So far I've only read Inkheart and am trying to get my hands, or eyes rather on the second book. There is going to be a trilogy and a movie. blaugh I heard that Brendan Fraser might play Mo. He did the reading for the book tape and Cornelia loved it, I read in an article.

I don't think that he would be a good actor for that part. But, what would I know.

I can't decide which Cornelia Funke book is my favorite!!! I loved both Inkspell and Inkheart. They were the ones who got me into Cornelia Funke in the first place. I couldn't put Theif Lord down, though. It was so interesting and a great read! I was a little dissapointed with Dragon Rider. I was expecting another great Funke book but I didn't like it as much as her others. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book. I was just expecting more.

I've read all of those listed except for Inkspell, I have it but I havent gotten around to reading it yet.
I found Dragon Rider a bit child-ish but I still enjoyed it.
...but...Ohlord....The Theif Lord was amazing...I considered it one of my favorite books till the ending...I despised the ending...it made me go...
"NOOOOO, WHY? WHY? WHY MUST YOU RUIN IT?!"
...ever since I've held a grudge with that book...

Phantomette Owe. Em. Gee. !!!
Inkheart is going to be a movie?! I hope they don't ruin it though... I hope they don't destroy the plotline either. I've lately learned the movies are a BIG disappointment to the books. stressed

golden_eyed_mystery WesaAda The Inkheart Trilogy rules all. I agree with Phantomette, that movie had better be good! Trilogy? I only know of two: Inkheart and Inkspell. As for the movie, I hope it's at least half as good as the book. When is it coming out? Inkdeath will be the last book in the trilogy. Inkspell totally set the book up. xp

I finally finished inkheart and I must admit it was really entertaining. I always wanted to write or read a book like that and I'm glad that Cornelia Funke was the author to attempt because I believe she succeeded.

McFlyenstein heart Loved Inkheart and Inkspell, is Inkdeath out yet? Want to see the movie, hope they don't ruin it. When is it going to be out? That's what I was wondering... actually more towards Inkdeath. If anyone knows when that will be coming out, I'd really love it if someone could tell me! ^^ I hope it comes out soon... I need some more captivating reading.

For me it's more of a tie between The Thief Lord and Inkheart. I love the characters, also the plot is extremely intriguing, or at least I found it to be smile

I'm reading Inkspell now and I love it. I can't wait to finish it. And Brendan Fraser is set to play Mo, Paul Betaney(chaucer in A Knight's Tale) for Dustfinger, Andy Serkis as Capricorn, and Helen Mirran as Elinor. Inkspell is actually dedicated to Brendan Fraser.

In my opinion it's InkSpell, I can't wait for her new book to come out, I heard that it called InkBlood. I wasn't all that impressed with Theif Lord.
