"You can't teach me magic if you don't come visit right?" He tilted his head as he tucked his bath things into his bags. Running a hand though his hair he walked over to his bed to sit down. "Unless you dont want to do that anymore"

"No, I do! I mean..." He felt his face heat slightly as he glanced down, trying to curb his tones back into something a bit more even, not wanting to get over-emotional over anything at the moment. "I just... Hadn't thought... I don't know." His eyes lifted to the ceiling once more as he leaned back on his palms.
"I guess I figured when you got out of here you'd just be so thrilled to leave all of this behind, me included, that you wouldn't want to. I'm used to being a phase." He shrugged his shoulders lightly, gaze lowering to even out on the other boy once more. "It's been a while since I've had a friend like you..."

"Not really sure i'm that much of a friend." He knew he wasn't 'friendly' most of the time and he had only recently stopped avoiding the dorm room to get time to himself away from Rikard. His room mate wasn't as bad as he'd originally though though so he had to give him some credit.
"I bought some cards myself. The game seems interesting so i still want to learn." Getting lessons from Rikard still seemed like the best bet. Otherwise he'd have to go out and find someone else to teach him and -that- wasn't happening.

"Don't sell yourself short, Luc. Even if you don't think you're all that much of a friend, at least you are one in general. It's better than nothing, isn't it?" His brow lofted lightly and that seemed to be the last of his 'seriousness', a grin slipping onto his face at the mention of Lucien having bought some cards.
"We'll have to check out your deck over break, then. Unless you're really looking forward to spending quality time with your cousin, we should have a good bit of time to teach you how to play."

He shook his head slightly. "No, well a little i guess ..." If they were both going to be home there was a good chance they'd go patrolling or something together but Rik didn't need to know that. "She'll probably invite Demetri over too."
He hadn't seen Demetri since the mall incident and wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing.
"I'm not sure i have enough for a whole deck yet..." He hadn't bought that many cards.
