I would never take yaz. the new hormone they use in that causes a ton of health problems. My friend was taking yaz until last month and she ended up with four blood clots in her lungs because of it. She's only 20.

Yeah I was reading that and just came to warn you maybe to ask your doctor to switch birth control.
I've heard nothing but bad things about Yaz, tons of blood clotting, girls who have only been on it for a few weeks and have died from it.
I've even seen infomercials about laywers who are like
HAVE YOU TAKEN YAZ AND EXPERIENCED BLOOD CLOTTING AND BLAHBLAHB LAH IF SO ...
you know, like you can make a case out of it.
So yeah dude, I would see if she could get you on something else.

Yeah my friend is part of a lawsuit right now because of it. They actually renamed it to Beyaz I think just because it had such a bad rep, but it deserves that rep.

i took yaz for almost a year and i didn't have any problems with it.
i'll probably go back on it now that daniel's around -__-
but uhhh it's never hurt for me

I was poking around on the internet.
The reason why Yaz is getting the most hype is because its the number one birth control. But in reality, all birth controls have the same percentage of problems as that.
Like, my sister has been on Yaz for about 2-3 years?
I don't want to deal with PMDD anymore. neutral

The reason it's causing problems is because it has another hormone (I don't feel like googling which one) that other birth controls don't have, that increases potassium and causes blood clots in some patients.

Mmhm, I had read that too. But it is also a lower dosage as other birth controls.

Yaz is actually a common BCP used in inducing lactation. But we tell moms not to use it if they are prone to clotting.

i'm pretty sure all birth control pills increase your chances of forming blood clots. that's why they check your blood pressure every time you get a new prescription.

a moon full of stars besides which penises don't open out into some sort of probing monstrosity Getting a scrape or biopsy can hurt like hell. Gives you waves of cramps. It's awful. The rest is generally just discomfort and "lady up in my biz" weirdness. I can't do guys up in my biz. Did that the first time and I felt so heebie jeebie about it. I used to have to get a biopsy every six months because I had precancerous tissue samples my first time. D;
