Arenui's eyes lit up in slight amusement. It was a rather funny phrase as you wish, and reminded him of something. Ah it was definnitely a thought for a later time. "well then I shall leave it to you" he stated not having to catch something was definitely benificial. Arenui was rather lazy in that sense. When it didnt come to fighting and battles, little held his interest. "Shuuha huh" Arenui snorted. So both their names meant wave. Fate must have a weird since of humor. "Name's Arenui"

"Wave?" Shuuha chuckled as he looked at the other male, "Seems we have something in common..." He found it rather amusing that the other fox had the same meaning as him. "So....please....lead the way.." He gestured.

'pretty much" Arenui smirked. A nagging thought in the back of his head said this might have been a good idea if it remained as entertaining. Seeing as it was time to leave Arenui began walking down the beach. there was a trail to his home near the ocean shore and the slope up caused it to remain dry in times of a storm. As they reached the cave Areunui took them up at bit and to the left.
Once in there it revealed sort of a bigger globe like structure, what should have been dark was cast with a weird translucent glow from the plants scattered in abundness around and from the minerals and rocks from the celing. There seemed to be a pool that connected somewhere to the ocean and it made a sort of humming noise when ever a particularly violent wave hit the outside. "well we're here"

He looked around the den impressed, "How did you manage to find such an extensive den?" He walked over to the pool and lapped up some water.
"Thank you for the hospitality that you offer....If you would show me to the nearest pool to fish in, I will gladly catch food for the night."

"I fell in the water on the cliff that makes up this roof. some how I took the entrance to this pool of water instead of going cleanly straight up to the surface." It was also part of why he had been away from his den for so long. He had gotten word of the fox who had thrown him off the cliff. Arenui smiled evilly in his head keeping no trace on his face. Oh well everything was fine now. "They're in the water you just drank from. you can tell when they get to the surface because they glow as well. They will be safe to eat however.

"Glowing fish....I had never heard of such a thing...." he looked down at the water and sure enough there were small specks of glowing things swimming around the pool. "How fascinating" Shuuha watched in amazement, such beauty was in their formations.

"mm it happens occasionally when there isnt enough light in the water for them to see. Their bodies adapt so that they can get food." Arenui answered. He suppose it could be, after all he had gotten used to seeing the weird glow. then again wasnt that why he was so protective over his territory was the beauty of the place. could he really count it against the male. Arenui came to the conclusion that no, he couldnt and eventually nodded towards the man's comment.

"It will be such a shame to eat such a magnificent creature....but food is food...." He shrugged his shoulders as he settled himself by the water. He draped both of his paws into the water and remained completely still, allowing the fish to adjust to his presence and thereby forget about it.

"yes it is a bit of a gorgeous creature" Arenui replied. "However as long as the school is not over fished then they will breed and there will be others eventually that will come to take their place" he pointed out. Suddenly a translucent bird dropped down (think journey to the center of the earth) and landing on Arenui's shoulder. It cocked his head to the side looking over at shuuha. 'Hi Torii, over there is our guest Shuuha would you like to say Hello" He asked his personality seemingly shifting. Torii chirped before hoping over to shuuha say hello.

"hm?" He looked over to see who the male was talking to. Which was when he spotted the beautiful bird, with shimmering colors that he had never seen before. "Oh..." He smiled, "Torii?" He watched as the bird leapt onto his shoulder, "Hello there..." he smiled warmly, "I did not know that Arenui shared this cave with anymore....it is a pleasure to meet you Torii."

Arenui made a slight huff towards Torii the bird seemed to have no self preservation skills at all. It was sort of weird in the fact that most saw Arenui as a cold calculating and shut off fighter but really he was a bit different. He got along well with small animals and was extremely tolerable around kits... well most types. He watched as torii chirped before flying off."Yeah I ended up stumbling upon this place and the bird just decided to seperate from its pack to come stay with me" he explained.
