Mikito Sikijiro, Young Sanseki of Squad 13

Mikito silently listened to his Captain suprise that Mikito looked so young. he blinked as the captain said he never had seen a young looking Shinigami? But he had always thought there were others excluding Senka as young looking as him, "Uh... i'm 407 years old... I joined the training academy when I looked like I was nine..." Mikito suppressed a giggle, remembering all those times when they laughed because of his young looking appearence when he tried to join the academy, but immediantly shut up as soon as they saw his own skill.

"Oh... Okay Tyrus-sama." said Mikito correcting himself when Ares told Mikito what he was allowed to call him. He immediantly started following behind Tyrus still looking a tad shy, fidgeting with his fingers while he followed behind his captain, 'Mikito, quit acting so shy and talk to your captain.' said Takai-Usagi as she appeared beside Mikito walking with him, of course Mikito was the only one who could see her and he wouldn't dare say anything outloud to get attention from his captain. His Zanpakotou spirit was still urging him to quit being such a shy guy, he tried to shoo her away when his captain wasn't looking but she simply stayed there.
'I won't go till you say something.' demanded Takai-Usagi.
Mikito shot a look at his Zanpakotou's spirit and finnally succumbed to her orders, "Wh-what happened to the previous thirteenth division Captain?" asked Mikito reluntantly and suddenly to Tyrus, his spirit, Takai-Usagi stuck her tongue out and dissapeared back into Mikito's Zanpakotou... She has been acting very unusual lately, but putting the thought aside he put his attention back on his captain as he waited for an answer expecting the worse.

Ever since arriving on the rooftop, Senka had eventually moved in place, opting to lie down instead of sitting up as she had been before. She curled up in a cat-like manner, bringing her fluffy tail up to her face and draping it across her snout as she waited in peace for everyone to arrive. When Tsukiko arrived at the gathering place, Senka's ears perked up like a dog's might, but she did not move otherwise, instead opting to guess her sister's next move, which turned out to be mostly correct. Tsukiko had moved next to her like she had assumed she would, but the following petting of her head had been unaccounted for, though it did not bother. While taking on this form, she was subject to several instincts and habits that came with it, one of these being a large amount of happiness coming from having the area behind her ears scratched. So naturally, when her sister's fingers touched this very spot, she grew excited, shivers running down her spine as Tsukiko's scratching proved to induce a euphoric state within her. This feeling was able to counter the bluntness of her sister's words, which might have otherwise proved to upset her slightly, but it did not prevent her from replying in this form's low voice. "I honestly don't care what people think, onee-chan. If I did, I would have changed my attitude a long time ago. I may have taken this job due to the necessity of filling the role, but I intend to act my age while I can. Some of us, onee-chan, don't have the option of choosing what their body looks like and should be kids while we have the chance."

Senka turned her head towards the ground, looking down upon the other Shinigami that were gathering; some seemed to be at ease while others were far from it. Looking to the North she could see various other troops arriving from every corner of the city, under orders from their respective Captains. Thinking back, Senka couldn't honestly remember instructing them to bring their entire division, and noting that no one from the 12th Division had come before or with Tsukiko, she had to further question their motives for doing so. Of course, she had no way of knowing that the lack of 12th Division members was Tsukiko's own choice and not an order, implied or otherwise. "I think, given time, they will warm up to me. I am, after all, ridiculously adorable. In any event, I'd worry less about me and a little bit more about your relationships, onee-chan. It's not at all weird for a ten-year-old girl to call her elder sister her best friend, but it's quite another for a woman of your age -- in appearance at least -- to call that same little girl her best friend. Now, I suggest staying away from that one." She pointed her nose towards Akusuna to imply she was referring to him; she based her statement of avoidance on a mixture of a hunch and reports on the others she had speed-read over the past four days. "And try to get to know that girl, the one that, according to Shiro-chan, can read minds. You might try her, who knows... maybe you can... date her." Smiling, an act not very visible on the snout of a fox, Senka buried her face in her tail once more and relaxed as Tsukiko continued to scratch behind her ears.

Giving a bow to her captain. "Yes sir, sorry for being late, I'm still getting used to this place, but it seems that's taking a bit more time than it should." After exiting her bow, she turned from her Captain, heading in a different direction than he was, she had to be off to go see someone, she knew he wouldn't be here yet, it was her friend from the fourth division, Unohana Retsu. She had become close to this woman over the span of the last few months, being interested in her medical pratices, someting that truly sparked Viola's interest. On her walk she noticed a few people heading in the direction she was leaving from, one actually stopped to tell her where the meeting place was, she said she knew, not fully explanning what she was doing, she continued on. The fourth division came into view about 13 minuets after her departure from her captain. The medical division somehow looked different from the others, even thought it wasn't, she always painted it as something of a wonderfully drawn painting. Once she had entered into the main gates, she wandered around for a moment before once again seeing Unohana's quarters. She went to the door, a few pots of pink flowers were outside, she knew that Unohana was big on plants and the use of them in medicines. She gave a gentle knock on the door, she was Viola's only literal friend so far, so she wanted to make sure she kept in contact along with generally just wanting to be around someone who was so smart, Viola was no fool, but it was interesting to learn about a field of study she had no knowledge of. She also wanted to walk with Unohana to the meeting ground, able to talk and whatnot before being sent off on their mission, it was both fun and terrifying to Viola.

Tenth Squad Captain

Kiso Azuma

I Came To See

--If What I had

----Heard Was True

User Image

Deciding that neither his Vice or 3rd seat were going to present, Kiso was about to address everyone, it was then that Yuudai broke in with such a noise it made Kiso actually turn his head in curiosity. The man looked awkward, as if he had just undergone some horrible ordeal, he was aware that his captain was recently killed, and now, now he was being forced to ally himself with his killer, but Kiso was not so emotional, in fact, he wasn't the type of man that would grieve very long over a lost comrade. After Yuudai sat next to Kiso, the room was so quiet, Yuudai appeared not to be taking too keen an interest in his surroundings, this mad Kiso a bit uneasy, leaning over, Kiso whispered into Yuudai's ear. "Are you alright? I don't need the men seeing their vice unstable when one a new captain is here, and two, we are about to go to war, shape up." With Kiso's commanding words, he straightened himself out slowly, giving Yuudai a very stern eye, he might be uncaring, but he knew when to act like a leader. After spending a few more moments preparing himself, closing his eyes whilst tasting the sweet power of sake on his lips, he turned his attention to the squad members of the tenth division. "My fellow comrades." Kiso began. "We have been through a very tiring and grievous past few days, you've unfairly lost your Captain to an Arrancar, Seireitei has been plunged into a war suddenly, and what's more? You are now being asked to fight along side the very person who has stole something precious to you!" Kiso banged his fist against the floor as uproars from the members began to stir, shouts of hate, shouts of unwillingness, the sudden noise stopped it all, and Kiso frowned.

"Look at yourselves now! You are going to refuse to fight for the freedom of Seireitei? You are not being asked to fight for the Arrancar, you not being asked to save their lives, you aren't being asked to truly call yourselves brothers in war, you are being asked to defend your home against a common enemy. We are being faced with something of the likes we have never dealt with before. I understand your pain, but will you refuse to do so and witness the complete destruction of this place? Do you not hold it dear to you!?" Kiso's voice had been raised for the entire duration of his short speech, the crowd settled and thought about the words that their new captain had spoken. "You follow me, and I now am asking you to fight for the protection of yours and my home, we are fighting for a place to call home when this is all done, the Arrancar, you may hate them and want to see their death just as eagerly as the enemy we share, but that is not our goal, this war is not between shinigami and arrancar." Taking a deep breath, he made the last bit of his statement.

"We are the tenth division, we are the ones to go to the front lines and defend, even at the costs of our lives, so, put your attention not on the Arrancar, but on the enemy that threatens your loved ones, as honorable men, I know that you'll stand with me, fight with me, and I will be proud to die with you!" Cheers flooded the room suddenly, chants to Kiso, Kiso sat back again lazily in his seat, giving a toast to the crowd. "I knew that I could count on you, lets make this fiend who thinks she can tare us apart understand the real power of the shinigami!" It was customary for the vice of the squad to then make a small speech after the Captain, Kiso looked to Yuudai, his face was still slightly angered by the fact that Yuudai appeared so spaced out, the loss of someone you held dear should not affect a vice like this, emotions are strong, but Yuudai appeared overly weak, and Kiso wasn't interested in having him as his second of he was truly so weak in mind and heart, a warrior must mix strength with love, but not let love overthrow their mind. "Yuudai, care to add to what I've said?" Kiso was trying his best to get through to the man, but at this point it almost seemed completely useless.

Unohana Retsu - 4th Seat Of Yonbantai -

Having always been big bodied, Unohana was having trouble putting on her clothing that had just recently been washed, appearing that it had somehow shrunk. Not getting too worried about this trivial situation, she simple exited to her closet and grabbed a new set of clothes, she had at least six prepared sets of the same type of clothing to ware in case of such an emergency. After dressing, she exited onto her back veranda, her apartment was on a very steep hill, so her veranda was help up by very large support beams, it looked out into a vast forest, it swept all of north Rukongai, though no houses were visible, this forest held vast paths that led to Unohana's many secure secret gardens, it was a place of growing an extensive amount of medicinal herbs and just flowers, which she often delivered to her Captain in the early morning before Ashely awoke, Unohana loved to give flowers to others. Seeing that her tea was growing cold, she poured it into a pot of flowers that sat at the edge of the porch, at once the soil stirred with life and new plants began to sprout out, the tea was made from a very rare and extremely expensive herb that was only grown by Unohana and kept in her person store. It gave instant energy to ones body and was capable of speeding up plant growth by 1000X the normal rate.

As Unohana emptied her cup, she left to get a fresh warm cup, after pouring, watching the steam rise, she left back outside. The air here was the most fresh and vibrant in all of Seireitei, she often invited her Captain to her house to watch the fluttering trees, she shared a very special bond with her Captain, and it was her duty to make sure Ashely was happy. Sitting now so her legs were bent under her body, she sipped her tea quite gently, there was no loud sounds, only peace and quiet, it was a scene that installed a feeling of hope, and yet hopelessness in her, she felt as if it may be the last time that these trees share a time of comfort with her, and the last time that she may be granted the pleasure of gazing into their mystery. "Seireitei truly is in troubled times, and as I suspected, everyone's heart is at stake, hope, our only defense now." Finishing her tea, barely hearing the knock on the door, for the second time, Unohana aloud the smile of her usual appearance to come back, she lifted herself gracefully and answered the door, it was her curious young friend Viola, whom seemed to tag along with Unohana almost everywhere she went. "Welcome. Please come in." After she entered she shut the door quietly behind her. "I was just enjoying some tea and a bit of nature before I left, care to join me fore a little while?" With an open palm hand, she pointed towards the veranda, smiling, but hiding her true terrified feelings within. Unohana was one of the most talented people in all of Seireitei in hiding what they truly felt, completely undetectable by anyone, even the most skilled person in terms of understanding human body language.

Making his way from the mess hall, he had bloated on stuffed pasta and orange juice, it was so good he couldn't restrain himself in eating to the point where he could actually feel himself being weighed down, he was tired now, trying to digest that much food was using up any and all energy, it made him feel extremely disgusting yet at the same time so completely satisfied. After he lingered for a moment outside the mess hall doors, he tried his best to walk away.

"Oh gosh, I over did it again, makes things a bit more difficult."

He half accepected to see his captain present, but lately, he hadn't see a lot of Yukito, it was kinda odd, but he decided not to make a fuss, Yukito was most likely busy preparing, this was how he prepared, but making himself sick.

"Better that Yukito isn't here, he'd laugh at me to see me like this, he's probably stuffed up in his office making plans, thinking, sleeping?"

Si decided he'd go check on his captain, he began to jog, it hurt, but he wanted to burn some of this off. After only a few seconds, he was out of breath and decided to walk/drag himself the rest of the way. He came to Yukito's office, he barely raised his hand for a knock, it seemed like too much effort to just do that.

"I hope he's here, I'd like to talk to him before we leave."

It would be another hour or more before they would actually depart, so, he thought a small conversation with his captain couldn't hurt, besides, he might have some delicious sake that would need consuming. He laughed at his comment, which sent a horrible pain into his left side.

"Great now I'm getting cramps."

He whispered as he sent the knock onto Yukito's door, he didn't want to be too loud, maybe he was sleeping, he would need his rest after all. Si wasn't the brightest or strongest shinigami among the eighth division, but he tried to be the happiest, at least he was more cheerful than Jin, that guy made his skin crawl like none other, but Si wasn't being judgmental, just that he needed to be scared really bad and then maybe he'd loosen up.

Tyrus Ares
Captain, Thirteenth Division
Sereitei, Soul Society

"The previous Thirteenth Division captain..." Tyrus sighed heavily. Of course, someone from the division would ask about the previous captain. He knew deep inside that the question would still reveal itself in due time.

Suddenly, he stopped and then turned to Mikito, who seemed unusually flustered and nervous. "The status of the past captain is of no importance at the moment; although, it would be safe to assume he's in a... some mysterious place. I suggest you avoid asking too much questions about him for what you know is what I know at the moment." He said curtly and then turned again, walking towards their destination once more. Realizing that they had been walking for the longest of time, Tyrus Ares moved slightly faster than normal. "You know Shunpo, correct?"

Tyrus, with a short skip, disappeared at once in front of Mikito when he made a series of swift skips through the air. Within a matter of moments, he arrived at the destination where the mission will be starting - the main Senkaimon of Sereitei. He looked behind him and thought that with Mikito's battle statistics, performing Shunpo wouldn't be so difficult for the third seat. Then, Tyrus took notice of the unusual fox by the gate and that extremely attractive... er... scary Twelfth Division captain sitting beside the animal. Sighing with himself, Tyrus made self-assumptions and then remained standing before the other division captains (Akusuna and Tsukiko) and members. "Troublesome boy." He said softly as he waited for Mikito.

Eight Division Captain
============================================Yukito Shun============================================

User ImageIt is through skill that we fight

Using the free time allotted by the Captain-Commander after the meeting was dismissed, Yukito spent the majority of his time looking after his bed-ridden brother-- despite the latter’s insistence that it was unnecessary. When he was finally convinced that his time would be better spent elsewhere, Yukito departed for his Captain’s office, making some last minute arrangements before retreating to the training grounds to focus on his swordsmanship. The thought of death was never absent in Yukito’s mind, from what they could guess they were facing off against a literal goddess, to foolishly disregard the danger would be like digging your own grave, especially when the stakes were this high, the lives of both them and their brainwashed comrades was on the line here. And besides that, they still had no idea what Shiva was planning, for all they knew she was plotting Armageddon.

To summarize, he had spent three hours looking after his brother, one hour fixing things in his office, and two hours practicing drills in the training area, including the time allotted for rest to regain his stamina. As such, he was hard-pressed to arrive on time for the appointed rendezvous area, jogging through the streets to balance both speed and stamina as he neared the location. Upon arriving, he gave a quick glance over the area, seeing as how there were still quite a few Shinigami here and the Captain-Commander was still absent-- though unknown to Yukito she was actually there, just not readily visible-- Yukito breathed a sigh of relief, thankful he was not late. Choosing to ignore his comrades, Yukito walked over to a nearby wall and leaned on it, closing his eyes as he took a light nap of sorts, he was not fully asleep, nor was he fully awake; rather, he was more or less daydreaming with his eyes closed.

Eleventh Division Captain

"You've lost. Thats all there is to it."

______________________________________

Akira had walked about, stretching while he did, making sure all the ache's and pains were gone. "Hah, well. Lets get this on the way." He said calmly, heading out toward the 11th Squad Barracks. "Now that that's over with..I'll have to explain what's going on to my squad." He thought calmly. His eyes looking up toward the clouds. "Not like they'll refuse. But even I feel a bit of confidence with this plan..At the same time, we almost don't have much of a choice.". He inhaled, and then shook the extra thoughts from his head, proceeding toward his area. It only took him a few moments to get there, to the dojo area, where he had ordered half his soldiers to be every other day, for training. He stepped foot inside, and then looked around calmly. Everyone greeted the captain with solutes. One had stepped forward, and Kira told him to get anyone not in the training area, to the training area. Only moments had passed before the area was packed with his entire squadron. Then he began to explain what was going on.

"Listen up..We're, the other captain's and I are heading out..I'm not quite sure how long we're gonna be gone, but that's why I'm leaving you all here.." He said, before one of the men spoke.

"What? That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't it be faster if we-"

He was cut off by Kira, lifting his hand. "Let me finish. He began, closing his eyes while he spoke. The reason I'm even leaving you all here is because we're going to be working with the Espada..Even with that, I'm not sure just how much we can trust them. If none of us are here to fight them, if they turned, or someone else attacked..." He started, blinking. "Then this place would be history. No question.." He said. "This is what I feel is the best choice. But hell, I could just be acting a little paranoid. But better safe then sorry." He said, smiling largely at his group.

"What if they do attack..will we be able to hold them off?" Another soldier had spoken up.

"I hope so..if we went off, and you all got killed, then this would be a little bit pointless, right? Anyway, I'm sure the 12th Division captain wouldn't go without some way to check up on things here, nor that brat." He said, leaned against a small desk with his arms crossed over his abdomen.

"Brat, sir?"

He asked, not sure what he meant, as they we're all used to formalities. "The new Head-Captain." Akira answered. "We'll depart in a few hours. Soooo, I'm leaving the lieutenant in charge, until I return." He said, letting himself from his leaning position. "So how about we put in our best effort to not suck and die."

Mikito Sikijiro, Young Sanseki of Squad 13

Mikito nodded confidently when Tyrus asked him of he could shunpo, well of course he could! In a swift dash and skip, Mikito was following behind his captain in a flickering pattern until they were at the senkaimon. The young sanseki appeared not so far from Tyrus, Mikito observed the people around him. There was a fox (what?), a few captains, and a few shinigami.

The human world... Why did Mikito felt he was there all his life along with the Soul Society? But the only thing he could remember were shattered pieces, simply details. Like a truck, or a sad look, or a crowd of tough looking older kids.
"Ow..." A headache developed in Mikito's head, the more he thought about the shattered memories, the more he started to hurt himself. The young boy forced himself not to think anything of it and rubbed his head, as if he was wiping away the thoughts and pain.

As Mikito waited alongside his Taichou, he started fidgeting around with the sheath of his Zanpakotou, when were they going to dismiss to the human world and do whatever they were going to do for the mission?
If Mikito had to list things that were not capable of doing himself, then it was waiting. He shifted his weight to foot to foot and even counted in his head till he simply lost count. He played rock, paper scissors with both of his hands, his zanpakotou spirit simply waited, if Mikito was able to introduce himself so would she! Mikito's zanpakotou glinted and there was a small light that turned into Miktio's Zanpakotou spirit. Of course she made herself visible to others so that Tyrus wouldn't look like he was insane, "Hello Tyrus-sama, it's going to be a pleasure to be working with you! I'm Takai-Usagi, Mikito's zanpakotou." Mikito turned and was rather suprised to see that Takai-Usagi had appeared, why was she acting like this? Was something changing in Mikito?
The girl with rabbit ears who suddenly apeared continued putting her hand on Mikito's head, "Don't mind this lil kid's shyness, just keep going at him and he'll call you Onii-san before you even know it!" Mikito gave his spirit a questionable look, and his ears felt warm, but everything that his spirit said was true...
Wasn't she a part of Mikito? Then what part of Mikito turned into Takai-Usagi? He would have withdrawn her back into the zanpakotou, but that wouldn't be really kind to do, she seemed to be really enjoying the appearance to the captain, but what would he say to Takai-Usagi?

Jin - 5th Seat Squad Eight

Know Your Fears -

User Image
Jin nearly all together missed the presence of his fellow squad member, Nagai was not someone Jin knew to any great extent, so, he merely gave a small head nod as the man approached him and spoke, not necessarily listening to a word he actually said. Jin walked in silence for a time, his hair bouncing back and forth, the wind held a sweet scent, and Jin lost the presence of his company. Quickly deducing that he was not alone, he turned to his side and saw that Nagai was still with him. "Oh, my apologizes, I am not used to having company." Jin had never spent any time getting to know his fellow comrades, it made him feel very uncomfortable being around someone other than his Lieutenant or Captain. Jin was currently headed to the meeting place, so he figured that Nagai could stay with him, seeing as he too needed to leave for the place of requirement. "So, Nagai, tell me, when did you decide that you wanted to join the ranks of squad eight?" Jin held a passionate yearning to be in this squad due to the high amount of respect it held to him, though that particular part of his life was nothing more than a secret, it remained ever present in his daily thoughts. The edge of Jin's waraji's were becoming warn, this was something he noticed now out of the corner of his eye, he had had the same pair for almost two years, and with the high traffic they saw on his daily routines, he was surprised that they had lasted as long as they did, then again, Jin was always conscious about taking care of his belongings, so, that would explain their long life period.

He was deciding that it might be time to put this pair in storage for memory sake and fashion himself a new pair, after all, Jin handmade all of his clothing, he was a crafts man in many ways. Normally hidden under his robes, Jin's hands became visible, the rubbed them together, feeling how dry they were, he frowned, cracked and sore hands would not make for a very comfortable fighting atmosphere, he knew that he needed something to take away this burden, but at the present time, he couldn't stray from his path, giving a glance to Nagai, Jin then closed his eyes again, not waiting for anything in particular, only to arrive at said place, it was then that the tree to which some were lingering around came into full view, they were almost there, Yukito in fact could now be seen from afar, Jin wanted to get this over with, so, if worse came to worse, he'd simple wrap his hands in a very smooth and flexible material that he so happened to keep under his obi, it was for occasions that his hand may get harmed, he would wrap them in this cloth as to make it easier to grip his sword and carry on for battle, but this cloth was not like any normal cloth, it reduced the pain of injuries, something he had created many years ago, the fabric was made from unknown elements, but its properties were amazing.

“You look after yourself now, alright, Father? I’ll be back as soon as possible.”

The door of the two-bedroom house slid open slowly as Shizuka stepped out, letting the fresh air revive her for a few seconds before turning around and smiling to her father, who was standing behind her, looking as she slipped into her shoes. “Hope everything goes well with you, Shizuka,” was his only reply and she nodded to him in acknowledgement before walking away from the house. She only stopped once, turning around to wave at her father and watching him as he closed and locked the front door of her house. There were many worries that were coming as a result of this latest visit, since he seemed a little more listless and tired than when she had seen him before. Then again, he was most likely getting old, like everyone else around them. With a heavy sigh, she moved on, strolling through the relatively familiar streets as she slowly made her way towards Seireitei once more. If only she had returned earlier, perhaps there might have been something that she could have done. Yet, she knew that her duties lay in allegiance to the Gotei 13, which was a full-on job and often no time to break. It was a lucky thing that her father hadn’t gone to the yearly Festival at that time, since she had a feeling that he would have been shocked by the state that she had been in.

The last few hours, more or less about five hours, had passed like seconds as the mad rush caught up with her. Immediately after leaving the Meeting Hall, she had managed to successfully corner one of the members of her Division to spread what she wanted to say, as a meeting would be too crowded and there was precious time to spare. She had ordered only Linuen and the other two next highest in rank to accompany her and the others of her Division were told to stay at home, so that they would not have a shortage of people dealing with the problems flowing out of Rukongai. The Captain Commander had not specified how many members were meant to follow and since they were mainly based in Soul Society itself usually, it was better for them to stay. Actually, she would have most likely taken more of her members, if there wasn’t so young members in her Division, whom had never experienced a battle. Not only would they be little help on the battlefield, she couldn’t expose them to the countless dangers that faced them. She had buried herself in completing the huge stacks of paperwork, attempting to clear as much out as she possibly could, so that she wouldn’t burden her members or herself when she returned. Roughly two hours or so was spent on that and she was unable to talk to anyone, especially Linuen, but there was no other choice. However, as a precaution, she had written him a hasty note to inform him of the fact that he and the other two were going to accompany her to the Human World and that he was to meet her in six or less hours at the meeting place. She sent it with one of her subordinates, a trusted one who would make sure that it would get to Linuen on time. A deep sleep was to follow for two hours as she rested her exhausted body and then, she had taken it upon herself, as she had no idea when she would see her father again or if she would again, to pay him a long overdue visit.

Her Captain’s quarters were the first place that she stopped at to hurriedly pulling herself out of her everyday white kimono and stepping into the shower for a quick cleaning of herself. A few minutes passed until she turned off the water, towelling herself off and quickly changing into her normal Shinigami uniform, complete with her usual Haori and her zanpakuto secured at her waist. She spared herself a quick check in the mirror to make sure that she was presentable, before arranging the papers on her desk. With that finished and her room neat again, she exited out of her room, locking the door behind her. She walked slowly to the designated meeting area, knowing that she was still relatively early and that it was not yet the time that Senka had specified. When she arrived, she panicked for a second, realizing the fact that there were quite a number of Captains present. However, scanning over them briefly, she noticed that not all of them were present and technically, she couldn’t be entirely counted as late, since the Captain Commander hadn’t seemed to arrive yet. Her gaze landed on Tsukiko and her breath caught in her throat as she remembered that she had still not properly thanked the other woman yet. This was a rather public place, but since there was going to be literally no time on this trip, now would be best. Gliding towards Tsukiko, she wondered briefly about why there was a fox next to the other girl, before turning to Tsukiko and dropping into a deep bow. “Jūnibantai-Taichō, I apologize for the lateness but I would like to give you my profound thanks for saving my life in the last battle. I am forever indebted to you and I hope that someday I will be able to repay the debt.” Despite the fact that she was completely sincere about what she saying, she was unable to stop herself from sounding stiff and formal as her nerves had decided to kick in for whatever insane reason there was.

Tyrus Ares
Captain, Thirteenth Division
Sereitei, Soul Society

Tyrus Ares turned to Mikito softly as the "kid" arrived at the main meeting area. His eyes narrowed for a moment when he saw the boy rub his head after thinking of something. According to many records and researches, spirits were from the Human World, which found themselves killed in some way or the other, or simply dying. It is no wonder that some spirits can recall their former lives, albeit this phenomenon was horribly subjective to each person. Thinking to himself, Tyrus deduced that Mikito might have been delving with his own memories for some time and caused some unexpected side-effects. Silly boy, indeed.

As Mikito found himself extremely bored, Tyrus shook his head in frustration. After a moment of toleration, the captain pulled his Zanpakuto from his waist and then hit Mikito's kneecaps with a stunning blow. The attack itself was strong enough to destroy a building to ashes but with the subordinate's reflexes and speed, it wouldn't be so much of a threat. He should have had enough time to adjust himself before the sheath struck his knees. "Remain quiet and still. Such insolence!" Tyrus Ares snapped at him, albeit not turning fully to Mikito at all. Silly boy, indeed.

But the moment Mikito's Zanpkuto materialized herself, it was only this time Tyrus Ares turned at his subordinate. A woman of a young age bearing rabbit ears formed before Tyrus and then greeted him with an overflowing enthusiasm. Nonetheless, Tyrus didn't mind much the unexpected "icebreaker". He gave one respectful nod at Mikito's Zanpakuto, because it was a woman, and then reluctantly smiled. "Yes, I can see that. Strange that he is unusually timid while horribly impatient; we'll see about that, correct, Mikito?" Tyrus said and then turned once again, waiting for the rest to arrive. "Hold your position." He added, also a note for Takai-Usagi. Silly boy, indeed.

As he turned, Tyrus then felt the arrival of that captain of a beauty, Shizuka Hatomi. His eyes irresistibly fluttered towards her figure as she approached that horrible woman, Tsukiko, and then talked something about her. He scoffed for a second before turning ice cold again yet somewhere inside... felt a rather strange feeling as he waited.

Linuen Frost
Third Seat, Seventh Division
Sereitei, Soul Society

Horribly late.

That was the main thoughts that ran all over Linuen Frost's mind at the moment. He skipped from one roof to another with overwhelming speed and managed a few tomatoes from nearby Shinigami that were tending to their plants as Linuen skipped by. Nonetheless, he dashed rapidly and quickly as he headed for the direction of the meeting.

"Damn this!" He exclaimed in fury. WHACK! Another tomato struck his face with a earth-loud splatter all over his face. He glared at the Shinigami he passed by but did not bother snapping at him because he really couldn't afford to stop anymore. He gasped for air and then dashed faster, his feet sore in the thin footwear. "LATE! LATE LATE!" He kept repeating again and again. Almost six hours ago, he heard from a subordinate about Shizuka's notice; they were going for the Human World along with some higher officials of the division. This excited Linuen and because of the excitement, he felt sleepy after three hours of thinking about it; he slept and one would be safe to assume what happened afterwards. And now, Linuen was dashing for the meeting of his Gotei-serving life.

He arrived at the meeting place merely minutes later, only to find Shizuka coming at the presence of a woman sitting by a fox about something. Who was that woman? She was pretty to Linuen's eyes but he felt a huge barrier separating them both. The woman was a figure of power. Somehow, as the two stood by each other, Shizuka and the unknown woman greatly differed. He thought, maybe, that he had grown unusually fond of his captain. He smiled and then gave a brief sigh and then stood from one side of the meeting place. He saw members of the other divisions, captains like Akusuna and some. And then...

His eyes widened. He blinked for several seconds before he realized who was that person he saw. It was true. "Wh-what?" He gasped softly as he stared at the figure of Tyrus Ares. Immediately, memories flooded within Linuen, so many memories that he felt nauseous as he recalled all of them. The memories told of Kei Aoi, Linuen and Tyrus Ares. He gasped in shock and then began to back out of the meeting place unknown of what he would do. He began to hyperventilate yet remained silent and tried his best to keep the anonymous figure at the moment. WHY WAS TYRUS A CAPTAIN?! No, Linuen thought otherwise. Tyrus Ares was too young to become a captain. But those are the symbolic captain's haori, correct? He began to breath for air but he felt as if they were not enough. His hands felt cold as he stared at Tyrus.

Until their eyes met.

Mikito Sikijiro, Young Sanseki of Squad 13

Mikito let out an awkward yelp of suprise as his Taichou swung the zanpakotou, he quickly stepped back before his captain's zanpakotou made crusing impact with his legs. "S-sorry Tyrus-sama!" Mikito bowed very quickly and shakily as his zanpakotou made her appearence.

After Tyrus pointed out mikito's behaviour, Takau-Usagi nodded to the captain, he defined his personality with pin point accuracy. She spoke in a more of a whisper, loud enough for the captain to hear but low enough for Mikito not to hear, his senses never worked properly when he tried to use them on his zanpaktou."I don't know what it is really that makes him so timid, but I think kids neglected him when he was a human." Takai-Usagi grimaced, as the playful air around her subsided, "He's a complicated boy really, he's timid and fragile, yet strong and full of potential at the same time...so please don't underestimate his abilities, Tyrus-sama." The spirit nodded as she disappeared, around the same time his captain's eyes wandered over to Shizuka. Mikito settled down and exhaled, this time more calmly waited, he didn't let any signs of impatience leak out of his behavior, he didn't really so anything. "Hm?" muttered Mikito as he heard a panicked 'what.' Mikito identified the shinigami as Liunen, wasn't that the person who stopped one of the Lieutenants from attacking Zenos? Then he must be a kind hearted person, thought Mikito as he noticed that Liunen was hyperventilating...
Did Tyrus and Liunen know eachother?
