Vol, and Patches.
Lorelei looked displeased and said, "Afterwords we MUST go to the lake. I wanna get sum treasure!"
"Sorry Lorelei, that book thing is uber cool sounding!" Patches said quietly.
"Stop being so shy!" Kesmet shouted as he hit Patches on the head. "Anyways, what kind of book is this 'Grimoire of Destiny'?"
"A fantasy book!" Lisa said excitedly, "It's about Black Mages, Seers, Warriors, Monsters, adventure, you name it! They say it's magic..."
"What are we waiting for!"said Vol, "A magic book sounds better than an underground lake. Besides we'll go to the lake later!"
Plot powers, go! They library and the book holds the plot. -_-

They all arrived at the library. They looked around in shock at the enormous interior.
"amazing!" vol said.
"dont let the look of it fool you!" lisa stated happily. they all looked at her with question.
"well, i mean... monsters and dangers lie ahead. This library has an underground corridor that is cursed. Its full of traps and everythin."
The adventure-loving lorelei's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"SCREW THE LAKE!!! this is all the adventure i need!"
the group all started to head into a section dim-lit and musty. it had a large wooden door covered in signs, all reading 'stay out' or 'danger'
their hearts rased with excitement as they opened the creaky door...

But the door was locked. Dissapointment was shown on most faces, especially Lorelei. Kesmet on the other hand, was as cheery as ever.
"Why are you so happy?" Lorelei said scathingly to Kesmet.
"Just wait..."Vol said as Kesmet pulled of his backpack and was rummaging through it. He pulled out a paper clip and a tension wrench and handed them to Vol. In a matter of seconds, Vol picked the lock and the door opened a crack. Excitedly, Lorelei pushed open the rusty door. Inside was a long corridor, with columns of book shelves. A big dusty banner read: FORBIDDEN SECTION.
"Maybe we shouldn't go in..." Lisa said.
"Don't be such a baby!" Vol exclaimed. "What is there to worry about?"
"Didn't Lisa just say there were monsters?" Lorelei said.
"So what? If there are monsters, we just need weapons," Lys stated and raised her claws, "Besides, my claws will tear through anything!"
"What's that over there?" said Kesmet pointing in the direction of apedastal, barely visible in the dim light.
"I don't see it..." Patches said with disbeleif.
"What are you guys doin?" a voice said behind them. The group turned suddenly and looked to see a small leopard behind them. It was Tiny the leopard.
"Shhhh,"Vol whispered, "You'll get us caught!" Just as Tiny was about to inquire some more, steps could be heard behind him. It was the librarian. If the group didn't want to get caught they had to do something. Quickly.

The group ran inside the door and shut it tightly. With ears pressed against the door, the group heard the footsteps faded. Lisa attempted to open the door. It was locked. Vol was already away from the door and walking around.
"How are we going to get out now?" Lisa said, worrying.
"No problem."Lorelei exclaimed, mockingly. "Vol can open it again!"
"Oh yeah..."Lisa said.
Vol was now at the pedestal. On the pedestal was a book. There was no title, and inside was...

"...a single inscription, covered in dust. Vol flipped through the rest of the pages, finding illustrations of warriors, knights, mages, and monsters. Vol went back to the first page. The main group was still bickering.
"Alta oron, Sondus kameela..." Vol said.
"Wha-" Lys stated, cut off by a blinding light.
"WAUUGH!!!!!!" Everyone yelled in shock and fear, as the light enveloped the entire room.

Vol awoke on a coblestone street. She sat up looking around. Not far from where she was sitting, the rest of the group was sitting around. As Vol went to stand up, she felt different. She looked down and realized she was in different clothes. She was garbed in a red and yellow tunic, with her left arm in a blue and silver gauntlet, and her right in fingerless gloves.
"How strange." she said to herself. "These are traveling clothes. Why would I be wearing these." She looked around. "And where am I?" Vol suddenly remembered her friends. She looked around and saw her friends. Lorelei had on a blue robe and a straw hat. Lisa was garbed in a white hood and cloak, and Pink pants. Kesmet wore a green hat and cloak, his backpack, and a tan tunic and pants. Patches wore a Warriors outfit, with silver armour and blue clothes. Tiny had orange clothes and an orange hat, with a red scarf. Lys was clothed completely in black, with long silver claws. Vol went to wake the others when two giant lizards stalked over to the group.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" said the first one. He wore silver armour and tan clothes
"Looksss like sssome Animalia... oh and a Viega." the second one replied. "The wolf isss a ssseer, the bat isss a thief, the fox isss a sssoldier, the cat isss a black mage, the bengal isss an assasin, the leopard isss a fusssilier, and the viega isss a warrior." the second lizard wore light clothes and brass knuckles. Vol found it hard to understand what they were saying because of the extended s's.
"I wasss,'t askin' for profilesss on 'em, Elef!" the first one exlaimed.
"Well ya asssked, Nyno!" Elef exclaimed. "What did you want me to sssay?"
"I wanted you to ssshut up!" Nyno stated.
"Hey!" Vol said, "What are you lizards doin?"
The lizards stared at Vol, as if she just insulted them horribly.
"What did you jussst call usss?!?" Nyno said, full of fury.
"Did you jussst call usss lizardsss?!?" Elef said, "We are not lizardsss, or Animalia!!!"
"So are you viega then? you don't look like it." Vol said, knowing she was just being a smart a**. (she still had no idea what they were.)
"WE ARE BANGAA!!!" Nyno yelled.
"If you keep thisss up, we'll give you sssuch a gouging!" Elef exclaimed.
"Wait!" someone called they're with me!!!" someone said. Vol turned and saw...

a Moogle! The Moogle ran up to Vol and said: "this group is with me!" the moogle turned and winked at Vol. "They are new to Camoa and...
"Ssso," said Nyno, "You are resssponsssible for thessse animalia?"
"Yes. " replied the moogle.
"THEN YOU WILL FIGHT ME, ASSS WELL ASSS THE FOX! Elef, help me kill thessse guys!" Nyno yelled.
"With pleasssure, Nyno." Elef said cheerfully.
"What?" Vol said, confused.
"Fox, do you know how to fight?" the moogle asked.
"Well enough. But I need a weapon." Vol replied. Vol walked over to kesmet, reached into his backpack, and pulled out a sword almost as long as she was tall.
"Excellent." said the moogle as he pulled out a lance and a whistle. "I also have a weapon. My lance and a Chocobo!"
"A what?" Vol said not understanding. The moogle blew on the whistle and Vol heard a distant 'Kweh!' as a large yellow bird ran over the bangaa and up to the moogle. The moogle mounted the large yellow bird and brandished his lance. The furious Nyno ran over to the moogle and extended his sword, but as he did he tripped over Lorelei, who, as well as the others were just waking up.
"What's going on?" Lys yelled, confused.
"I was just sending these lizards to the great white north!" Vol, exclaimed, as she knocked Elef into the air with the giant sword.
"Okay, but why are we in new clothes, and where are we?" Lorelei said fiddling with her new robes.
"Ask the short rabbit on the bird!" Vol yelled out as she knocked out both bangaa.
"What?" said the moogle "I'm a moogle, and I have a name. It's Lizzo!"
"Okay."said Lisa, "But we have some questions for you."
"Yeah."said Patches."Like, where are we?"
"You are in Ivalice." said Lizzo. "Where are you from? Somewhere not in Ivalice?"
"Dude, we're from Michigan." Said Kesmet. "Where is Ivalice, exactly?"
"Where isn't Ivalice. Ivalice is the whole planet!" The group stared at lizzo in awe...
i decided to join in the fun, with my moogle character, Lizzo the chocobo knight!

"HOLY CRAP!!!!" lorelei yelled. the group saw her paws surrounded in black flames. But, it didnt burn her.
"What the...?" vol looked in awe at the others staring.
"lizzo? can you explain at all?"
"well.."
i love this fricking story too much! and now i wanna draw everyone! anyways, this should be the part where everything is explained

"Your kinda casting the spell Fire..." Lizzo stated, "You're a Black Mage. They cast spells. You might wanna aim over there in that lake so you don't kill anyone..."
"Oh. Ok... How do I aim? like this..." Lorelei guessed.
"NO, STOP!" Lizzo yelled, but it was too late and the fire exploded in his and Lorelei's faces.
"Anyways..." Lizzo said rubbing soot off of his face, "Where is this...Michigan?"
"From here, we have no idea. We just got here." Patches said looking around. "By the way, did you garb us in these strange clothes?"
"No, I didn't..." Lizzo pondered. "Anyway, how did you get here?" Everyone was quiet, because no one really remembered.
"All I remember is a book..." said Lisa.
"I see... Well it seems you have nowhere to stay, no money..." Lizzo stated. The group looked down and wondered what they would do.
"I suppose you could come home with me..."
"Really?!?" Lisa said with excitement.
"Yes, but I need to ask you all a favor..." Lizzo said.
"Really." Kesmet said, knowing that everything had a catch and nothing was free... unless you took it.
"Yes, but come to my home first, it's not far."
The group arrived at a medium sized house accomponied by a barn.
"I must first tend to my chocobos before we talk. If anyone would help, I would truly appreciate it." Lizzo said to the group.
"I'll help." said Vol.
"Alright then. I only need one helping hand." Lizzo stated walking to the barn. "Well come on then, we're burning daylight! The rest of you can go inside my house. Just don't touch anything..."
Lizzo and Vol walked inside the barn and Vol was amazed. Inside were large birds, the size of horses. There were yellow, green, brown, red, white, and black chocobos, at least 4 of each. In the back were one of each of the others, but they wore saddles and looked different.
"These are chocobos." Lizzo said gesturing to the birds "They are swift mounts that are very popular. I breed them and sell them to people in Comoa. Each color has it's own abilities. For example, this black chocobo is the only color that can fly. Yellow is the fastest, and brown can cast a regenerating spell. White chocobos heal your magic, red can cast meteor, one of the most powerful attacks, and green can cure you of things like poison and stone. The chocobos in the back are my personal ones. I can call them with my whistle. The way you blow on the whistle will affect who comes. If I blow on it once," Lizzo said as he blew once on the whistle. The yellow chocobo in the back came running to Lizzo. "Spike here will come." Vol looked at spike and noticed a spiked collar. The other chocobos that were Lizzo's personal ones had other unique traits as well, Vol noticed. The green one had horns, the brown one had anklets, the red's feathers were unusually shiny, the white on had a halo, and the black one had goggles.
"Anyways, we have to feed these little monsters!" Lizzo said with happieness as he pulled out some carrots and green stalks of a plant. "These stalks are called Gyshal Greens. They are one of a chocobo's favorite foods, as well as carrots." Just as he told Vol this, the chocobos swarmed around him. "Waugh!!" Lizzo yelled as he fell over.
In the house the group sat down in the house in small chairs that would have been comfortable for Lizzo, but a little unbalanced for Animalia. Kesmet, being a thief, started unscrewing the screws on his chair he was sitting on. Lys then hit him promptly on the head, and as he writhed in pain on the chair it collapsed beneath him.

...A tray of anchovy pizza! Lys immediately hmfed.
Vol stared at the Bengal and asked, "Lys what is wrong with the pizza? You love pizza!"
"But not with anchovies!"
Patches looked at her like she was the strangest being ever, "But you're a Bengal."
"So?"
"Bengals are a type of cat" Lorelei added.
And Lisa finished the thought with a "and cats like fish!"
"You guys are so stereotypical!" Lys proclaimed, taking a piece of pizza and flinging the anchovies at everyone, before taking a bite.

A man in the shadows of trees in the nearby woods watched and listened to the strange spectacle, not quiet sure with how he should feel insulted, confused, or amused. It would be insulting that these are the new being he was sent to spy on and destroy once he got his objective. It was confusing that these strange new people seemed to have a lot of undiscovered power (and that the Bengal did not like anchovies). And the sight in itself is just amusing. Perhaps he should ignore this and continue on with his objection. It will probably be the best course of action; a fight over pizza toppings is really unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
The man leaves his post in the woods and heads away from his spot. He has to properly prepare before he joins these strange creatures, get what he needs to, and then promptly destroy them.

"Now," Lizzo said, "Would you all be interested in joining a Clan?"
"What's a Clan?" Asked Lisa.
"Well, Clans exist throughout Ivalice, the majority of them being quite small. Still, of those clans operating in the largest cities, many have earned a name for themselves through their accomplishments. They embark on missions, and missions are tasks people who need help that are put up at the pub. Missions can be anything from bounties to saving a town. Clans can get money and items from doing this. Who knows, doing missions may get you guys home..." Lizzo explained. "I have been thinking of making a Clan for a while now. My older brother had a Clan, but was assassinated by a different Clan. I want to avenge him... So I wanted to bring his old Clan up again. It was a proud Clan called: 'The Fire Lotuses'. What do you guys say? Feel free to decline, though."
