Seth flashed Vali a smile, glad his friend was making one as well. And that he had a ROBOT compliment his mask! So cool. "Would mister robot Vali want a feather too?" he asked, already trying to pick out a feather from his tail to offer to his new friend. After all, the mask wouldn't be special without it, right?
"They're really soft too," he added, hand inches from the feathery floof. And they were, too! He loved curling up near it, using it sort of like a pillow or stuffed animal. Using his other hand, he started grabbing some of the leaves while pondering how to use them. They'd have to match, that was for sure. But how? So many ideas...

Vali could hardly keep his mouth from dropping open as his heart stopped at the younger spawn's offer. He could not believe that he was being offered such a gift. Yes it was merely a feather but still it was a feather from another spawn. He really did not want to glue it down to the mask now. "I would love a feather Seth. It wont hurt you to pluck one will it?"
He smiled hearing pride as the snake like spawn talking about his feathers, "It does look very soft. You should be proud of them." He said softly and looked over the mask. Now that he was going to get to use such a pretty feather he wanted to make it stand out.

Seth shook his head. "No, not really. Some are 'bout to fall out anyways," he replied, gently removing an orange feather from his tail and offering it to Vali. "Here, an' yeah, I am," he added with a grin. It was indeed one of his features he was proud of. In fact, there wasn't anything he WASN'T proud of or unhappy with. He would never claim to being the best, but he certainly wouldn't want to get rid of anything about him in fact.
Decorating his mask with the leaves, carefully making sure they generally matched and didn't crinkle up too bad as he glued it down. "Tada!" he giggled, revealing his leafy and feathery mask to his robot friend by putting it on.

Vali tried not to be in awe of the little orange feather that was handed to him. He was glad to hear that they would fall out anyway so that his new little friend had not had to hurt himself just to give the feather. "Oh do they fall out often?" He was very interest now. It must be like when birds molted.
He could not help but smile when the younger spawn showed the mask and put it own his face. "This unit thinks that Seth did a wonderful job on his mask." He added the last few touches to his mask and pulled it, carefully, over his hair and face, "What does Seth this of this unit's mask?" He was a bit surprised that he did not mind Seth calling him a robot and that he found himself wanting to play along with it.

Seth shook his head. "Jus' sometimes. No' often bu' sometimes," he replied, knowing the last time they started falling out he grew not too long later. His scales tended to shed about once a month in comparison as he had tiny little growths. At least, that's what he felt they were, since he didn't exactly GET it in the first place why he shed his "skin" on his tail every so often.
"I like Mister Robot Vali's mask," Seth giggled, grinning excitedly under his mask. Oh the fun he was having with him! He just hoped he wouldn't have to leave soon and ruin all his fun with the robot man who made masks with him.

Vali felt his lips curve into a rather larger grin. He lowered his mask and looked at the other booths,"Has mister Seth seen all the booths....there are some game booths and food booths. Shall we all head to them? Maybe this unit could win mister Seth a prize at a booth to go with his mask?"
Vali stood slowly. he was growing rather fond of the brightly adorn snake spawn. He hoped that this would be one he could count as a friend later on in life.

"Nu-uh. Haven' been t' any other booths. Game booths firs' though," Seth replied, grinning happily. Games sounded fun, especially if he could get a prize. Maybe he could win one for his robot friend too!
Slowly unraveling himself from the picnic bench, the naga finally lowered himself to the ground with a soft whine. The ground was cold, something he hated moving around on. Another reason why being carried was preferable to walking. "Lead th' way Mister Robot Vali," he said, smiling softly.

Vali gave a bow of his head first to the younger spawn then to the spawn's guardian. "Yes mister Seth, that sounds good. Then let us head this way." he motioned for the naga like spawn to the left.
There were larger crowds of children and young couples gathering around some lower placed booths. Like the art crafting booths these were lowered to attract more children or the younger customers. There were hand made dolls, and cars, and Chinese finger traps, even some cheaply priced costume like jewelry.
"Lets see...mister Seth would you like me to pick you up so you can see what game you might like to play?"
