Personality: Peaceful, talented, and wise, Seo is also stricken with an unknown and incurable illness that could take his life at any moment. Perhaps as a result, he prefers to lead a life that is laden with pleasures and new experiences. Constantly indulging in new things, bits of culture brought to him from other countries by members of his branch clans, he is aware that he might die any moment and that, currently, he is without an heir. While he hopes to have one of his own, he is also aware of the ongoing competition amongst the other demon clans to earn his favor that one of them might be named the new Leader should he die early and his line fail. In morbid amusement, he encourages this internal rivalry so long as it does not become too violent.

Having been without parents since the age of 13, he is still a little immature at times, though not naive. He is unafraid to indulge in alcohol and the long pipe, to shamelessly flirt with his (usually willing) followers, and basically do whatever he feels might be fun at any given time...though not always to extremes. Despite his loose, carefree nature, there is a side of him that holds fiercely to what his parents left him, and he cares in his own fashion deeply for all of the followers of his family and the Branch/Associated Clans in the Tachibana-Hakushaku Alliance. He is intensely loyal to them and the country that his family has long served, and in those rare moments when his hyper-competent, dangerously-serious side shows itself it is usually in defense of one of these two things he holds dear.

Much to his dismay, however, his weakened physical state often leaves him vulnerable, and his endurance is not what it should be. Prolonged bouts of physical stress can leave him sickly and bedridden for days with exhaustion. He is also prone to vomiting unhealthy amounts of blood when he becomes excited or is stricken in the stomach...or just because.

Bio: Born into the Tachibana-Hakushaku Clan's main branch, Seo was a sickly child whom his family knew at an early age would likely not live long enough to become the head of their clan. Inheriting the ability to wield Chidori and use the clan's unique skills, however, his abilities were undeniably prodigal. Before his family could have an heir to replace him, however, his parents were tragically killed by a rival demonic clan in the Kyushu Region. Thrust suddenly into the role of Clan Leader, Seo lead the union of clans in a retaliation hunt of the assassins at age 13, neck-and-neck with their rival Shimazu Clan, until they had cornered them fleeing towards the mainland. Together with his allies, the Tachibana beat the Shimazu to the goal and slaughtered the offending clan to the last man. However, the effort left the young Clan Head gravely ill, and the Clan's medical experts determined that whatever unknown illness plagued him, it was both incurable and eventually, would be terminal. He was not expected to reach his 18th Birthday...

Now 19 (by demon reckoning), he continues to endure despite his often-crippling illness, and any chilling remnants or mental harm done by the events of his parents assassination appear to be in the past. Youthful and peaceful, he has grown into a fairly wise leader for the clan and, when healthy enough to fight, undoubtedly one of their most powerful since the days of Muneshige and Dosetsu. And the loyalty of his ancestors has found its way into his heart...their role as defenders of Kyushu under the previous Emperor continuing now in spite of his death, their loyalty given to the new Shogun Motonari Mori for the betterment of the country. Headquartered in Northeastern Kyushu, they move now to the mainland for a while in order to follow through on the requests of their new Shogun and to oppose their longtime rivals, the Shimazu, whose loyalties to the Shogun have been forgotten in lieu of their alliance with another, more secret organization...

Mangekyo - By removing the ofuda from his right eye, Seo can easily follow and predict the movements of enemies to an impossible degree, which some say borders on precognition. His body is mostly capable of maintaining and reacting at the necessary pace required to handle this perception, but due to his illness, it will cause his body to swiftly deteriorate and eventually, incapacitate him, using it.

Personality: Happy, cheerful, and interested in being a "Boss" of the Taihaku clan... not the leader of the whole group, but one of the heads of the clan that would serve directly under the main leader. This interest tends to affect her judgement in everyday situations... not always for the better.
Bio: A demon created from the collected desires of humans, Fina didn't really have any kind of shape or form for a long time, existing primarily as a sort of quasi-real spirit that just floated there... until, one day, a very small girl with a gift happened to see her floating there. Her belief, in turn, convinced the dark scientists and researchers there, and Fina came fully into existence then, just in time to be caught, experimented on, and subject to various unpleasant researches. It didn't last, however; in a raid on the facility, the Taihaku clan rescued her, and Fina joined them out of gratitude. Thus, her loyalty to the leader isn't just that of the leader, but a very personal loyalty as well.

Personality: is rather rough mannered, and more of a serious member to contrast some of the more light-hearted members of the Demon clan. Loyal, sharp tounged, and quick to anger, yet quick to calm makes him an inspiring leader on the battlefield. Despite this though, he's far from unnapproachable, being rather friendly to others, and appropriately formal with those above him. After all, it's a little unsightly for the leader of a clan to be-WHERE THE HELL IS MY RIGHT SHOE YOU PHLEBIANS?!!
Bio: It's not really known how long the Viral clan has been around. The only known factor was that they tended to have a rather negative impact on wherever they went. Mostly shortages, as the clan moved about, and took over areas that weren't so very well populated, ruining the balance they originally maintained. Even if they slaughtered the previous residents, the ecosystem didn't quite manage to keep up with a new group, and thus, the Viral clan would move about again.

However, one day, the Viral clan was seeked out, and promised the clan a more permanent place of residence. One that didn't die off suddenly, and could maintain their group. The original leader of the clan seemed against it, for he had lived many years as the head. However, Rorek had other plans, thinking they could finally find a home, and challenged the head to a fight. Being younger, yet feeling he had a deeper purpose than the head, Rorek eventually emerged Victorius, offering to spare the life of the former head, and to cast him out of the pack if he wanted to be on his own that badly.
However, despite the show-y way to take over the Viral clan, Rorek became more of a joke than the previous, leader. He had strength, but lacked the sort of personality that the last one had, ruling over with an Iron fist. He was no slouch in fighting, but being a rather kind-hearted demon was a vast shift in how the clan worked, and thus, no one wanted to challenge him for leadership to disturb the peace. Rorek serves the Main clan with a fierce loyalty, and razor-sharp skills, though he finds himself at the butt of some of the other clans jokes and such. Despite this, his loyalty to the clan, and their sickly leader is widely known, and he would never fathom betrayal. As such, he got the Tachibana Crest Tattoo placed on the back of his neck to symbolize that his life now belonged to them.

Demonic Abilities:

Weapons of a Predator-For one to have be a part of the Viral Clan requires strength above all else. As such, one must train their body hard, in order to become the strongest. As a product of this training, Viral Demon's physical Strikes are much stronger than Most normal demons. Physical attacks do 50% more damage, but Magic attacks in general do more damage to the Viral Clan.

Downwind-Being of a beast clan, the Viral clan is very in touch with the earth, and rather sensitive to the wind. As such, despite a trade-off of Wind weakness in particular, their senses allow them to sense enemies and unfamiliar scents, making it harder to catch them off Guard, and allows them an enchanced form of perception in combat. (Alertness, Sharp Student, and Apt. Pupil effect).

Power of the Viral Head-Being the head of the Viral clan requires even more strength than the usual demon, and as such, you must tear your way to the top, your claws cleaving through any defense that can get in your way. As such, Rorek's Physical strikes Pierce Physical Resistances.

Personality: Gyuki is patient and talks very little, and has even earned nicknames based on his snail's pace when making decisions. However, he is also hard to anger and keeps the clan's best interests at heart, so when he does decide on a path it's often found to be the correct one. The one thing he actually treasures most is the clan, and if someone weak or unstable were to attempt to take over, most know Gyuki would be the first they had to go through. Even though he is quiet much of the time, it only reflects that he may be scheming behind the mask.
Bio: Gyuki was once a human named Umewakamaru, whose father was a government official, albeit one of low status. His father died when he was a child though, and unable to care for him on her own, his mother sent him to a monastary to become a monk at only the age of seven. After several years, he began to stand out due to his extraordinary talent, and neared the completion of his training, when word of his mother falling ill reached him. Despite the future as a great holy man laid out before him, Umewakamaru threw it all away to search for his mother immediately, setting off on a journey. After three days of journeying without sleep, he came to the foot of what was once known as Mt. Nejireme in Shiga Prefecture, and was met upon the road by two ladies in waiting. Upon introducing themselves, they explained they served his mother, and that she was resting in an inn on the mountain, hoping vainly for her son. Umewakamaru was delighted at this news, and rushed up the mountain to find the inn, never noticing the two female companions had disappeared far behind him. Eventually dusk set, and the forest long known for being infested with Demons came alive...then Gyuki, lord of the mountain appeared. The great bull-headed Demon mocked the traveler with a ferocious laugh, revealing that the two ladies had been his servants, and when the Demon learned of such a powerful monk in training nearby he sent them to fetch Umewakamaru so he might devour him and his power. Finally, he revealed that he had long past consumed a woman who had been traveling towards the monastery Umewakamaru came from, searching for her son before her illness consumed her; that woman was undoubtedly his mother.

Enraged and cornered, Umewakamaru cursed the Demon that had done this, and then he cursed the earth and it's forest that had deceived him. Finally, he cursed the Gods themselves, and casting aside all but his anger and rage his body transformed into that of a Demon's, with which he slew the large Oni and master of the mountain. Then, still consumed by hatred, his body naturally summoned the minions of the mountain, and under their new leader the humans nearby were hunted and slaughtered for offering their assistance to the monster who had taken everything of Umewakamaru's. Eventually, terror fell over the province, and they began referring to Umewakamaru himself as Gyuki, the great Demon of Shiga Prefecture. His anger and resentment was not quelled however, until another great Demon came along, and challenged the Gyuki Clan to a battle...and there, Gyuki fell in combat. With nothing left to offer but his life, Gyuki waited for his execution, but after seeing his anger finally waining the then head of the Tachibana-Hakushaku alliance stayed his blade, and gave Gyuki an offer; he would die in two days time, or he would ally himself to the clan. In the end, Gyuki's mind returned to him after years of blind bloodlust, and after patiently waiting two days in order to consider his decision...he offered himself to the services of the clan.

Since then, Gyuki has acted after deep consideration every time he took an action, and theirs have become a race known for contemplation, instead of a fiery temper. For saving him from himself, and offering him a family when his own was taken away, Gyuki pledged himself to the service of the Tachibana-Hakushaku alliance, but he's willing to protect that stability even if it means harming one of their one for the sake of the greater group. For one who sometimes takes years to make the greatest decisions however, many Demons offer their respect, and as such few consider his actions misguided when he takes them...even if they are hard to understand at the time. Despite his no nonsense lifestyle, Gyuki does not become angry simply because another is hotblooded, nor does he intervene in every fight; he simply watches and considers for the Clan's sake, hoping to offer advice when the time comes.

Personality: Xian can be a bit too serious sometimes while she's trying to win the affection of the Head Clan. Besides that she's normally calm and relaxed and relatively kind to the other clans as she sees them as an extension of her pack.
Bio: For the most part most of her life was average. Until one night while Xian was on a mission a rival of the Furude assaulted their temporary camp. Although they put up a good fight the members of the Furude clan were out numbered and were inevitable all put down and she was left without her clan. For some time she spent searching for someone to pledge her life to, detesting the very idea of being a lone wolf. Eventually through some feet of divine intervention she eventually stumbled upon the Tachibana-Hakushaku Clan. Without a second thought She pledged her life to them and had the Tattoo of the Clan placed over her heart to show who her heart and life belonged to.

Personality: Nora has a short fuse but does his best to keep himself from snapping at every little thing. Though he does come off as rude and insensitive at times he really does care about his friends and will fight to the bitter end for them. But.. he's also kind of an idiot.
Bio: Nora was born into a branch of Dog demons, the hellhound branch. For many years he was raised and trained at the family home and wasn't allowed to interact with the human world. Once they were certain he had a good grip on his demonic powers his family sent him to work under the head of the Taihaku clan. They were allied with the Main branch so they sent who they viewed as the best, even though he wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the box. Ever since Nora has tried his best to serve under Seo.. and avoid the occasional mess up.

Personality: Jin prefers fellow feline demons and will take them under her wing. She applies this to her clan and acts as more of a big sister figure than a mother, by watching after them, helping them when they need it and cuddling with the cubs in warm places. Jin is happiest when sunbathing and napping and is usually a calm and cool headed woman. However there is a reason she is head of her clan and her wrath is not one to be elicited. The Lioness sports a temper that is easily awoken if one of her pride is injured or threatened and her rage is not quelled until blood has been spilled. She has little tolerance for anyone in her clan acting out and is quick to deal with the problem at hand.
Bio: The Raion clan was always kept small and well maintained, the lions and lionesses produced in the clan trained to be killing machines and saved for times of war or dire need. The number of lionesses far outnumbered that of the males, 1 male to every 5 females were kept in the clan at a time to prevent unwanted violence in the matrilinear society. Outwardly the Raions appeared to be successful, their ability to hunt down their targets and to work together to destroy their enemies gained them a name; on the inside however, they were failing – many of the older demons either dying or losing their desire to procreate and continue their species and their young became preoccupied with struggles for power and falling into frivolous behavior. Jin found the situation with her clan to be unsatisfying and disgraceful and set her mind to becoming the head of her clan and resolving the situation. As heir to the position of leader the situation was simple, she had to challenge her mother for the position. The battle was bloody and hard won, her mother's experience had been far greater than Jin's, but what Jin lacked in experience she made up for in strength and strategy. With her new title came an upheaval in the clan, struggles for power were greater in the first month after Jin took power and trust was thing. That first month weighed heavily on the new clan leader's heart and something snapped in her; Jin put herself forward and through struggles and some violence regained control of her clan, she was not a woman to be messed with. Her intentions became clear then to the small and broken family, they were going to become great again, but they needed help. And like a blessing the Tachibana-Hakushaku clan offered her an alliance, her clan could lean upon them while they rebuilt themselves to their former glory in exchange for lending the alliance their power. Determined to keep the Raion clan alive, Jin pledged herself into service for the alliance; the tattoo she wore would forever bind them in ink and flesh and with the alliance her clan began to thrive again.

Personality: Stubbornly loyal and brash, Kei is the type to plan out a strategy and then completely disregard it in the battlefield because he saw a teammate who needed his help.
