Gabrian was still looking at Ren idly, calmly, "Yes well," he drawled out the words as his gaze traveled down his body and then back, "I don't buy that at all. It's not so much the mystery as the fact it's unexpected... I doubt you're mysterious, don't flatter yourself," he paused almost as soon as he'd said those words though, frowning slightly, "Besides..." his hand reached up to scratch the scareon's chin, "I find mysterious to be way too over evaluated. I'm not mysterious. I just don't like people, for the most part, so I keep to myself. But... not mysterious," a snort was released as he rolled his eyes, almost as if he felt this was a particularly silly notion, "Mystery gives rise to misunderstanding."
His gaze flew back to the demon dorm room, and mid stroke, the scareon wiggled free out of his grasp and bounced to the floor, sauntering several steps towards the building before mewling at her owner. She personally wanted to be feed and then, possibly coddled, or groomed, she wasn't sure. She'd find out later once she got back home. A sigh escaped the demon as he crouched down on the floor, passing a hand over the creature's back, "Fickle beast," of course, it was around then that Ren decided to fly down, which still meant Gabrian had to look up at him, due to his current position, "You'd be surprised how many people lack a brain to mouth filter," he waited in that position until he spot just a moment further before he pushed himself up to his feet.
Having the other boil lean in was probably not what he'd been expecting, if the way he leaned away was any indication. He didn't look upset or disgusted, just merely... confused, "Ladies..." he let out another sigh, followed by a mild wave of his hand. Now, he liked ghouls just as much as the next boil, but at the same time, he wasn't sure he wanted to tread that ground just yet. Specially not without knowing he wouldn't make a fool of himself.
When he finally looked at the other boil (having taken a step back to do so), Gabrian arched a brow, "Hmmm... maybe you're reading too much into it, actually. I think you were headed the right way when you said I was simply someone that liked music, peace and quiet over the company I've been getting in the dorms," he crouched down again, this time to pick up his pet, whom was busy bitting and tugging at his boot and... the tip of his tail actually, "That wasn't a compliment," he drawled, "Not yet. I rather reserve the compliments for later," picking up the pet, he gave the gryphon one last, narrowed eyed look before turning around to leave. He paused before entering the dorm though, "I think the question here is... do you care to find out if two interesting, but relatively different people can mix? I usually come out at the same time every day to play music," and that said, he turned around and left. It was as close to an invitation as Ren was going to get.

Ren grinned. "Unexpected is good," he said, reaching up and tugging on the braid in his hair. "I'd rather be unexpected than expected. Being dull and predictable is boring anyhow." He shrugged, giving an airy wave of his hand, the other resting on his hip. "People are overrated. No problem with not liking people. It just means you lose out on certain aspects of life. In my opinion, anyway."
Ren grinned. "Don't worry," he answered. "I have met several of these people who lack a brain to mouth filter. I may even be one myself. However," he added, lifting his hands in a gesture of mock innocence. "I myself am a self-proclaimed obnoxious brat, so I have an excuse."
His little leaning in gesture was most likely unwelcome, considering the way the other leaned back a few inches, but Ren was not particularly bothered. He had a habit of getting into people's personal spaces, and really saw no issues with it. Unless, of course, the other was uncomfortable, and then he would respect it. But Gabrian did not seem bothered; more wary, rather than upset at the closeness.
"It wasn't?" Ren said cheekily, lifting a brow. "It sure sounded like a compliment to me, though maybe I wasn't listening as closely as I should have been."
Gabrian had turned now, stepping back towards the dorms. Ren watched his back for a few seconds, slipping his hands into his pockets. Interesting, he thought to himself, golden eyes following the footsteps in the grass. How very...different...this one is from how I thought he would be. What happened to the cocky, confident demon I thought I saw on that train..?
Ren began making his way back towards the monster dorms, Rhys still clinging to his shoulders. With a quick flap of his wings, he propelled himself into the air, soaring upwards, over the treetops, heading to Amityville.
He smiled.
"See you tomorrow, Sir Snake~"
