I'm doing it because I want to. I was just surprised when I joined a book lover's guild and no one had a reading goal for 2011. Ha ha!
The counter is kind of complicated.
I use this for the gauge, but it doesn't support BBCode so I have to put it into an editor and change the text at the bottom manually. Then I just upload it to TinyPic and post it in there as an image. It's obviously not the best choice since I have to change it manually every time I finish a book.

i haven't signed up yet because
1. i'm waiting to see if i'll get the rest of the Remnants series to reread, and
2. i'm also in the process of writing a novel, so i have a bunch on my hands while dealing with school
