then what they have" she answered, gesturing a hand out as of to offer him that answer.
Though it was here she hesitated.
"... Well" she continued, thinking over her answer again.
"My life before Team Rocket, I had little to nothing to do with pokemon, and when I joined, I certainly had the mind set that Pokemon were simply tools and nothing else, so I didn't really feel the need to be naming my tools..." she paused again "Even though a few of my actual tools have names" This made her blink in realization.
"Anyway, I didn't think I would get attached."

Again Will bobbed his head in a slow nod as he listened to Faleen's explanation. It made some sense, but judging from her words and tone, it seemed that her opinions and feelings on Pokemon were perhaps changing.
"Have you gotten attached?" The way she said it made it sound like that perhaps she was. Although Will had to smirk a little when Faleen had confessed she named her tools. It made more sense to Will to name actual living creatures than cold, hard mechanical tools.

His question provoked another moments consideration on the female grunt's part.
For a moment her form swayed from one boot to the other, quietly glancing down at the Umbreon sitting next to her.
"I..." she started, uncertainly at first, but finished with much more confidence.
"Yeah, Yeah I suppose I have" Faleen admitted this as if it was really yhr first time she had even considered it for herself, she seemed a little taken aback by it.
"I'm still a Rocket first and foremost, and I expect my pokemon to carry out their duties"
the way she would, in dangerous situation, or even potentially deadly.
"regardless of how I feel about them"
She had never been the type to return her pokemon just becasue she was scared they would get hurt, if they were out, they were there till the end. Expectantly, till they win.
she lifted her shoulder a little, not enough to strain the stitches on her back, and chuckled softly.
"I've never admitted that before" she realized, with a soft shrug"
The Umbreon sitting next to her twitched his ears, glancing up at his master as she spoke.
He knew it of course, he always did, she didn't need to say the words for him to just know. It was his master, it was his job to be able to read her.

Will listened, a smile spreading across his face as Faleen gave her admission.
"There's nothing wrong with that. Even if Pokemon are considered tools, they are living and breathing tools. You and your group of Pokemon are a team, just as everyone in Team Rocket is a team. You have to work together."
The red headed grunt gave Faleen a shrug as well.
"Anyway... what did you feel like doing today? That sushi place you took me to last time was great. Know any other interesting places in town?" After all, she had grown up in Camphoreon while Will was still relatively new to it.

When Will said that, Faleen glanced back down at Umbreon, blinking a couple of times before chuckling herself and patting the moonlight pokemon's head.
Will was right, completely right.
At his next question Faleen turned back to him. "I do" she said, pausing for a moment to consider where they could go.
This is where she took a little longer to consider... for her own reasons she didn't particularly enjoy the idea of going into certain arias of the city... a lot of the most interesting things were in those parts however.
She didn't just want to say no though, it was only one day... as long as she was careful things would be fine.
"Well, I know where pretty much all the Robotics clubs, museums and warehouses are in the City, but that would probably not be very interesting for you" she admitted with a grin. "Though to be honest, I'm already getting pretty sore, if you wouldn't mind, maybe we could stop at a cafe for a bit, I know some good ones."

His smile turned sympathetic as she mentioned being sore. He also had to chuckle in amusement at the fact that she knew where all the robotics joints were. That figured, considering her interests, although Will would likely be woefully lost in such places. Not that he didn't mind learning more about Faleen's profession... or wouldn't agree to go to a place like that. He would just be completely clueless.
"That's fine with me. I'll even drive this time if you want, you should be taking it easy. Just tell me where to go."
Faleen had driven all the way here, and would have to drive back. Might as well give her a break.

"Normally I might insist on driving, but I think today, I will graciously accept your offer" She pulled the keys out of her pocket, handing them out to him.
She had just parked a couple of blocks away, an easy walk.
She loved driving and being in control of the machine, but her hands were still healing, and having to steer didn't help their condition.
"Thanks Will" she said to the older grunt.
"There is also a park not to far from the cafe I have in mind, if you want to let Kobashi run around a bit later. I bet she could use it"

Will took the keys as they were handed to him. "No problem, I figured you could use a break." There was the sound of jingling metal as he tossed the keys into the air and caught them with one hand.
"Sounds like a plan, shall we?" He asked, giving a 'ladies first' motion with his hand. She would have to lead the way to the parked car after all.
