Daniel nodded his head in agreement. "That probably would be a good thing to do first." he told her. He followed her closely just not too close and glanced around to make sure they were safe from anything that could pop out.
"I guess..you would know..if the stallion/mare was easy to talk to, someone who likes you for who you are, always there for you, will go to the ends of the earth for you, someone you can't be separated from and someone who loves you" he said as he listed a few signs that could help anyone determine if whoever they meet was special. He frowns a bit "I have yet to meet someone like that" he told her.

Amitola just smiled and kept walking until she heard a noise in the trees around them. If out of instinct she gathered closely hear the stallion Daniel, accidentally bumping into him. "Um .. sorry..." she whispered shyly while trying to hide her fear.
"Oh I see...well I don't think I've met anyone like that before either," she said trying to think back to everyone she had met and what they we're like, "Then again your the first stallion I've ever met," she said with a slight laugh. "Or the only one who didn't leave at the sight of all my colors." With that final remark she checked to see if that noise she had heard was gone.

Daniel blinked as she gathered close to him at the sound. "its okay...that's why I said I wouldn't mind keeping you company" he told her. Ears flicking in the direction she heard the noise. "trust..me I'll keep you safe and protect you" he informed her.
"i'm sure you will meet someone like that someday" he told her. "well..I'm flattered to know i'm the first stallion you've met" he said with a smile at her. "I think your colors are very pretty,, they suit you very well" he told her with another smile.

Amitola just smiled though she was completed freaked out by the sound. She looked around and heard it again she was sure she heard it in the bush to her left, so she sped up her pace a bit. "You promise...?" she said with fear showing in voice. Since she wasn't completely sure of his trust me deal.
"Well I'm sure you will too. The universe is funny about how they lead you to meet people who are special to you," she said with a smile. She wasn't sure if that was true or not but all the fairytales seemed to say that. So it must be true she decided. Amitola's face flushed a little red as he complimented her colors, "Thank you ... though if your sweet on all mares like this. How come they aren't all over you?" she said not being to be rude but she just out of curiousity. Well that and she didn't want him to see her red face, it was embarrassing.

Daniel nodded his head " I promise, no harm will come to you" he told her as they continued their exploration. His ears remained turned in the direct she heard the sound.
"actually you would be the first one that I've spent time with" he admitted, he had briefly talked to Xing but didn't spend time with her like he was with Amitola. "Besides I'm enjoying the time I'm spending with you" he told her. "Though I think we may have speed up a bit, so you aren't in line with what is making that noise" he said nudging her lightly.

Amitola calmed down a tiny bit as he said that, "well okay good, but I'm still staying close to you." That she did to, she was close as she could get with out intruding his space. "...You know just incase..." she said nervously with a smile.
"Really...? Wow, well I feel honored now," she said in reply. Still shocked by what he was saying. How on earth did he learn to be so sweet if it didn't spent that much time with females? "he must just have a gift," she whisper very lightly under her breath. as soon as he said that she nodded in agreement, "Well I'm glad since I'm really enjoying spending time with you too. Your different then others I've met." She couldn't believe she admitted that but alas she had. Then all of the sudden she felt him nudge her, and couldn't help but giggle. "You right I think that's a good idea," she said speeding up her pace a lot.

Daniel nodded his head " that is okay with me" he answered. He was a stallion with little experience with being around mares looked like he was doing okay with protecting this certain female.
" I'm keeping my promise of keeping you safe from harm, and suggesting you move up a bit so you aren't in line of whatever is making noise is a good way to start" he informed her. He picked up his pace to keep up with her.

Amitola smiled at Daniel, since she wasn't sure if she should say thank you one more time. So she showed her gratitude to him with her smile as she walked forward. As she looked beside her she began to realize how nice it was that for once she wasn't alone, and that someone was helping to keep her safe. "Wow this is a nice first," she whispered under her breath with a slight laugh. As she looked over to reply to him.
"You are right, plus I don't want to be any closer then that thing then I have to be," she said as she tried to walk fast enough to get away. Since it could any amount of things from nightmares. Though as she felt a good distance away from the thing, she stopped for a second as she came to a cross way. One road led to mountains, while the other led to what looked to be a grassy meadow with a nice place to rest. "So which way should we go?" she questioned him.

Daniel came to a stop beside her at the cross way and thought for a moment. "Hmm..I say we take this path" he said pointing to the path that led to the meadow. They both needed some time to rest from all the walking.

Amitola nodded that sounded like an okay choice. Plus the mountains would probably be a rough course to take. So she turned to the left and began to head down the road towards the meadow. "Okay it does look pretty here after all."

Daniel nods his head "that it does" he answered. He followed her down the left pathway towards the meadow. He swishes his tail to and fro idly. "besides I figured we needed a rest from all the walking" he finished.

He was definitely right about rest, since she could feel her legs were becoming a bit tired. How long had they walked anyways she wondered to herself. "Resting does sound good," she agreed with a nod. She was beginning to see this stallion was actually kind of considerate to have thought of something like that. Maybe the sky had brought her the perfect person to adventure with today, he thought of everything she didn't which was great in her mind.
Amitola continued onward until she reached what looked to be good resting place. She had found a tree so full that it shaded the ground below. An it was right next to what looked to be the waters edge, plus it gave a perfect view of the sky. "Does this look good enough?" she said as she turned to towards Daniel.

Daniel followed her over to the spot taking a glance around and nodded his head. "yup..looks like a perfect place to rest for a bit" he told her. He settled down in the grass looking around at the peaceful meadow. This adventures was pretty good so far and he wondered if i would get better or not.

As Amitola saw Daniel walk over to the spot, she followed closely behind and sat right next to him facing the lake. Looking around she began to notice that this meadow was so peaceful, peaceful enough it make a melody come to her head. She began to hum beautifully to herself, her colors weren't the only thing bright about her. So was her voice.
As she remembered she had company she quieted herself, "Oops sorry about that..." she said with a nervous smile. "Though you know isn't this place wonderful? Its so nice and relaxing." She said not even thinking maybe now she could try and learn some more about her companion. Before they started back up again.

Daniel nodded his head agreeing with her "it is a peaceful place" he said his eyes scanning the meadows surroundings. He swished his tail to and fro idly. He watched the wind rustle the lush green grass and he smiled lightly to himself that the meadow was a good place when someone needed to think.
