"Bold words," Joto commented, giving Jugnu a smirk.
He liked the strength not only in her words but her resolve. This was her home and she was determined to keep to her home. He hadn't seen someone so dedicated since the death of his mother. Not even his prior mates was so bold in her wording by denying outside options and sticking to home. He couldn't help but internally admit that it was rather appealing, even if she was much younger than he.
"They're refreshing words, admittedly," Joto said, clearing his throat a little.
"I have to be heading to a meeting with the rest of the council shortly," Joto explained, a little stiff in his words. He wasn't used to inviting a woman along with him, and he wasn't going to openly admit that he missed that sort of company, but he didn't want this conversation to end just yet.
"If you've got some time, Jugnu, I would like to continue this conversation on the way. If you're interested, well, you are free to stroll along with me," He said, clearing his throat again. Man this was not an easy task was it? "If not, well, it was a pleasure to have such a refreshing conversation with you and I do hope to see you around."
And with those words and a bow of his head to the white and green lioness, Joto began his walk towards Council, hoping to hear pitter-pattering feet behind him.
