Calder wasn't interested in social standings and merely thought the ghoul was bashful and deeply crushing on G, the big, adorable yet clueless lug of a monster that he was. It was amazing how love could pair up two unlikely creatures, a swamp monster and demon such as herself, to be together. Breaking social boundaries was just the sort of thing that made him excited, and he was all for the idea of them being together.
"Oh, I'm sure he would love anyone on his arm, especially you! I can tell him right away! Oh right, he doesn't have a groanspring. Well, I can find him and tell him. I'm sure he would be excited. You two should start going out! Everyone loves G and you seem like a great ghoul if you like him. I'm sure you two would be the talk of the town." Or at least the hallways. Who didn't notice G, who towered among others, and a ghoul by his side would be just fitting.

The talk of the town?
Yes please!
Carry grinned visibly. She rather liked the Calder kid. He wasn't too bad, and desperately in love himself. Well, Carthusia wouldn't call herself desperate, but definitely more than a little twitterpated. "Tell me, are you on groanspring? I've got an account there too, but I don't use it too much. Do you find it helpful?" She needed to know, especially if she wanted to raise her social standing beyond "the new kid with the long hair".
Sigh. Sometimes she regretted not going to the school the rest of her family attended. Things would be so much easier then.
