[[s'ok. I don't know a lot about it either! I took one marketing class and I don't remember anything from it >.>

I was wondering were Renoko was. I was going to ask if she was going to be in this RP.... I just kept on forgetting.]]

Malik sighed. He was going to have to do this group project together with someone eventually. He scanned the room again, everyone had partners except for him and the girl in front of him. He knew he would be asked to join her, so to make things less complicated he took the initiative. "You want to partner up?" he asked Lerena. He had looked at the questions but hadn't answered any of them yet.

Vinard looked at Yuugi. Seto Kaiba asked him first. How very strange, did the two know each other? Seto was that millionaire kids games guy right? Whatever...... like he had any real talent. He probably got his money and fame from his daddy or something. Some girl asked the both of them. He had to ask fast! "Yuugi, can I join your group as well? You need one more person," he'd push himself into this group if he had to. He was going to bring Yuugi down, it didn't matter who else had to be taken down with him.

Akiko followed the students and the teacher around the ceramics studio. The teacher showed them every part to the studio- from the kiln room to the wheels, from the drying room to the area with all the tools.

"I'm going to let everyone out early today since the clay is not at the right consistency today. Our first project is going to be very simple. Pinch pots. We will make three test pinch pots, just so you can get the feel of the technique. Keep in mind things like the shape and the foot. For extra credit, if you want to attempt the wheel you may. If enough students are interested I will show a demonstration. Until Wednsday, think about giving a theme to your pinch pots. Research! See the history of ceramics through out ancient times through modern times. Don't just make a pinch pot- that is boring. So that is your assignment- think about themes and research! Class is dismissed," she said to the class.

Akiko grabbed her stuff and left the studio. She felt inspired, oh she had so many ideas! When she left the building she started walking to the student life building again. Oh no, that's right, they were still probably there. Hm. She looked around. There was a grassy area with trees and benches. A little spot to sit outside. She sat on the grass and began to jot down ideas for her assignment. Her teacher was right, pinch pots are boring. She couldn't wait to learn other more exciting ways to use ceramics. Akiko laid back and enjoyed the nice autumn day.

((You can tell I suck at in-class posts.))

Lerena looked at the rest of the room, then at Malik. "Sure." she said, unenthusiastic. It wasn't that she hated him. She just completely sucked at group projects. How was she supposed to communicate with different people when she couldn't even communicate with a math equation? "I've already written down my answers." explained Lerena bluntly.

Yuugi still hadn't forgiven him for the way he treated everyone. He definitely intended to treat them that way, but whatever. He needed a group so he'd have to deal with it. "Sure..." said Yuugi. "I think we should try doing a project on a card game business." he explained.

"That isn't actually a bad idea." said Renoko. "To widen our variety of merchandise, why don't we work on selling multiple card games?"

"My name is Mrs. Peacock, by the way. You're free to leave when you've finished discussing your groups." she remarked. "These notes contain the syllabus, composed mostly of group activity and note-taking. There will be a little evaluation from your group members based on your activity and contribution, so try your best."

Great... she was already done. He really didn't want to just sit there and tell her all of his answers. But they had to make it seem like they were doing the assignment. He decided to go over the questions quickly just to get it over with, "I choose this class because I needed the credits and it was the most interesting out of all the sociology classes. For the second question I believe it's both- some traits are hard wired into people and others are learned. And last I believe we dream because our brains can't fully stop thinking and that as we dream we have no control over our though process." He didn't go into details with her but he would write down a little more detail on his paper. He wasn't sure if he was right for number two and three, he just took educated guesses. "If you don't want to tell me out loud your answers then I can just read them from your paper," he said plainly- just looking to finish the assignment and leave. She didn't seemed enthused about it, working with him or with anyone. He didn't care- just wanted to do the assignment and that's it.

How stupid, children's card games. He was wasting his talent on a stupid idea. He would had made a terrific business. A theater center for those to perform and seek advice and classes from him. But instead he was creating a business for babies. He went with it, "Sounds great to me. Why don't we assign some of the roles now?" he said looking at the syllabus the teacher handed out. "We need someone to research old products and come up with a new one, someone to design the product and it's functionality, someone to market and advertise, and someone to sell the idea- present it and be the speaker for it. Well, I'm certainly not afraid to speak to people so I will take that part unless anybody is against it," Vinard said. Vinard was always someone to take the lead and he tend to not like to share the position so he started assigning positions to people, "Yuugi, it was your idea so I assume you know a lot about the business. You should be research. Kaiba, you already have a business so you should be marketing. And you..... um.... girl..... you can design the product since you look..... creative. The designer and research have to work a lot together. Just to help our group, we should all come up with some ideas for the product for next class." It was ashamed Vinard was such an a*****e, otherwise he would be a good leader. But he was doing this out of spite, not to help the group at all. "Does anybody have any questions or anything? If not I think we can all leave- I think we know what we all have to do." he said.

[[How many people can Vinard piss off in one shot?]]

"Calculus....... I see calculus......." a voice near Akiko said in a weak voice.

Akiko's eyes widened and her body stiffened from fear. It was a warm autumn day and yet her body went cold as if it was 30 degrees outside. She put her book down slowly and looked around. She saw nothing. So she looked over her shoulder to see a semi transparent girl sitting underneath the tree that was close to her. This was the strongest essence ghost she had felt since she moved here. Akiko stared at her... not saying anything at the moment.

The ghost looked over at Akiko since she could sense her. "I see calculus. I see a lot of things now. I see light slowed down and energy waves. But..... it isn't in my book. Can't you see it too?" she said not really making sense at all.

Some ghosts spoke strange things to her- she figured they could 'see' and sense things people normally couldn't. She never really asked them about it. "You know you are dead.... right?" she whispered to her. Akiko was just happy no one was around at the moment otherwise she would look crazy.

"That's a strange thing to say," she ghost girl said as she turned her head more toward Akiko to reveal the other half of her face was not there. It looked like someone had taken a shot gun to her head. From the angle she was at before, Akiko could not see it.

Akiko spun herself back around and buried her face in her hands. She breathed heavy to try to keep herself from getting sick or from outright crying. She should be used to this by now, but she was still frightened by them. She brought her knees and brought her elbows to her knees. Maybe she would go away...... maybe she would just wander off just like some did.

[[What I am going to have Vinard do is once the class leaves he is going to go up to the teacher and tell her that Yuugi forced himself into their group and refuses to take any role and that he is afraid he isn't going to do anything for the group blah blah blah. Maybe later in the day after Yuugi and Akiko have met each other and she is gone the teacher can approach Yuugi and tell him she is disappointed and that she will be watching him during this whole semester. AKA she doesn't trust him and now he will have to work even harder to get a good grade. I figured that would be enough to piss him off and have Atemu go after Vinard. I WAS going to have him take care of Vinard on Wed. but I think him dying soon would be more interesting. *evil face*]]

((HAHA! That's hilarious! XD I approve. Vinard is worth killing anyway.))

Lerena found him awkward to work with, but he was kind enough to join her of his own accord, so she put forth some effort to do her half of the assignment. "I chose this class out of interest and for my minor. I'm particularly interested in the concept of dreams and motives. Secondly, personality traits form based on the environment, experiences, and talents of each individual. Some traits are inherited, but most are entirely dependent on the resources and treatment they receive as a child. Finally, we dream to cope, collect, and organize ideas in our brain. Dreams remind me of my goals, fears, and desires. For some, dreams may be meaningless, for others dreams may signify tragedy or despair. It really varies depending on the individual." As she spoke, her voice was low but understandable enough for Malik. Mostly she read a little off her paper, but she added some s**t to show conversational effort. After class, she would go to her dorm for a little resting, possibly to meet her roommate.

"On the contrary, designing this type of merchandise isn't my specialty, thus there would be some noticeable flaws. Unfortunately, I will have to assign roles based on everyone's best talents; given the situation, I believe it is best to work on the job we're best at for the best grade achievable. Kaiba, I believe you should design the product, because you have some experience in designing technology already; the duel disk. Yuugi, I trust you to handle research quite well. I'll take on marketing since I'm good at advertising." Renoko spoke flawlessly and intellectually, but she honestly ignored Vinard. She left him with his role just to keep the man satisfied. "I suggest incorporating your virtual reality system into a smaller device more suitable for the public. The design is really up to you." suggested Renoko. Everyone should be satisfied with their roles. She just switched hers with Kaiba.

[[^__^. I'm going to end the classes now]]

Malik listened to her but wasn't really interested, as he was sure she wasn't all that interested in his answers. He propped his head up with his hand as he listened and stared blankly. His consciousness drifted until she spoke about dream. Hmf, being reminded of fears, as if his mind had to do that for him. "Do you think we dream of tragedies and despair because we can''t let go of pain or because it is what our hearts truly desire?" he said darkly to pick at her brain and, if lucky, freak her out a little. He didn't know Lerena, but he knew most girls weren't very tolerable.

"Class is over, just make sure to give me your papers before you leave. Read chapter one in your books for Wednesday," Prof. Laver called out to the class. The students jumped out of their seats and approached the teacher to give them their paper. And just as quickly they left.

Malik got up from his seat after the rush, not bothering to wait for Lerena's answer. He had written down his answers quickly prior. He grabbed his bag and approached the teacher, giving him his paper. As he passed Lerena to exit he slowed down and looked at her- now giving her the chance to answer him. After class he would have to go to his dorm and unpack the rest of his things. He had brought his things prior to classes starting since his only way of transportation was his bike and Isis wasn't around to help him move. Didn't matter, he didn't have a lot to begin with.

Vinard tried his hardest not to scrunch his nose in anger. Another one, another one who doubts him and his genius. If he had it his way, he would tell her where her place was. But he wouldn't, it would ruin his chances of making Yuugi somewhat trust him. He wasn't sure how much the boy trusted him. Probably enough. Enough to follow through with his plans. "Well then, I guess everything is settled then. For next class we will talk about what we brain stormed. I mean after all, everyone has to put forth their ideas on this project," he said smiling though it turned his stomach. "I'm just going to write down some notes for myself and some ideas here even though class is dismissed. I'm horribly forgetful honestly. I guess I'll see you all on Wednesday," Vinard said. He then sat in his seat and took out his notebook- writing down all of the ideas they had and the roles they had to fulfill. He just had to wait, he had to wait until everyone was gone. Then he would have the teacher to himself.

Akiko lowered her hands but didn't look back. Not yet. She waited a while, then looked back. The ghost was gone. Akiko started to feel warm and couldn't sense the girl anymore. She sighed.... how very strange. What a gruesome death that must have been. Akiko got up and picked her stuff up. She stayed in the general area but moved to a picnic table. Akiko looked up to see students now walking about and filling up the campus. Classes must have let out. She still had an hour about until her next class. She left out her notebook with her ceramic ideas but brought out a deck of normal playing cards. She shuffled them a few times then began to lay them out to play solitaire golf. It was fun and passed the time. Once it was set up she began to play.

((I figure I'll have Renoko put somewhat of a dent in Vinard's plans, but in a reasonable amount of time so Vinard can still follow through with his evil scheme. Of course, if we have the teacher approach Yuugi within this hour, just coincidentally find him talking to Akiko, then it will be before Renoko voices her concerns. Atemu can go through the rest of the day searching for Vinard to make him die. Then Renoko can go, "Just as planned! ~cackle cackle~"))

"A mixture of both. Sometimes it's one or the other, but mostly there are signs of either in one dream. I'll see you next class. I have to head to my dorm." She walked up to hand her paper to the teacher, then a copy of her accommodations for her to discuss with the professor later at her convenience. It had a note saying she would speak to him at four that afternoon right before work.

Lerena then headed straight for her dorm, pulling out her key and entering. She would be living on campus for the rest of the semester. She plopped down on the couch. Her laptop was on the coffee table so she propped it on top of one leg to check up on Facebook. Nothing much going on anywhere on the web she checked. Lerena turned off her laptop. Who was her roommate? It was killing her.

Renoko approached the teacher after class. "There is something very important I need to discuss with you. Do you think I could talk to you about it after my lunch break?" Her eyes held a sort of sweetness and caring nature to them. With a smile, she stood confidently awaiting her professor's reply. Vinard set her off badly, but he failed to take into account one thing; how nervous Yuugi seemed when Vinard asked to join their group. He seemed hesitant, unsure, almost as if it was a forced reply which he uttered to keep the peace. The reply he gave her was nervousness and discomfort; however, it seemed almost immediately that his mood switched. Yuugi said nothing to signal he agreed to take on his role. In fact, he suggested something and remained quiet as Vinard and herself took authority. The expression on Kaiba's face was stoic, but she was well aware of his social skills.

"If something is bothering you then feel free to talk to me about it. I will be in my office until three PM, so come by any time before then."

"I'll be by at about one. I'm concerned about a potential bully victim, and I think it is necessary to report it, even if I'm wrong. You see, I think bullying is a very serious problem."

"You're right, it is." said Phoenix. "I thank you for contributing to keeping this a friendly environment for my students. However, if the suspected victim does not confess to it or is unaware of the symptoms he or she is getting bullied, then there is nothing I can do to help. Keep this in mind." She watched as Renoko left, then walked over to Vinard. "Is there something you wish to talk to me about? I notice you're still here."

Yuugi walked by, noticing a girl playing cards at a picnic table. It was that girl from earlier. He sat down at her table and watched Akiko play solitaire until he had gotten her attention. "Hello? I noticed you earlier, and...I was wondering. About that obnoxious guy from earlier..." What was his name? Oh, right, Vinard. "Vinard forced himself into my group for my Business Management class. I didn't have the heart to decline his request, but I figure you know him better than I do. How bad is he? I mean, he apologized to me about what happened earlier, but I get this vibe he's trying to manipulate me." He was not kidding. Akiko seemed to have a good grasp on who he was as a person. Though Yuugi wanted to believe Vinard, his past experiences made him stronger and more knowledgeable.

[[No that's fine- that's more fun >:3. I was planning for the teacher to approach Yuugi in the late after noon early evening. So Renoko has plenty of time. I guess Vinard overheard.... but he is so pompous that he probably won't think that Renoko figured it out. So Vinard is going to tell the teacher, then after Akiko and every else goes to class the teacher can nag at Yuugi, then after that Renoko can tell the teacher about Vinard? Should Vinard over hear Renoko and the teacher and be out to get her? Which would end up failing because Atemu will catch him before he does anything. lol planning planning.... ^____^]]

Malik felt a little disappointed. He would have thought she would either shy away from the question or try to sugar coat it. It wasn't that he was teasing her or picking on her, it was just the way he was. He was a lot more calmer now-a-days, now that he was free, but he would always be a little dark and twisted inside. Who isn't? Malik left the class room but before going to his dorm he went to a vending machine to get a bottle of water. He wasn't quite hungry yet, just thirsty. Probably after his next class he would grab something to eat. Malik walked back to his dorm. When registering for housing, he was too late to get any of the male dorms. However, there were still some unisex dorms available. He took it, what did it matter to him? He would probably spend most of his time in his room anyway- man or woman they should be grateful he was practically giving them the living room. With key in hand, Malik went to unlock the door.... but it was already unlocked. Hm. His roommate must be already in.

He opened the door, opening into the living area. And there on the couch was the same girl in the parking lot, the same girl from his class. He wasn't sure if this was a good thing or bad thing. Really, sharing housing with anybody wasn't exactly his ideal thought. Malik walked in and looked around. "That's three times I saw you today. I'm starting to think that you are stalking me," he said to her. Malik, wasn't very good at joking- honestly his sense of humor was almost non-existent. And with his normal tone of voice it didn't even come out as a joke. Was he joking? He wasn't serious and he didn't care if she was in fact. Did he just say it to break the awkwardness he felt? He knew this was a possibility, to share housing with a female, after all this was unisex dorms. But he didn't realize how awkward it would make him feel.

Akiko didn't move at first because she felt a sudden rush of coldness bite her skin. She thought the ghost girl was back. However someone sat in front of her. They were alive, good. She flipped over one last card before she looked up at him. She looked surprise at first, because someone decided to sit with her, but she still smiled anyway. "Hi," she greeted him back then listened. She thought for a moment, putting her fingers to her mouth and looking up a little. Guy from earlier..... he saw her. "Oh!" she said remembering, "Yea hey.... I remember you I think.... Vinard was pissy fitting with you and your buddy." She caught a glimpse of them before she left- hard to forget someone with spiky hair like that. "Battleship guy," she said pointing at him with a smile remembering seeing the game at their table. She listened to him more only managing to groan when she heard what happened to him. "Eeek, I feel bad for you," she said at first taking the cards that were out and bringing them all together to form a deck. "As you saw, Vinard is head of the drama club. Only reason I know about him and the club is because they have a constant hate fest with the club I just joined- the music club. Older member's warned me about him and his group. The reason the group is bad to begin with IS because of him. Manipulating you? Probably- he's known for doing that. I'm only going off of stories.... but I mean, my cousin has been a part of the music group for two years and he isn't really one to lie," she explained.

It was true, her cousin has been going to this college for two years now- he was a fellow musician like her. Even though they lived apart, he and his parents would visit when they could- they kept in touch ever since they were young. She trusted her family over the snob. "If he didn't like you, which, he doesn't like most people, why would he want to join your group? How bad did you and your friend piss him off? What did you guys say?"

Vinard watched as Renoko left, she was the last student other then himself. He stood up, he was so good at fooling teachers. He had gotten out of numerous assignments because of his acting. Teachers were the easiest to fool...... besides family members. "Well, yea.... I did," he said acting meekly as if he was nervous to tell her. "It's just, Yuugi forced himself into my group.... which I really don't mind. But, when we were assigning roles for our group, everything we offered to him he didn't want to do. I really hate to say such things because I thought he was a nice guy- but, this class means a lot to me and I don't want to have to go down because of someone else. I am willing to pick up his slack- I just don't want this to affect my other group members and bring them down," he said sounding completely true and concerned. "I don't know if this was the right thing to do. I mean, maybe he will do the work?" he added. This was just the beginning, he was going to get on the teacher's good side and punish Yuugi through out the whole semester. This is what he deserved for doubting him. Which reminded him..... he had to remember that girl that was in his group. Renoko. Yea her, he wasn't going to let her get away either. But he couldn't complain about everyone right now. He could get her back another way. Give him time, he could think of something.

((That sounds good to me. I have to get to Algebra O___O ~storms out like a ninja~))

Lerena snickered at his comment. "Maybe my soul is." she suggested. She was good at joking around, but it wasn't something she often told people. Mostly she just lurked around obscure places on the Internet awaiting the chance for her to strike. "I'm surprised you're my roommate. This will make things awkward." explained Lerena. "Hopefully I won't be too much of a bother. It's not rare for me to come off as rather loud." Why was she still talking? Well, she supposed it was good to keep her roommate notified of her quirks and behavior. First she really wanted to know about him though. Would he trust her?

"All I did was leave the scene, but my friend Jounouchi was incredibly pissed off by him. My guess is he finds me an amusing target to humiliate. I've often been a target of bullying. As for Jounouchi, he said nothing but the truth to Vinard, which I suppose was too much for him." He paused to think. "Jounouchi called him a snob and told him to quit moving things around obnoxiously. I mean, he did say we'd be fine with moving if he wasn't so rude. Vinard didn't even utter as much as a 'please' to either of us." This girl was nice, very friendly. He sort of enjoyed her company already. "Oh, right, my name...it's Yuugi." He was actually completely oblivious to most social cues because of how often people seemed to deceive him. It was a wonder he suspected Vinard in the first place.

"You must be in the drama club." commented Phoenix bluntly. She took theater as a Sophomore in college, so she was aware of the signs. His acting was quite believable and it surpassed her current skills. "I understand you take your extracurricular activities seriously and with pride, but don't make the mistake of thinking I'm easy to deceive. This isn't high school anymore so many professors will not fall for your act. As far as I could tell, you took the initiative to take control of your group, which is an admirable trait when used correctly." Phoenix paused before picking up her books and a school bag. "I will look into the matter, but do not use your skills to manipulate me. It will not work. I have the authority to kick you out if necessary." She was very blunt about the matter, having no tolerance for anyone's bullshit. Outside of class she was well-known for watching sappy dramas, but she was quite skilled in hiding this information from her students.

[[ugh.... Algebra.... hate....
Sucks too, I used to be good at math, then college came along and destroyed everything.]]

Malik smirked a little when she commented on his poor joke. She seemed rather different from other girls. She was not squeamish or goodie-two-shoes. He brought his bag in and put it next to his door. "You knew as much as I did that sharing a room with the opposite sex was a possibility. Shouldn't be that much of a shock," he said assuming- but it was safe to say. He took a chug of his water and put it on the table. "As long as you don't go into my room you'll be fine," he said at first. Hm. That was giving her too much leniency. "Or anything obviously obnoxious- like leave your hair in the bath tub or leave milk out of the fridge to spoil," he added thinking of things that would gross him out. He should have just went into his room right then and there but he didn't. He wasn't interested in her but he was at the same time. His paranoia was what spiked his curiosity. If he was going to be living in the same dorm as someone he wanted to gain as much intel as possible. So he knew what he was in for. If she was just some regular girl minding her own business, then he would have nothing to fear. "Where are you from?" he said walking over to the kitchen area just to look around. He acted as if this was a hostage situation and what has been taken from him was security. He wanted answers.

Vinard watch her, trying not to glare. What a ******** b***h this woman was. "I understand, but I assure you, I am not lying," he said. He would make sure through out this semester that his accusations would turn to be true- through whatever means necessary. He got up and said, "Thank you for looking into the matter," he said and with that he left. Dumb b***h, as long as he got what he wanted he didn't care. He could even report her to the Dean if he wanted. Show her who is boss.

"Vinard.... likes to belittle anyone who isn't kissing his a** twenty four seven," she said rolling her eyes knowing it to be true. "Hm... I can relate. I got bullied to as a kid, well, until I finally punched the guy in the face. Then he left me alone!" she said almost proud of it. "Well, ok, that was back in 4th grade..... heh....." she ended with a fading chuckle. "Anyway..... you got yourself into a situation. The nicer he acts the more worried I would be. He's not even nice to his 'fans'," Akiko said making the quotation mark gesture with her fingers. "Who are the other two in your group? As long as they are on your side you should be ok. Maybe you can try to have him taken out of your group?" she suggested. If that was her, she would not want Vinard anywhere near her. Especially since he especially had it out for the music group. "Oh, haha yea, my name is Akiko," she said smiling.

((I used to be good at math...in my past life. Actually, I don't think I was ever good at math. I've always pretty much sucked at it. I was tutored in math at 5, 6, 11/12/13, and now 18. ~head-desk~ Phoenix was supposed to be an extra and she writes herself. XP It doesn't matter how small my character is. They're going to write themselves. When I'm posting for Kaiba, the same thing happens.

Secondly, if Malik still needs a job, I recommend the adult bookstore. >:3 ~wants to torture Lerena more~

EDIT: ******** double-posted. >.<))

"I've never shared a room with the opposite sex. I creep them out often enough that most wish to steer clear of me. My brother, however, thought it would be funny to room me with a man, probably because he's tired of being the only male in the house and he wants some man to man conversation. He has the annoy genes of a 6-year old on helium, so I really doubt anyone but a rock would enjoy his company. That said, I use the public showers. For both medical and psychological reasons, I'm required to shower in an open public area."

As she explained fact after pointless fact, she took in Malik's appearance. Why, she didn't know, but she did. The man was rather attractive and attentive to his appearance. Lerena had flawlessly remembered to put the milk back in the refrigerator over a million times every year since developing the strength to properly hold a jug of milk. "It's easy to gross me out. You're safe." remarked Lerena. Well, to some degree. There were things about her that were horribly off-balance, such as her love for gore.

"I'm actually pretty obnoxious, if you were paying any attention to how I talked to Kirsty." pointed out Lerena. "But, why would I be interested in your room? I have my own, plus this entire living room to keep me feeling roomy and cozy. Eventually we'll have to talk to each other, but it doesn't have to be an immediate thing. Finally, I"m from the United States. Where are you from?" She answered his comments with some of her own, prepared to answer any and all questions he would ask.

"I'm actually not that bad, if you can get past my high-pitched laugh. And yea, most girls have the 'high-pitched laughter' disease."

".......................Don't go into my room either." remarked Lerena as an afterthought. There were things in there she didn't want him to see. It was implied she also didn't want him going through her underwear drawer, but obviously he wouldn't do that. She was actually worried Malik was a prude. She opened her laptop to stare at the wallpaper to cope with this awkward thought. Her wallpaper was of a witch commonly known as Beatrice. Although it had nothing to do with literature, she was sort of aware of Dante's Inferno. It had been awhile since she studied it so hopefully she remembered correctly.

If Malik was interested in her, obviously he would ask more questions. Otherwise, it would be time for her to ask questions of her own. She was afraid of him right now, just because she wasn't sure if he'd judge her. Perhaps the slight uncomfortableness showed. She was never aware of which emotions she had present in her eyes. "So, uh, tell me about yourself..." said Lerena, starting to feel self-conscious.

She was triumphant. In reality, she used to be just like him, but she quickly found that life didn't work according to the wishes of one person. Being hated by everyone was not a reasonable price to pay for achieving everything she could ever desire. She flipped through some papers. It was time to search campus for that Mutou kid. Unfortunately, she didn't have access to Yuugi's schedule, as it was confidential. Instead of just watching Yuugi, perhaps a few visits to the drama club would be sufficient in evaluating Vinard's behavior. She was well aware of their rivalry with the music club, but she figured it was a friendly rivalry. Such little attention being paid to little details can be quite costly. Phoenix wandered campus, casually strolling around for Yuugi's whereabouts. On a pleasant day like this, he has to be outside taking advantage of the fresh air.

He took it in stride, keeping quiet to himself yet remaining confident he could handle any task assigned to him. Something about Vinard disgusted him. It was a similar vibe he got from Siegfried, only worse. A stroke of dumb luck sent him in the direction of Yuugi and Akiko's table. He figured he'd stop by to voice a few concerns, make arrangements for their project, and trash talk the only person whose ego was bigger than his; however, in contrast, his ego was not easily broken for he started out with nothing.

"Yuugi, I do not want that insignificant slime in our group. He is an embarrassment. I can read through his act as if his self-induced ego is easy to shatter. Something must be done about this 'Vinard'. Surely you agree? The tyrant does not realize that I will not take orders from people like him." He much preferred the role Renoko gave him, which ironically enough was more tolerable than marketing.

He looked at Akiko, finally acknowledging they were speaking about the twit in the first place. "Aside from Vinard and I, there is a girl in our group called Renoko." How did he know that? Well, he once received an email from her, the contents of which he managed to forget. It surprised him he even remembered the girl. She seemed different though. She wasn't fawning over him, which he seemed to remember being the bare footing of what he received. It was sent to his junk mail which he periodically checked out of boredom and a need for amusement.

[[God help you and you have to take college algebra- I officially gave up when they introduced imaginary numbers. That's right IMAGINARY NUMBERS. ******** numbers. Do you know what you use them for? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE IMAGINARY D:<

I was thinking of how to get Malik into an adult bookstore.... that may be the way to go. Today, I can have him try to look for a job. Maybe Isis is pushing for him to get one. He could shoot for the Library but they have nothing available, someone can over hear Malik and offer a job at the same adult book store Lerena works at (aka, the boss man/lady). Besides books, is it um..... an adult store in general? I only need to know this so I know how shocked to make Malik when he walks in- besides seeing Lerena there as well XD

Also, at one point, I would like to do something where a bunch of places get robbed- including the adult bookstore and the cafe. For the adult bookstore, should there be two guys? One for Lerena to take care of and one for Malik? This would happen like..... later in the week or something. I have ideas for the gang that is doing the robberies. ]]

Malik listened carefully to her as if studying her. He wasn't worried about being creeped out- as he felt that he could do much worse. "Is your brother on campus?" he asked first. This was important to him- families tend to be close with one another. He didn't need some over protective d**k head threatening him because of misconstrued thoughts. He could take care of him, but would that make living in this dorm harder if he killed her brother? Did it matter? He smiled and gave a single low chuckle when she joked about how annoying he was- just so she wouldn't see his thoughts threw his face- if she could, if she could guess. He couldn't help but ask, "Medical reason to shower in a public area? Wouldn't it be more cleanlier to use a private shower?" Malik wasn't going to use the public showers most likely. He didn't like most people, he didn't want to shower with them either. Though if he ever had to he would.

He looked away for a moment to get a mug and a tea bag he had supplied earlier in the week. He filled the mug with water and then put it in the microwave to boil it quickly. "That girl needs to keep her mouth shut," he said in a hiss. In a way- he was defending Lerena, only because she really didn't annoy him- Kirsty did. But he didn't say that to her. "I don't know, but I'm just giving you fair warning," he said and paused as his water finished boiling in the microwave. He took it out and dipped the tea bag in it- then let it sit. He took the milk out and waited for the tea to extract from the bag completely. He continued, "just some people cannot control their curiosity. They find themselves doing things they normally wouldn't. I believe there is a saying about curiosity." He looked at her darkly- he didn't want anyone in his room. Not only did he not like to share, nor did he normally trust people, but those were his things- he was very possessive. For now, he ignored the 'having to speak with each other' comment. He would do as he pleased.

"I won't," he said simply about going into her room. No need to. He took the tea bag out and poured a splash of milk into his tea, stirring it around with a spoon. He looked at it as he spoke, "I'm from Egypt." He didn't think she was from the State, he figured she was a native from Japan. "When did you arrive in Japan? Why did you come to this college?" he asked more questions. He looked up at her when she asked him to tell about himself. "I'm just a plain boring guy. I like riding my motorcycle and reading. I have a sister and... a brother," he said but hesitated on the brother part. Odion was like a brother- she didn't need to know otherwise. "I'm afraid I'm really not that entertaining- you'll grow bored of me quite easily," he said to sound off putting. He was obviously holding back information from her. He didn't trust her enough to tell her personal things. And really, she was only doing it to make small talk. If she really did care, she would pry. Though he personally doubted she would.

Akiko swung her head in the direction of the new voice. Another student, obviously he knew of Yuugi. She just listened to get the story. She never heard of Renoko- she couldn't tell if they just met her or if they knew her from the past. She thought the new guy looked familiar, but wasn't quite sure who he was, "I agree, don't let him stay in your group. I'm sure you can all pull together and do the work with three people. Don't even go to him- go to the teacher and tell her about him. It may be awkward but if you try to kick Vinard out of the group by yourself things may get ugly for everyone in the group." The more she heard about this guy the more she hated him. Vinard was such an a** hat it wasn't even funny anymore. She started to feel bad for Yuugi- he really didn't do anything to Vinard yet he was getting the royal treatment from him.

"Hey, Yuugi, where did your friend go? The one you were with in the Solar Lounge? You should let him know what's going on. I'm surprise he isn't going after him. I guess Vinard is just getting lazy now-a-days," she said. It was more logical for him to go after Yuugi's friend, but she figured it was more convenient for him to attack someone in his class instead of go looking for the other one. Akiko shuffled the cards that were still in her hand- force of habit and it was fun. She did it normally, then went to a more fancy shuffle without even looking down at it.

((I suck at basic college math ;______; I'm epic fail.

Your idea for Lerena's boss to overhear Malik at the library is ingenious. XD It's an adult store in general.

Two guys and a robbery. Sounds interesting.))

"My brother is on campus, but he is absolutely no threat to anything but your refrigerator. Secondly, it's more of a psychological thing, but my psychological stability can sometimes affect my health. Enough of that." As he talked and talked, she began to suspect his story didn't fit in as 'plain' and 'boring'. "I arrived in Japan about seven years ago. I came to this college for my degree in English. Sorry if you expected something abnormal." she remarked.

"You know, guys who like motorcycles tend to be sort of rebellious. Are you rebellious?" Lerena asked. "Why exactly can't I go into your room if you're so dull and boring? Afraid I'll faint from the boringness of your furniture arrangement?" She was sarcastic and blunt about it. "Tell me more about yourself." requested Lerena.

"That isn't enough. I want to know more about the type of person you are. This is of the utmost importance to my well-being, because I do not get along with prudes, judgmental assholes, religious people, authority figures, slobs, cheerleaders, optimistic viewpoints, social butterflies, nag queens, drama kings, spoiled brats, football players, elitists, gang members, drug addicts, overly-righteous people, spotlight-hoggers, whiny bitches, solicitors, and I'm sure there are more..." She let her voice trail off dramatically.

"By the WAY, I decide who's boring and who isn't, because I'm the person who thinks with this brain, understood? You can't decide my opinion of you if you're holding something back." Lerena added as an afterthought.

"I intend on speaking with the professor sometime this afternoon, preferably with the other members of my group." explained Kaiba. For a moment, he listened to what Akiko said. "If Vinard has any brainpower, he'd probably go for the strongest first. Jounouchi is a bit rash, one of the reasons he's an awful duelist. All he does is rely on dumb luck. However, he definitely needs to be careful if Vinard is powerful enough to bring us all down. Heh, he won't harm me at all. If he even tries, I can just hire a lawyer. Things won't make it that far, because he has no power over me." Even with his big ego, he was worried about Vinard ruining his solid straight A+s. Kaiba was well-known for being a genius. Why slack off just because of one dweeb? Oh, no, he'd be victorious.

[[hurrrr *awesome face* oh the things he will see OwO. ♫Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collections complete?♫ XDXDXD oh so wrong it's wonderful.]]

Malik was glad to hear he wasn't a threat.... though it was interesting she said that. Did she figure it out? Supposedly, it was a rather odd thing to ask after all. "Point taken, we'll leave it at that," he said finding it unnecessary to push the topic of the shower or her psychological stability. Her story was rather plan but believable- he put it past him. He held the mug to his mouth and sipped slightly, staring at her and her comment about him being rebellious. He lowered the mug and said, "Perhaps. Some may say that. You'll just have to see for yourself I suppose." With that he smirked and lowered the mug completely to the table waiting for it to cool. However the smirk disappeared when she brought up his room. He was serious about that. "Because I said not to. If you wish for this living arrangement to be pleasant for you I suggest to listen to me. I don't have to explain myself," he hissed at her.

The scowl left his face as he thought about things to tell her- things that were unimportant enough to let her know. Before he answered he listened to her long list of those she did not get along with. Wasn't that bad, he could equate to that. "I don't care for the same people- they are a waste of space," he said then continued, "I left Egypt and my home to travel. I felt too restricted at home. We weren't in the most modern of areas of the country. You may not like it or find it lame but I do actually like learning. Try living a life where all you see is the same old thing. You'll eventually yearn to learn what is outside your little world." Malik looked away but then looked at her with the corner of his eyes. He felt like he already started to say too much.

"My sister has a house in Domino she comes to every so often. She may seem kind but she is a huge know-it-all. I doubt she will visit me here," he added. He looked back at her and narrowed his eyes- however he wasn't scowling or glaring. She demanded respect from him- a good trait but if she pushed it he wouldn't stand for it. At least she didn't seem like a wimp.

Akiko looked at Kaiba who seemed to answer her question to Yuugi. Whatever. She was not very interested in Kaiba. She supposed he was ok, but she could tell he had an ego. "Duelist?" she said finding his sentence a bit strange. She instantly though fencing at first, second she thought of the card game duel monsters. "Don't confuse power with sneaky. He's simply that. He finds his strength through others who follow him like dumb sheep....... " she said then paused and mumbled, "aw.... I like sheep....." She looked back at Kaiba and asked, "I'm sorry, you're name again was....?" She knew of Seto Kaiba, but never actually saw a picture of him. She didn't know.

((I think it would be interesting for Lerena's dorm to have a spirit, just to make sure Malik and Lerena don't wind up killing each other. After reading this post, you'll probably agree. xD I was angry when I wrote this post. Very very angry.))

Lerena snorted. "I see you don't trust me. Well, that's fine I guess. If I were a person, I wouldn't trust myself either. However, curiosity killed the cat, but the answer revived it. I don't do well with secrets being kept from me. If you led the life I did, you wouldn't either." Her voice was dark and evil-sounding, but it declined into bitterness and then shame. Just recalling the moment her life was nearly lost because of a secret, her face twisted in a sense of anguish. He had the right not to tell her and to decide who goes into his room and who doesn't. Rooms were private sanctuaries for an individual. What right did she have to trespass on his privacy and requests?

"How am I supposed to respect your wishes if you don't explain yourself? Tell me anything, but don't tell me I can't go in there because you 'said so'. And with that threat, good sir, something must be established between us. This arrangement is already not pleasant for me, because I have a roommate that doesn't allow me to go into his room, yet won't tell me why. Do you know what that says about your room? There's no legit reason for me not to go in there if I absolutely need to and absolutely must." She paused, thinking for a moment. This comment would likely piss him off. How could she reason with this argument, calm him down or reduce the blow of his response?

"Let's put it this way. I have no right to go into your room if you tell me not to, but how would you deal with a situation where you are told almost immediately not to do something? Wouldn't that make you feel uncomfortable to be restricted with no good reason? Suppose you just met your boss, for the sake of this conversation, and he immediately tells you that he'll pay you whatever he feels like paying you because he 'feels' like it, not because he's obligated to treat everyone fairly. What if he says using the bathroom on the job will get you fired, no matter how hard you've been working?

Your time to get paid rolls around. You've been working diligently for...say, three months. He decides not to pay you for your efforts, because you used the bathroom two times in one work day. Applying the same logic to this conversation, you don't want me in your room when we barely know each other. If I opened the door and went in there, you'd immediately make my life here miserable, right? We've only just met each other and you abruptly told me something that could have been said when we're better acquainted.

The boss being a complete douche bag is not what I'm saying here. I'm saying this: you'd have no idea what to expect for your payment, you receive nothing, so now you can't pay rent. How would you feel to be punished just for using the bathroom? The argument I'm making overall is you shouldn't just tell me not to go into your room as soon as the conversation begins. You should tell the person about yourself, learn about each other, then discuss what shouldn't be done.
"

She felt like a hard-a** telling him how to talk to people. Her social skills were so horrible she really didn't have the right. But she continued talking without paying any attention to the words spilling from her mouth.

"From what I gather, we already don't seem to be on good terms. I'm just a picky person. I hate being told what to do, and without good reason, I am liable to disobey. Had the conversation remained on a get-to-know-each-other basis, I really wouldn't have been opposed to learning what I shouldn't do, and I'd be more open to listening to you without being like this, as I'm sure I am currently on your bad side, if we are anything like each other."

Deep within her, she wondered...wondered if he would be able to stand her as she was. "I have a sister too. Older by two years." remarked Lerena, closing her eyes. "As for my personality, I'm normally an agreeable person, though I'm anti-social. My living arrangements, however, are a different story. I always need to know who I'm living with and whether I can trust them. Right now, I do not trust you. Only people I can trust are allowed into my room. And the reason I don't trust you is..........." Her voice broke off and she felt a huge chill. Her eyes widened, her arms shook, and she breathed deeply for a few moments. "That sound..." whispered Lerena vaguely.

Footsteps. They echoed through her mind every single time she was alone. She was never alone, for they haunted her. Repeatedly. The sins of her past always haunted her, the people she killed seemed to follow her everywhere, taunting her, teasing her, and driving her to madness. She winced. What was she doing? Just talking to him like this...why? Did it matter? Yes, because she wanted to know her roommate, she wanted him to trust her, know her, and become closer to her. She wanted this because she needed a roommate who would be there for her, something that Kirsty's grandmother wouldn't allow. That woman was Satan's best friend, always seeking to make her live in miserable conditions. If the sins she committed were weighted against her soul, what would happen to her?

Even now she could hear footsteps dancing around behind her, feel them whispering things in her ear, and it was increasingly annoying. She was diagnosed with an extreme case of schizophrenia since she was 8 years old, but it got worse as she got older. Eventually the medications weren't enough to stabilize her so they took her off them about a week ago. Now they were coming back at full blast. "Sorry...really. If you're annoyed with me, it's too late to switch dorms. It would be a waste of your money to choose somewhere else to live..."

She sat there listening to the voices taunt her, biting her lip to keep from revealing too much about herself. That's when she lost it.

"Hello, new victim. You look lovely, and by lovely, I mean inherently easy to manipulate."

This voice was different from the others. She got up and moved over to the wall, placing a hand to her forehead. The voice repeated itself over and over. She whirled around, seeing a spirit appear in front of her. Her face became pale. "No..." said Lerena. Was this a hallucination? "Not again...please, no...Just go away. Please..." pleaded Lerena.

The spirit looked at Malik, as if pretending to exist, but Lerena was still curious. Was this an actual spirit or her own hallucination? "Do you exist?" she asked the spirit. It looked offended. It took a pen off the coffee table and flung it at her. "OWWWWWWW!" said Lerena angrily. "Just leave me alone!"

"Leave me alone, leave me alone! They all say that!" the woman remarked. Her left wrist looked black, which probably meant she slit her wrist and committed suicide. "Do you realize how frustrating it is to be told to go away! Each person has a different reason for moving out of this dorm. One, they graduated, two, they're ******** afraid of me, three, I get on their nerves, four, I'm DEAD, or five, they can't stand their ROOMMATE. Six, they're never in their dorm, seven, they get expelled, eight, they can't pay rent, nine, they got abused by their roommate, ten, they were afraid of their roommate, eleven, their roommate killed themselves...Oh, and twelve, they committed a murder in here."

"You're...real?" asked Lerena. Her eyes widened. "That's even worse!"

"Oh, that's WORSE? Great. I got a schizophrenic! Don't just stand there yelling at me and wanting me to go away. I can't. My soul is DAMNED. Do you not get that? I'm STUCK here!"

Lerena whimpered. "I want to move..." she said.

"I've been stuck here for the past 300 years and the majority of that time no one was willing to even associate with me. Didn't you imply you weren't interested in his room?" Her voice was soft, but eerie. "Humans. Always being contradictory. Make up your mind, really. If you don't care, don't argue about it like a 5-year old."

"Yea, but..." Lerena objected.

"You've honestly never seen a spirit before? Honestly? After everything you've been through, the one thing that has never happened to you is seeing a spirit?! Are you sure?"

"Oh, the alternative! I am dreaming! Dreaming! I must wake up now..."

"I can't believe this. How were you brought up, brat?! If I was your mother, I would have taught you to respect everything you possibly can, which means spirits, thank you."

"Excuse me for being afraid of spirits! My friend's grandmother was killed by one!"

"I was killed by a living person!" said the spirit. "I think that's far more devastating!"

"But your wrist..."

"Back then, there weren't laws to check for signs of murder. He framed it to look like a suicide. The morons."

"Who killed you?" asked Lerena, curious.

"An early ancestor of the Natsuki Clan. Kihihihi. But they're all dead now, I hear."

"You're creepy....wait, what?!"

"Hahahahahaha! You're amusing~."

"You must be related to my friend Annemarie. What's your last name?"

"Kihihihihihi. Not telling. I'm dead, so I no longer have a last name. Besides, I've forgotten over the 125 years."

"You lied to me! You said you died 300 years ago!"

The spirit laughed. "I can't really remember. I was horrible at math and your memory tends to slip the longer you're dead. Although, I am greatly well-versed in history and the art of ********. I mostly know about History, because my last victim was a History major. He actually put up with me until he got killed in a car accident."

"Who are you?! Seriously?! And were you really killed?!"

"I was killed by Carmela's great great grandfather. Remember Carmela?"

"Okay, okay, I'll shut up about it! Just stop talking!" pleaded Lerena.

"Well, how's your grandmother lately? Is she doing well?"

"I said shut up...!!!" said Lerena.

"Why? You're the only one I can actually taunt, since I know nothing about this man."

"Do you really care if we're arguing or are you just pissy from loneliness?"

"Both." answered the spirit. "I don't want anyone else being murdered in this room."

"I wasn't supposed to even room here. My brother just put me in a random dorm and the Dean refused to let me change."

"How unfortunate. The current Dean isn't really on my good side. She purposely sticks people who won't get along into this room. She thinks it's funny to see people suffer in living arrangements they don't like. Though, this one was very bad. You didn't really do anything to piss her off, it was her granddaughter who arranged for you to be in here.""

"How?"

"Not everyone can get a dorm on campus. Some people can't even get in. But that was overlooked even though you could commute quite easily. Rather, Kirsty is pretty good at manipulating people. I don't know what your brother told you, but he didn't pick that number at random. He couldn't have, because the Dean made sure all the other rooms were taken before you could make arrangements to grab a dorm. And you know why that succeeded? Because this is one of the most popular colleges in Japan."

"Oh, you're good at this." said Lerena. "That's bullshit...isn't it?"

"Really, it's not." explained the spirit. "The Dean and I go way back. She still comes in here just to insult me. Her favorite joke is, 'You're so dead, you can be smelled all the way from China'. She taunts me with information, trying to get me on her side, and then she makes sure two complete polar opposites are roomed together. The current Dean attended this college when your grandfather roomed here. Thankfully she just moved out before he could kill her."

"Which one?"

"Your mother's father."

"He hated her?"

"Loathed her." said the spirit. "I'm Stephanie Nakahara."

"Like the great great great grandmother of Caroline?" Lerena asked.

"Pardon?" asked Stephanie. "So my family line continues? That's good." She stopped for a moment and looked at Malik again. "You two better get along, because the moment I see a dead corpse in here is the moment I go batshit insane."

Lerena pouted. "You're not my mother..."

"No? But I've met her. Tsk tsk, bad child..."

"You have not met my mother!"

"I believe she roomed here when she was pregnant with you."

"Quit. spreading. lies. to my roommate."

"Oh, is he listening?" said Stephanie.

"I'm quizzing you later to make sure your story adds up. In the meantime, let me go back to defending my point."

She glared at Lerena. "You have your father's persistence. You have to know everything, don't you?"

"And you have Caroline's peace-making skills. Your point?"

"I am not arguing with you."

"Good. Now go away. My roommate and I have to learn about each other."

"If I go away, you could wind up dead in an instant, especially given your luck with men."

"Up your a**, or I'll call an exorcist."

"Exorcists tend to keep away evil spirits. I'm not evil." she remarked. "Nor am I a demon possessing you."

"Blah blah blah. You're still a spirit, and I think you were sent by Satan to haunt me."

She face-palmed. "Structure isn't everything, Lerena."

"How do you know my name?!" Lerena asked.

"I know a pretty good bit already from Darla."

"How?! Who are you?!"

"If you don't want to be so easy to manipulate, take better care of your stuff, and make sure a ghost can't read your diary."

"I'll buy a voice-activated diary then." remarked Lerena bluntly. "Now go away."

"If you aren't careful, karma will bite your a**, witch." remarked the ghost.

"I don't need that word shoved down my throat."

"Why, because you're obviously polite and respectful?"

"All I'm asking is for a satisfactory reason not to ******** go in there!"

"Do you know the reason I died? Back when I was alive, women had very little rights. They were seen as objects and property, nothing more. Be grateful you're still alive and a man wouldn't get away with killing you. I was murdered and no one cared. No one. For someone loaded with secrets, I'm surprised you're prying so much into one's privacy."

"How much do you know about me?" Lerena asked suspiciously.

"I've read your entire diary, plus a little of your blog."

"Then you know why I'm like this, so shove it, b***h."

"Haven't you learned anything?"

"Ghosts of your friend's dead relatives: annoying and naggy. Lesson learned. For the last time, go away so we can continue our discussion."

"You have a knack for pissing people off, do you not, Lerena? Remember the last time you pissed someone off? You nearly lost your life."

"That is none of your business, 'Stephanie'. Beat it."

"I don't know. I have to entertain myself somehow."

"No, you don't. You're dead. Now go away."

"I could go away, but then you'd waste time arguing with your roommate over stupid s**t."

Lerena sighed. "No. Seriously. Just GO away." she ordered.

"You know what has always bothered me? Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

She stood there, as if deep in thought. "I don't know." said Lerena. "Damn you! Now I have to know that too!" She twitched, realizing what Stephanie was trying to do. She was trying to make her forget about her interest in Malik's room and the fact he was lying about who he was. "Don't ******** distract me!"

"Why not? Weren't you about to have a psychotic episode?"

"No."

"Obviously going that batshit insane over seeing me means you've had an experience with hallucinations."

"No, I just expect dead people to STAY dead."

Stephanie snorted. "I'd rather BE dead." she retorted darkly. "Instead I'm stuck here until my purpose in this world is gone."

"Bullshit! That's no excuse to annoy the ******** out of me."

"Oh, I'm sorry, you can't do something so you throw a hissy fit?"

"You don't get it, Stephanie. You don't get it. I'm not asking these questions to be an annoying dipshit. I'm asking these questions so I can re-build my trust in normal people. I can't live with someone I don't trust, especially considering who knows what secrets they'd be keeping. Normal people don't keep me out of their room without a good reason, which is normally one of the following; I'm psychotic, I'm depressing, I'm a REALIST and people just can't handle the fact that I tell the truth like it is. They don't like my friends, they don't like my mother, they don't like me because my family is ******** in the head, they also don't like me in their room because I'm not like them. Well, ******** off. I'm not normal, I never will be. Yes, I'm psychotic, but I think I deserve a ******** break after everything I've gone through!"

"Calm down. I'm just trying to keep you in a good mood."

"Well, you're doing a poor job."

"Exactly...what did happen?"

"I'm batshit crazy, but I'm still sane enough to know that placing my trust in a dead person is ******** retarded." Lerena took her seat on the couch. "I can't believe I'm forced to live with a spirit and a guy more anti-social than I am. How do I entertain myself?!" She was ******** pissed, and it was her fault. She always had to do what she wanted. She couldn't take orders anymore. If she wanted to know something, she'd ******** get the answer. No one tells her what to do, no one tells her where she can and can't go. She will do whatever she ******** pleases, whether this man likes it or not. If she finds it necessary to go into his room, then she'll do so; however, chances are she wouldn't go in there more than once. It wasn't really an interest of hers, but now that she suspected him of hiding something from her, she was dying of curiosity. "Stephanie, get me a soda."

"What?!"

"You heard me. Spirits should be good for something, such as getting me sodas."

"You...I can't ******** take this anymore! You ******** b***h, I'm leaving!" She vanished.

"Well, I'm leaving too." said Lerena, standing up and brushing her hair out. "When I return, the Dean will probably be in the hospital. Yea, another thing that might be good for you to know. I'm a power whore. I do what I want, when I want, where I want, and how I want. No one tells me what to do. Though, really, some people have reached a status where they can. Those people are allowed into my room. Secondly, it's easy to get on my good side, just as long as you don't get in my way."

She walked past him to get a soda from the fridge. "Another thing, I can be extremely argumentative, sometimes to entertain myself, other times just to get my way. I don't ******** around. I don't make small talk. I get what I want, and shut up. If I want to know someone better, I talk to them, then shut up. It's really quite easy. Oh, ******** am so ******** angry." She stomped the floor in a fit of rage. "This is the worst room ever. So, yea, if you hear about the Dean being hospitalized, that was me. ********, ******** b***h...rooming me in here....WITH A SPIRIT, NO LESS." Her words spat from her mouth in massive bitterness.

"But I don't blame you. I can be quite irritating to be acquainted with, probably why I haven't had a boyfriend for eight years." She finished the soda and put it in the recycle bin. "So, if I've already pissed you off, the two of us might as well find outlets to calm ourselves down, then become better acquainted when I'm not suffering from a massive rage episode, which is part of my condition. When I'm angry, it's hard for me to calm down." She looked at him, rather expecting him to take out a knife and start attacking her. She expected him to completely lash out at her, judge her, and then start making her life a living Hell. It already was.

She was hoping to become good friends with Malik, but as far as she knew, the man's name was still a mystery to her, yet she wouldn't just leave without his permission. If he was curious about her, then perhaps she'd stay. But that was unlikely. If he was anything like her, he was ready to kill the nearest b***h. "Just...I don't mean to piss you off." said Lerena softly. "This is just the way I am. I get pissed over stupid s**t, I snap over petty things, but believe me, that's what I get for being female."

Her perfect vision of having a good roommate was shattered. "Chances are I will never find a reason to step into your room, but for the record, if I'm left in the dark, I find a way out of it, because I lived in the dark, and I don't like it. We should both start over; this b***h kitty of a roommate would like a second chance to make a good impression. I feel that we got off to a bad start." Lerena rummaged through her school bag for her key. This would give Malik a chance to respond, presumably with anger and frustration at his b***h of a roommate.

Yuugi was mostly quiet as Kaiba answered Akiko's questions with more confidence than he ever had. "His name is Seto Kaiba." he explained. "By duelist, Kaiba means the card game Duel Monsters. I sometimes play it with Jounouchi."
