This one is a little harder... Because if you're trapped in a cage with no light, you can't see anything, its cold, hard, and probably makes your muscles ache.
But the cloud is too soft (If you don't fall through to your doom), also cold (maybe colder) and no darkness means it would be near impossible to sleep.
I would choose the cloud only for the sole purpose of MAYBE getting to see more POTENTIALLY during the day.
Either way, you're not getting a good night's sleep.

I'm a wimp who hates the dark. And it's easy for me to sleep with lights on. I guess I would choose the cloud.
