I thought that I'd post here, 'cause I don't want to make a big problem or anything, esp. by starting a new thread.
I'm so sorry for being away for so long.
But, I am going to have to be away for quite a while... I'll miss you guys...
I recently won a Gold Key and a Silver Key in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, for two short stories I wrote. It's really finally kickstarted me into writing seriously, something I've flirted with in the past.
It's really developed into a full-blown romance. In fact I should really be working on another story right now, since the deadline for the
Apprentice Writer is Tuesday. (If you want proof,
I'm the 6th listing on the 4th page)
If I win the Scholastic in my category, it's like the Intel of art and writing... If not this year, I'm damn going to try for a portfolio award next year.
And with SATs, APs, and making up math and sciences courses for college admits, I'm not going to be able to be on Gaia hardly at all. I'm aiming for an esoteric field, and there's really only a few good colleges that do it at all.
Lori-sama, I'll still do my best to get the graphics done. Not sure if they'll be photomanips or what.
Anyone, feel free to interact with my characters/move them along/interact with them/abuse them-just-not-too-horribly. Oz is fair game, though.
So, I'm sorry, and I'll really miss you all. You guys have been so incredible and so wonderful... I... wow, I'm talking about how I want to be an author here and I'm at a loss for words.
