Sir AlastairBefore he actually went into the inn, he stopped when the short haired Lady spoke. He shifted, so that the cloaked revealed a mouth, and a short, somewhat graying beard. The man had a smile on his face. It was faint, but a smile none the less. "Then," he began, "as a personal favor from a friendly traveler, perhaps you could watch that no one takes my dog away. I rely on him heavily. He responds to the name, 'Reighleigh.'"And with that, he walked into the bustling inn. He carefully weaved through the tables and stepped over the passed out drunkards. He avoided the courtesans and the lustful men. They were often trouble. Those women would do anything for gold and jewelry. And those men did anything to keep other men away from their favorites. In the back of the inn, there was a stair case. He walked up the steps and arrived at a dark hallway. The walls were lined with doors, doors, and some more door. The cloaked figure pulled out a piece of paper and a key. On the paper, was scrawled the number, 67. Walking down the hallway, he halted by a door that had the said number. Inserting the key into the keyhole, and twisting it, the door let out a soft, 'click.' The man opened the door and then walked into a dark room. As his eyes got used to the darkness, he closed the door behind him, before taking a look at the room. There was a closed window, by it, there was a desk. Pushed against the wall, there was a bed and a dresser. On the dresser there was a candle and a match box. On the opposite wall from the bed was a dresser. Looking to his left, there was a door that presumably led to the bathroom. Walking further into the room, he dropped his bag by the bed post and strikes a match. The man turned to the candle and lit it, before putting out the small flame on the match. He sat down onto the bed before pulling out his hood. It was a man with dark brown hair that was graying just like his beard. His face had several ceases from the hard years that he had gone through. Tired brown eyes were cast down to stare at the wooden floor boards. This face... It belonged to Sir Alastair, knighted by no other than the Queen of England herself...

Gωєη Gwen nodded and turned to the man, kneeling down and petting the dog. She bowed her head. "How do you do?"

ReighleighReighleigh raised his head when he saw a woman walk into the stables. His ears prickled as she approached him. He sniffed at the outstretched hand that was reaching for his head. The human bowed her head and greeted him. He didn't react negatively to her touch, but he didn't react positively either. He let out a sound, similar to a grunt, before resting his head on his paws.

Gωєη Gwen sighed. "Hmmm, I've got it!" She said, scurring off to the basket in the corner. "These were supposed to be for a specific someone, but I believe I can spare one or two.." She muttered, taking a chicken leg out of the basket and going over to the dog. "Want it?" She asked, smiling.

Reighleigh At the sight of the chicken leg, Reighleigh's head shot up. His eyes fixated on the leg. He licked his lips, as he began to salivate. He sniffed the air, taking in the smell. Crawling out from under the bench, he stood. At first, it looked like he was going to jump at her, but after a moment or two, he sat down. His dark eyes were still on the leg. Briefly, he looked at Gwen and then let out a low bark. His long tail thumped against the floor boards.

Gωєη Gwen smiled. "I thought you would like it." She said, getting a plate she borrowed from the palace kitchen. She placed the leg on it, and the the plate in front of the dog. "It's okay. I won't hurt you."

ReighleighHe watched as the woman placed the chicken leg on a plate. Once it was on the floor, he stood up and moved closer to it before sinking his teeth into the leg. He soon sat down, and then after a while, he laid down. Soon, there was something left but the bone, which he had picked clean. Yawning, he leaned his head back and opened his maw wide open, revealing jagged teeth. Resting his head on his paws, he snorted. Reighleigh was soon on his side, snoring quietly.

(Time skip?) Sir AlastairMorning eventually came. The Inn was less crowded for all the courtesans and drunkards had been chased out by the Inn owner's wife. The plump woman had rather aggressively chased them out with a rolling pin. Walking down the stairs, Alastair had left his cloak in his room. He wore nothing but a simple white shirt, black loose pants tucked into his brown leather boots. He greeted the Inn own and his wife and requested for some ham, fresh carrots and bread. Once he had it, he left the Inn and went into the stables. He was greeted by a joyous Reighleigh, and even his horse nickered. He patted his dog and then rubbed his horse's head affectionately. He handed her a carrot and took a seat on the bench. His dog trotted over to him and sat in front of him. He had his eye on the ham, and Alastair knew it.

((Sure.)) Gωєη Gwen came into the stables, carrying a bucket. "Good morning." She greeted, pouring the water of the bucket into the horse's water barrel, that was now full.

Sir AlastairAlastair looked up briefly at the woman and then turned back to the ham. "Good morning, M'Lady," he replied as he pulled out a knife, which was most likely crafted by elves due to it's fancy appearance. He proceeded to cut the ham before holding the ham out to Reighleigh. "Down," he commanded. As if this was a routine, which is was, the dog automatically laid down. "Up," Alastair continued. The Reighleigh sat up and then watched as his Master placed the piece of ham on his nose, "stay... Stay.... 'Atta boy!"At the praise, the dog nodded his head up, tossing the slice of ham into the air and allowed it to fall into his awaiting jaws. Alastair grinned a little before tearing a piece of bread, he began to eat. He watched as the woman filled the horse's water barrel, which the Chestnut mare seemed thankful for as she moved to drink out of it. "I hope my dog was no trouble to you last night," he said.

Sir AlastairThe man only nodded as he continued to eat the bread. He sighed a little and then leaned on the stone wall. The dog yawned and then laid down by his Master's feet. "I remember you said that you work for the King," he began slowly, "how are things in the Royal Court?"The Royal Court. He used to work for the Queen. But alas, he was banished from the Court, and army. He didn't mind. Though, he was still miffed at the fact that he was framed for something that he certainly did not do. And it enraged him, for the fact that real culprit had not been caught. He wanted justice. But alas, what could he do? This was years ago. So, he tried to forget, but no. He never could. It alway stayed in the back of his mind, reminding him or the hurt he had felt that day when he was brought in front of the Royal family to be punished for something that he had not done. And like a branding iron, the Queen's harsh words had left it's mark on him. A mark that he could never get rid off... Sensing his Master's uneasiness, Reighleigh raised his head and nudged Alastair's knee, with a low bark following it. Snapping out of his thoughts, he looked at his dog who had rested his head on his knee. The man reached out and place his free hand on the dog's head. He quickly finished the slice of bread.

Sir AlastairAlastair nodded and then took a small slice of ham and giving the rest of it to Reighleigh. He ate the small piece of ham and then stood up. He took the plate and then walked out of the stables. Returning to the Inn, he returned the plate to the Inn owner's wife, who took it to the kitchen. He walked back to his room to retrieve a small pouch of money, and his sword. The hilt was made out of silver, and at the tip of it was a red gem (most likely a ruby). He tied the sheath onto his belt and then walked out of the Inn. He made his way back to the Stables and then went to the Chestnut mare. He stroked her head for a moment before grabbing the reigns and saddle. Alastair tacked the horse and then led her out of the stables. He turned back to the woman and called out to her. With a single motion, he tossed a golden coin to her. "A little token of appreciation for watching Reighleigh," he said, then turned to the dog, "you stay here." Reighleigh's ears pinned back and he whined a little, but returned to the stables.
