Biddulphia nodded and continued guiding the mare down the trail. Landmarks were pointed out as they were passed and he always paused for a moment to be certain she had been able to make note of them. He even made sure to point out the sound of the river as they got closer to it.
Finally the trail turned and as they passed a giant old oak, the river could be seen, the sun causing light to dance on the white foam of the rough waters. Biddulphia turned left, downstream, and paused. "If you look downstream you can see the rocks I mentioned. Just past that formation are the blackberry bushes." Indeed the rocks did bear a rather uncanny resemblance to a sleeping mountain lion, if said cat were gray and made of granite.

As the neared the river Synestra knew they were getting close to the destination. She had paid close attention thus far to the directions, land marks and other items of interest along the way. This was not only to remember how to find her way back to where she started but so that one day she may return her again. As Dulph paused she brought her hooves to a stop. Glancing down the river Synestra spotted the rock that he mentioned, and after a few moments of looking at it she could certainly see the resemblance to a sleeping mountain lion. "Well now I've seen everything." She said with a chuckle. "It does look like a sleeping lion."
Turning she looked towards Dulph. "Thank you so much for showing me the way to this. But I think I have taken up enough of your time and will be able to find my way back on my own. I'll let you get back to whatever it was you were doing before I ran into you." Tipping her head Synestra was ready to explore on her own again. "It was really good to meet you and I must say you were quite helpful to me today. Take care Dulph." And with that the grey mare began to trot along the river, heading towards the lion looking rock and the berry bushes that were just beyond it.

Biddulphia nodded, "You are welcome," and turned to make his way back towards the meadow.
