Here it was - finally a class that Ren had actually deemed to be worthy of attending - willingly. Minipet Training.

Oh, yes, he could definitely use this one.

Ambling into the classroom - or rather, forcibly dragging Rhys and Takashiro in on their leashes (hadn't he decided to never take more than one out again?) - Ren stopped when he saw the shoe sign. Giving a noncommittal shrug, he stepped out of his sneakers, pushing them haphazardly to the side, and casting a curious glance over to the students sitting (hiding?) behind the barrier and shrugged again. Strange...

Glancing around the room, Ren debated on sitting off by himself, so he could nap, but this was a class he thought might be relatively useful, so instead he made his way over to a seat next to a familiar brunette. Flopping into the chair, he pulled Rhys and Takahshiro (with a bit of complaining from both) and said "Hey Alessa, what's up?"

Barth was almost always up for minipet classes, even though the maze in Creature Feature was a fiaso he was ...reluctant to repeat. This classroom did not look like a horrible maze, just looked comfy. It was warm, with seating on the floor.

Some of the students had even built a shelf-fort.

He took off his boots slowly, removing one of the skull pins and clipping it to the back of his glove instead, then depositing them.. next to the shoe rack. The shoe rack itself was kind of high. Then he dug the minipet he brought, a burning blob, out of his pocket in several goopy handfulls. It coagulated on the floor, then, at a snail's pace, inched towards a seat.

It still outpaced its master.

Barth ended up next to West. His claw was still a little gunky. The blob wobbled affectionately near West's boots (or possibly was just trying to digest them).

Take off her shoes? She tilted her head slightly, wondering just why they were supposed to do that. She hadn't had to take off her shoes in any other classes. But then again, there hadn't been campfires in the center of any other classes either. A little reluctantly, she took off her sboots and moved towards the circle of stools.

She didn't notice who she was sitting next to until she had already sat down. She didn't know the guy, but he looked like a demon. She had nothing against demons, but she wondered if he'd have something against reapers. It was too late to move now; plus, she couldn't be bothered.

Ithilethiel hadn't meant to end up sitting where she had. She hadn't really been paying attention, her eyes were fixed on the flames of the campfire at the center. She wasn't afraid of fire, though she'd not want to get much closer than she had to.

Though now as she gazed across the room, she realized she must have been subconsciously avoiding the girls that sat opposite the seat she was now seated in. She had nothing against other girls, but found herself avoiding groups of them without realizing at times.

Her raven, Nekyia, was absent as of now, and had Ithi not brought her minipets with her, she would have felt quite lonely.

Aedan made his way carefully into the classroom--this was his first class-attendance since enrollment, and he couldn't help but wonder just what to expect. Reading the corkboard, he blinked, not quite sure what to make of it. Take off his shoes...?

With a shrug, he removed his shoes (one-handed) and placed them into the shoe rack, before making his way over to the sign up sheet. He held Crystalis (although he usually shortened it to Tal, when referring to the minipet) loosely tucked under one arm, making things a bit more awkward. After scrawling his name onto a stool, Aedan made his way over to the fire, taking his seat (a few empty seats sat between him and the next nearest student) and eyeing the flames moodily. While the fire provided warmth, he was rather hoping that this class wouldn't involve it to any large extent--after all, he wanted to do well in this...and excercises that included him and flames tended to go awry.

However, this was supposed to be a minipet training class, so maybe it would work out alright--and when it came to Tal, he could use all the help he could get. It wasn't so much that Tal was a terror, but more that he operated on his own schedule.

Cyrilla was late behind the two boils, again. One of these days she was just going to get one of them to attach a rope to her arm to keep her from the distractions that were the random bobbles she'd collect while heading off to meeting places.

Today it was time for a new class. As she entered the classroom, she noticed the campfire, and wrinkled her nose. The sign telling her no shoes was no issue... the ghoul didn't wear shoes.

But.. where were the boils? "Aymet? Merope? " she called out as she wandered into the room before finally noticing the shoe rack and several heads peering out from behind it.

... well then.

The dracolich scooted in next to Merope and peered out across towards the campire and the other students.

"Hey guys... who's bright idea was this?" the dracolich ghoul grinned and Star, one of her fafnir, lifted his head from his perch on her shoulder, eyed the familiar boils, then listlessly placed his head back down.

Carthusia trotted out to where Professor Malcolm had indicated on the Ickycom. Her minipets (well, the one she kept with her at all times) were fairly well behaved, but Amethyst was a diva of epic proportions. She would rather do what she wanted and back-talk rather than follow any sets of elaborate commands. Sighing, she knew other people would have the same issue to some extent. Amethyst was perched on her shoulder as she took off her shoes.

Ah, look, there're two of her favorite men.

Pride took her seat next to Wrath and Sloth, nudging West with her shoulder. She smiled at him. It had been too long since they last ran into each other! Amethyst, of course, was interested in his hair, and tried to nest in it. She squawked every time he tried to move. Carry attempted to shoo her down.

"Jack dammit, Ame, get down or he'll roast you like a chicken nugget!" That was probably very, very true.

Riley walked into class looking a little frazzled. She had her Cthulhu fully secured with a body harness, and the pet was, surprisingly, walking beside her without a fuss. It was also cringing painfully. This was because Riley was emitting a high frequency sound directly into it's brain that was keeping it from acting up just yet. Unfortunately, as soon as Riley needed to speak, she would have to stop emitting the sound, and Cthulhu was waiting for that moment.

It waited for it's revenge.

She sat down in a seat, nodding to her fellow seat-mates and the others in the class that she knew - although she couldn't greet them verbally. No, she would wait until it was absolutely required to talk.

The Cthulhu sat at her feet, whining softly. It's big pet Mindflayer was going to rue the day it heralded this insubordination.

"Oh, hey Ren!" Alessa said cheerfully as the familiar boil sat down next to her. She offered him a smile, though it was a bit strained as at that moment her first mate lepus, Sheelah, had decided she didn't want to be held and was struggling quite fiercely to get free. She wasn't afraid to use her claws or teeth, either. This was why she was here, it seemed.

"You brought Rhys?" she asked, recognizing the lepus with a comforting sense of familiarity. "But who's this?" she tried to gesture to Takashiro, but failed as she had to clamp down on Sheelah to keep her from bolting.

"Luka, heel! Luka!" The envy demon wasn't exactly yelling, but his voice was definitely a bit loud as he tried to get his little beast to not run around like he is. Even with a decent sized leash, the pup sized foxsquirrel was dead determined to do whatever he wanted to do; sniff everything, look at everything or try to get free. In the end, Livi simply sighed and picked him up once he had jogged up to him. He didn't understand what was up with him; he had never had this sort of trouble with any other pet. It made him vastly concerned about Luka's mental well-being.

Hence why he was taking him to class. Seeing how a good portion of the seats were already taken, he picked a random spot and marked his own place. Naturally, he would have gone to sit near Carry, but either seat next to her had been claimed so not much he could do. And plus, he didn't wish Carry to be the next target for Luka in case the scamp did anything unsavory. Noticing how he had to take his shoes off, he settled down to do so, Luka being set next to him to bounce around and yap adorably at things only he could see.

Setting his boots in their proper spot, he went to go sit down, Luka bouncing around his legs.

Sin was tired of it, she was just fed up, especially after the fiasco that happened with Riley. She loved her babies, really she adored them, but their behavior was wild and unpredictable. She knew who the real troublemaker was though it was Pantaloons who spent all his time getting into trouble. He led his mate astray as well and between the two of them she had spent a lot of seeds in new undergarments. It had to stop, or at least slow down, they were on a wild panty stealing streak.

She had tried to leash the unmentionable but there was no way he was cooperating. Luckily she had managed to split the mated pair with some trickery. Ladyluv was in the closet and she had threatened Pantaloons with never seeing her again if he didn't cooperate. He seemed to have gotten the message because he was following her at least. It was heartbreaking to split them up, but she was at her wits end and by now she would try anything to get them to behave. She walked in and spotted Riley, oh great...she instantly threw a glare over her shoulder at Pantaloons and pointed down by a seat.

The unmentionable growled at her but followed anyway and landed on her lap with a grumbling noise and then a pitiful whine. Sin sighed softly, this was going to be a long class....

She had gotten wind of the most amazing class yet. A class to finally train her minipets! Oh Jack was she taking advantage of this! Callix (her batling) was in for a rude surprise. But the she-wolf was tired of the constant squabbling between the batling and her demon cat, Lucifer. This had to be the best idea the school had had yet. Right?

LW padded quietly into the classroom, looking around and sniffing at the air. It smelled...smokey? Strange...unless you had a big campfire in the middle of the room. How interesting. Her batling was currently being held against her chest. Callix was immensely pleased to discover there were cute ladies about the room. The she-wolf on the other hand, was groaning as she realized she'd have to keep an extra eye on him. And what was the deal with the take your shoes off? What if you never wore shoes to begin with? Not that there seemed to be a place to put your shoes...

Approaching the main group around the fire, the she-wolf's face lit up as she saw three people she knew! Big grin on her face, LW walked up and said "Hi!" to Ren, Alessa and Gabe. Probably against her better judgment, LW took the seat next to Gabe instead of Ren, where she had originally been heading. Maybe the two of them could talk a little in a non-awkward situation? LW wanted to try at least. "Hello, Gabrian." She said sweetly.

It had been Hell trying to separate Sayuri from Kuro. The pair just did not want to be apart! She sat Sayuri in the hall and she tried to come back inside, or Kuro tried to get out too and she couldn't hold them back with the sides of her feet. Ugh! She tried picking Sayuri up and hurrying out the door but Kuro would trip her up. Junko even tried baiting them with food! But she couldn't get them to stay apart. It was Sayuri that needed training! Though perhaps Kuro could do with some too apparently! Finally Junko gave in with a sigh, picking up both pygmy foxes and closing the door with her foot. The foxes yipped and barked with happiness, absolutely elated to be going somewhere with their mommy. Yay mommy! Mommy was taking them out somewhere again yaaaaaay!

Oooh what was that? It was bright and warm and it made funfunfun crackly noises! Kuro stayed popped up on his mommy's shoulder while Sayuri seemed to go nuts, wriggling and squirming and trying to free herself from Junko's grasp so she could try and get at the fire. "No, no. Stay here. We need to sit, Sayuri...Sayuri, stop please." Junko murmured to the excited little fox. She looked around for a place to sit, a bright smile appearing on her face the moment she spotted a good friend.

"Sin!" She called out happily, sitting down in the empty stool beside her friend. "Hello, Sin! Oh...I...I see you brought...him with you." Oh yes. Junko recognized this little guy. She crossed her legs and turned slightly so the thing wouldn't be tempted to try to do to her what he did to Riley. That had been a horrific scene.

Now, it was steadily growing common knowledge that the marid actually had something of an affinity for pets(also misbehaving body parts, but that is neither here nor there at the moment.) and didn't really need this class. Her own pets were exceptionally well trained, and she'd even been kind enough to help Westus with his own unruly herd.

Speaking of West, he already seemed to be here. She spotted him almost at once as she slipped into the classroom with Hani'ah, her newest addition, prancing about her heels excitedly. Being so new, Yaya hadn't had time to train the little scareon fully, so while not prone to misbehaving, she didn't always listen to commands. Fair to excited to focus. This wasn't a concern for the demon though, she knew it was only a matter of repetition and patience.

Placing her slippers upon the rack, Yaya made her way around the circle. Leaving fond little squeezes to Junko and West's shoulders as she passed them on her way to a stole beside Riley. Hani'ah bounded after her happily, and was Hadiyya had taken her seat, was plucked up and held on the demon's lap.

Rain grumbled and took a seat left of the fire. She hated fire. Fire.. and undead did not mix but there were no more seats away from it, or rather the shoe area was starting to look crowded. Besides, the idea of seating with the shoes wasn't any more appealing to her. If she burned to a fiery death, that was her fate.

This would not be a very comfortable class for her though she did enjoy being barefoot. She wiggled her toes as she stared into the fire. After a moment, she dared to stick her tongue out at the flames, as if challenging it. Stupid fire.
