"Me too!" Subira chirped, and bounced in place once to emphasize her joy in it. "It's like, a new day, a new start, a new chance to make things right... And the light chases away the darkness and nightmares and makes it like they were never there." When she said 'nightmares' her eyes flicked to Hazumi.
Still smiling peacefully, the vixen wagged her tail slowly, letting it brush against's the lavender male's paws comfortingly. Why did she feel so strongly about comforting him? Yes, it was in her nature to assist and try to make things better, but... This was a slightly different feeling. More... caring. Protective. She didn't want any harm to come to this male, and while she didn't like prodding under the radar for what was bugging him, she wanted so badly to make things better.

Hazumi watched the female excitedly. In a way she was allot like him. At times he could get hyper and excited just like her. With out the fast talking of course but that he didn't care about. It was like she knew what he was going through and when she mentioned the sun chasing the nightmares away he was even more surprised. "How did..." He looked down at her tail brushing against his paw. "How did you know I was having nightmares?"

Subira smiled to herself. Bingo. Smiling softly to the male, she scooted closer and nudged his cheek. "You just told me, silly~" She turned back to watch the sunrise. "I figured, since your pelt was unscathed, either you had argued with someone or it was nightmares. Usually, when someone argues, they mention the spat to the next fox they see. You were quiet. It was just a good guess, really~" Her tone was soft, gentle. Inside, the little empath was pleased to know what was bothering Hazumi, so she could know how to comfort him.
Wrapping her tail around Hazumi's tail loosely, she tilted her head sideways, almost as if to lay it on his shoulder but not doing so. "But like I said, the light chases away those horrible dreams, and a new day can begin brightly and happily."
((I actually imagined her voice a lot calmer than Champagnes, Suba is just worried about being to chattery~))

He blushed as she nudged his cheek. Of course because of his kind nature and the way he was he welcomed the gesture. He leaned in and nudged her back. It just seemed like the right thing to do. His eyes then opened widely at what she had said. She was good. He would have never figured out he told her unless she had said something. "Oh..." He blushed again as he felt her tail. "Thank you..." he looked at her. "not may foxes would be concerned with others like you are..."

Subira shrugged, pleased at the returned nudge. "It's in my nature, really. And I like you. Don't ask me why, I know we just met, but I like you. I can tell you're a really nice fox and you'll be a really good companion!" The vixen nodded like this was just common knowledge. To her, it kind of was. She always had a way with feelings... Though sometimes when she tried to help she would over-do it. Subira suddenly worried she was doing that now, over-comforting this fox... But he didn't seem to mind, so she pushed the worry from her mind.
"So..." Subira smiled at Hazumi. "If you want to talk about... you know, because that helps sometimes, to talk about what's bothering you, my ears are open~"

"You... you do? You like me?" Hazumi smiled at her. He couldn't believe it! A female he had just met and she liked him! He wanted to jump for joy. Never in his life had he just met a female that liked him. "Wow I cant believe it. Most of the time when I approach a female I get so excited and nervous I just cant stop talking. Then they give me this weird look like I should take a hike but I can never get hint and..." he blushed as he looked up at her. "I'm doing it now aren't i...?"

Subira fell over in a fit of giggles. And just minutes ago she was worried about talking too much herself! When she finally caught her breath and stopped giggling, she grinned up at Hazumi. "I think that's cute, actually!" Subira nodded to confirm this, then sat up. "Yes, I do like you. But like I said, I don't know you too well!" She smiled. "I guess I'll just have to hang around and get to know you better, huh?"

He watched as the female fell over and began to get a giggle fit. This was bad... because it was starting to make him giggle. He tried hard to suppress the urge but he couldn't. He started to giggle with her. When he stopped he blushed. "Thanks..." He smiled at her. "I... i want to get the chance to know you too..." His tail wagged with more excitement. "Um... you want to do something?"

Subira smiled, her tail wagging, too. "Hm... sure, but what?" As if to answer, her stomach growled and she laughed. "Hunting perhaps? You looked so distraught when you first approached, I know you had to have come straight here after waking up. So getting a bite to eat is probably the best idea!"
Grinning, the vixen jumped up on a rock by the pond and surveyed the area. She hadn't been around this place long, Hazumi probably knew it better than her. "Where to, Hazumi?"

"Hunting?" The more he thought about it the more his stomach rumbled. "Ah ha..." He gave a comical face. "Actually hunting sounds really good right now. I'm starved." He still was surprised at how she knew he was sad before and when he was living with his mother she often said it was good to get food into your stomach after a bad night. "Right... ummm... well it depends on what you like?" He looked at her. "Do you want fish? Deer? What are you hungry for?"

"Hmmm..." Subira had to think for a minute, she never really pre-decided what to hunt, just nabbed what was there. "Well, I've been swimming in this pond, so the fish are sure to be still frightened... And this time of morning is perfect for deer hunting!" Nodding and smiling, she jumped down off the rock and looked at the male. "Deer sound good?"

"Deer sounds great." She was right. After someone swimming in the lake the fish were more then likely still scared. Fishing would just be hard on them... not that he was a good fisher. In fact he was horrible at it. The last time he tried it he ended up falling into the river, getting wet and causing the fish to run for the hills. "Besides... I'm not much of a fisher any way..." He gave her a funny smile.

"Oh, I don't believe that! It just takes practice, that's all! Tell ya what, after we eat we can find a calm river and I'll teach you how to be a great fisher!" Beaming, the vixen trotted ahead and started sniffing out for deer as she prattled. "How long have you been around here, Hazumi? I'm fairly new to the area, do you know the best spots to find deer?"

Hazumi smiled as he beamed. Learning how be a good fisher sounded great. His tail wagged happily. This female was really nice and she seemed to want to get to know him better. That made him even more excited since he wanted to get the chance to know her more as well. "Ok! That sounds great. I cant wait to learn." He jumped as he followed her. "Oh right. Yeah I've lived here for years the deer like to say in this little pasture just over this hill but they don't like be vary much and often try to kick me or chase me...." He went on another one of his long fast talking sentences as he shook his head.

Subira let out a musical laugh. "Well, I'd try to kick and chase you too if you tried to eat me!" The vixen headed in the direction of the hill that Hazumi pointed out, crouching low as she topped it. Sure enough, a little cluster of deer were out grazing in the low light of the rising sun. Yum.
"Looks like we found breakfast~" Subira whispered.
