Carthusia shook her head. Really, anything that happened that ended up being 'wrong' would work out in their favor anyway - it could be construed as the bumbling foolery of young lovers. People coo over that sort of thing. She could always hit up Calder for more romance tips in the meantime, stating she'd found someone just to see how he'd react. If people loved romance as much as Calder said they did, then this would be the perfect opportunity to test the theory. "I've met Riley, actually. Demon, tall, purple, no mouth. She and I auditioned to be Oogie Boogie in the Christmas play. Neither one of us got the part but... not like I really wanted it anyway." That was an outright lie, but she had to keep her insecurities to a minimum if she hoped to survive in the school. Little by little, she was slowly figuring things out.
She saw his adorable pout and clicked her tongue at him. "It'll only take me a few days, but you might have to wear an outfit twice in the same month. It won't kill you~" Carthusia giggled. Livi was truly fun to mess with, but in a friendly way. She wanted to be on the good side of as many people as she could muster, if at all possible.
Pride patted his hand gently. "From what I heard, it was pretty dangerous for all parties involved... Though I don't know where I supposedly got all this power. From what I can tell, it's gone." She looked at her hands curiously, as if the strange power she used to have emanated from her palms. "It worries me. I feel as if something bad is going to happen sometime soon. And it may have something to do with us - the Avarice. But... that could just be my imagination."

The description was right so he nodded gently. He wasn't sure if he was fond of that demon or not, but he kept such things to himself. "That's the one. She is a very... interesting ghoul. You tried out? And i missed it? I was there trying out for Jack. I didn't get it either, which was a shame, but I suppose I wasn't meant for it. Though, there couldn't have been a better looking Jack than me." He would admit he was a bit of a vain creature; it was in his blood to be after all. "Why not Sally? I would have figured that role would have suited you better than wearing a bag over yourself." He was a bit confused but people did what they wanted to do, right? Though it seemed odd for a girl to want to do... but there was a few female Jacks so..
"Well, no it shouldn't kill me. That'd be rather dramatic. I have enough to be comfortable... I suppose." Rubbing the back of his neck a bit, he smirked a bit. It wasn't like his closets weren't almost full but he was wondering if he should start investing in hats. Hats were a good fashion statement and maybe would help him blend in with other colors better. Stupid acid green hair. "But I shall try my best to behave."
"Maybe it's still around, just hiding or... waiting?" It seemed odd that Pride, who were classified as the powerhouses of the Avarice, would suddenly lose their innate powers, so he couldn't help but wonder if there was something more going on, like she was suggesting. "It is a concern... I wish I have some idea as to what could be going on. But for now, we had best do everything we can to prepare. Just in case it's not just your imagination. Seems pretty reasonable to me."

Livi had tried out for the play too? Clearly they had no real taste if the demons didn't get the parts they were destined for. Oh well. One less thing she had to worry about, really, no matter how much she was channeling Barth at the thought. "I definitely agree with you there, Livi. No one could have been a more handsome Jack than you." She said so with a smile, crossing her arms in thought. "At least now, we don't have to worry about memorizing lines and costumes and whatnot. Simply getting the dye out of my hair was a nightmare in and of itself..." Raking a hand through her long blond locks, she sighed. "Sometimes I wonder if I should get it cut... but that will be for another time."
Her mind swirled with thoughts and planning, but she would leave it be for now. They had more important things to worry about - getting this whole dating thing to work! "Well, if something happens, then I know I can count on you, right Livi?" She shifted her weight onto her other hip and smiled. "In the meantime, I'll be gussying myself up to 'impress you'."
She walked up to the demon known as Envy and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "That's practice~" And with that, she was out the door, busying going over her well-laid plans.
