The Hobo Stripper Well, they actually won't let us dress in the bathrooms. Stupid, huh? And, I am not allowed to wear undershirts. My dad says it is a waste of laundry. -sigh-
And wearing my Gym clothes under if not really an option. 1) It is way to hot over here, 2) I wear those kind-of-but-not-really skinny jeans, so it would be obvious with the super baggy shorts we have to wear.
And you say that weight/size does not matter, but... I dunno. I have had only 3 boy friends, and I am constantly being called fat at home, and all the skinny girls at my school are popular and the guys love em. >< I hope you realize I live in hawaii where not only is it hot but it's humid as ********. Anyway if you don't wanna change and you don't wanna wear your clothes to school, you could try what my uncle did and not get dressed for gym. But his situation was a funny one. He never wore his gym clothes a single day in the year and when it came to the final gym test (which was a 2-mile run I believe), the coach told him that he'll give him an A if he can outrun the rest of the class. Sure enough he did in a T-shirt, shorts, and slippers but unless you're that physically fit, I wouldn't bank on it.

elyzia Why not change in one of the bathroom stalls? She said they won't let them change in the bathroom, dumb huh? I'd suggest just not worrying about what others think. I've personally had around 5 girlfriends and I'm 17. It's not that I'm ugly or anything I just choose not to be in a relationship. xd Besides, some of them bring so much drama and it's just annoying. sweatdrop

You are in your frist year of middle school and you are complaining about having only had three boyfriends? I haven't had a single girl friend until idk... I never really know when I am in a realtionship... But maybe 8th grade
To adress your question, they can't force you to not change in the stalls. At my old school, they said the same thing and people still did it...

and do you have any idea how long it takes for those "skinny girls" to get like that?
A few of them were born skinny but most of the other girls just dont eat at all! I dunno about you, but id rather be eating than doing 100 pushups all day and eating tiny nutrition bars for dinner everyday
And lemme tell you something, its all about the attitude that will make people like you ;D
As for gym clothes, just change really fast or distract yourself by talking to someone.

DUDE!! I feel your pain. Last year, I moved to California from New Hampshire and started in seventh grade. The school I go to, they've already been dressing out for a year, maybe more, so all that awkwardness is gone for them. Not. Me.
No. Me? I got dressed in the bathrooms the first half of the year. And then the bathrooms flooded.
No more bathrooms for changing in.
I was SO SCARED. I started CRYING. In front of EVERYONE. The teacher LAUGHED at me. LAUGHED. I felt like punching her in the face -.-
BESIDES THE POINT
Yeah. She let me into the bathrooms eventually.
The next day I wore a tank top and changed UBER SUPER DUPER fast. AND made sure I was one of the first in the locker room. It made me feel a tad better.
And it went on like that. Now I wear a tank top everyday, which isn't bad, and I can change in front of people.
BUT TRUST ME
it's not that bad. You think they're thinking/talking about you?
They're not. Please. They got better things to talk about.
Please, I felt like that too.
I AM fat
and I AM ugly
and everyone else in my row is size three jeans and a small shirt.
Me? I'm size ELEVEN jean (used to be 16) and an EXTRA LARGE shirt.
It's not that bad.
Especially when everyone else in my row is perverted and hilarious and totally open xD
Anyways.

No one's going to judge.

Can I just punch humanity in the face? Please? Just once? I swear, it wont hurt... (ok maybe a little...a lot....epicly....)
There will come a time when you'll learn how to just shut 'em all out. If they make comments, they make comments. Just take it and don't dwell on it. Chances are, within minutes you'll forget about the stupidity that spews from their mouths. I'm saying this from experience. I was bullied all through elementary school. By middle school, I had learned all this. By high school, I had my group(s) of friends and all the "bullies" were just stupid people who had no lives and were more than likely destroying their lives.
One more thing, if you don't HEAR them saying anything, then what's the problem? Don't stress yourself over something that hasn't happened.

Thats funny, I assumed you were a guy this whole time.
Well, as a guy, its kind of different but I imagine the same idea apply. Just look straight ahead, and get changed as fast as possible. If you're there with friends talking, than don't worry about any body else cause you're surrounded by a friendly atmosphere.
In the end, none of those people matter anyway, they're just lives and didn't do anything more to get here that you didnt do.

The girls can smell your fear of them judging you, so just don't care. That's how I felt my freshman year (although, to be frank, the only fat I got is around my butt and no one likes to stare at that); and the more cumbersome you act around them the more likely they're going to notice you. If you must, have a locker by a corner or somewhere where you can turn away. For example, after track when I'm changing and I don't want to accidentally flash a girl--changing from skin-conforming clothes to more flowing clothes can be tricky--I turn, say, my butt towards the opening of my locker so the girls can only see my front side.
As an extra fyi kinda thing, there's a girl on the team who is a bit big and legit takes her bra off and exposes herself while getting on her sports bra. She doesn't seem uncomfortable when someone has to go down my those lockers, and the other girls and I just look the other way. It's a bit weird for us, but it shows she's pretty comfortable with herself.
So hold your head high and you'll be fine. And if you hear a girl make a snide remark, just reply that at least you've got curves! ;D
