When Ladon moved closer Billy let other arm wrap around him, and took on a defensive stance. He'd make a show of defending his boyfriend. Of course, Billy didn't like that Paris was laughing. He took it personally. Just what was Paris thinking? What humor did the boy find? If anything here was laughable it was that Paris and Ladon were friends!

Billy looked at Ladon, "You have nothing to apologize for," not to Paris or anyone. He then looked back over at Paris, though still addressing Ladon, "Yes, we know one another. From gym class." He then spoke to Paris, "First you invite yourself to dinner, and then you stand there and laugh? How rude..."

This little addition to the game, this complication, this...danger... It only added to the fun! Of course, it was not a calculated addition. YOu couldn't plan for everything...

Why shouldn't he laugh? It was funny. Absolutely hilarious even. Not that Ladon was dating someone -- no, that wasn't funny. It would probably have been adorable if he'd been standing there with some sweet girl, or a guy who wasn't Billy Roadinger. Really, it was Billy who made the whole damned thing so funny, mostly because it was so unexpected.

Of course, it wasn't funny for long. The amusement was quick to die down, to be replaced with a feeling of betrayal. Paris's laughter softened and then died completely, his eyes growing a little more narrow as his mouth formed a small frown. He didn't appreciate the fact that he was the one being labeled rude, when neither of them had felt like telling him that they were dating, or whatever it was they thought they were doing. He supposed he shouldn't have expected to receive the information from Billy, but Ladon, at least, should have said something.

"Oh, shut up, Billy. Don't even start with me," Paris said, propping his hands onto his hips. He ignored Billy for the time being and focused on Ladon. Billy should watch his mouth around him anyway; Paris had certain information he was sure Billy wouldn't want Ladon to hear.

"Let's not even worry about this whole dating thing right now," Paris began. He still couldn't quite grasp that concept -- Lady and Billy dating. "Let's talk about how you didn't even tell me you were gay. I mean, I know you don't like talking about yourself a lot, but don't you think that's one of those things you should have told me? Look at me!" he said, motioning to himself with one of his hands. "How hard would it really have been for you to admit something like that to me? You think I wouldn't get it or something? That I wouldn't understand?"

Who better for him to talk about it with? Billy? He thought Billy was an acceptable individual to help him work his way out of the closet? Hadn't Billy just come out of the closet himself? And now he was "dating" his formerly closeted best friend? It was insane! Absolutely insane!

The laughing stopped. Good. Paris frowned. Bad. He never wanted to hurt his friend and after their talk about lieing and being honest, he felt he had somehow broken that promise. Oh, but he was being sassy with Billy. That, was pretty much expected. Paris had attitude. Ladon knew this. So, not bad. Better? As if to help, Paris decided not to talk about something other than the date. GREAT! Perfect. Let's not talk about the date. Ladon hoped they could talk about dinner. The Alfredo sauce was probably going to thicken too much if he didn't check. Maybe they could eat together and enjoy the rest of the night? – even though Ladon had hoped it would have been more private. He wanted to hold – OH! He was holding Billy's hand. Go him! He made progress. Sure, the kiss would probably have been nice, but …yay hand holding?

Ladon looked at their hands.

Yup. Yay Hand Holding!

As if to stomp on the idea of a quiet evening, Paris jumped into something worse.

Gripping Billy's hand in more of a death grip now than a tender hold, Ladon's eyes darted on the ground again. His other hand held the hem of his shirt, which he was twisting as he thought. "
I'm not gay…." He mumbled, before looking up at Paris. "I'm not gay….I …….just like him. Not other guys. Just him." He said, pointing to the man beside him. It wasn't that he liked guys. He just liked Billy who just so happened to be a guy.

It seemed Ladon needed to figure things out too.

Still, as he looked up at the man he was pointing to, he gave one of those small smiled and looked back down. "I like going out with just him." He really didn't want to go into the specifics why, just that he hadn't been attracted to anyone else but Billy and he felt that he could live just like that.

"Paris, if you are and friend of Ladons you would recognize that you are doing nothing but hurting your friend with your selfishness." Billy tried to make it sound like a plea.

Oh, so poor little Paris was hurt. Poor baby~ Billy thought it was amusing how Ladon could think of himself as not being gay, but here he was, dating another male. Yes, how cute. Billy had this poor boy right where he wanted him. Now Billy had to make sure Paris didn't say anything to ruin that...
It would be hard to find another target like Ladon... Honestly though, Billy had Paris to thank for showing him that he himself preferred the male body - no squishy boobs, and a more aesthetically pleasing form really appealed to his artistic eye - and at this point Billy probably wouldn't be....too pissed if Paris ruined this opportunity for him. It wasn't like Billy couldn't simply start his game anew with someone else.
He'd simply see how this went. He'd continue to play the protective boyfriend.

"You like him," Paris said in response to Ladon's statement, more an observation than a question. No, the question came next. "You like him?"

It wasn't that he couldn't understand why anyone would find Billy likable. He'd seen the appeal before. He simply couldn't believe that someone like Ladon would like someone like Billy. Ladon's innocent naivete and Billy's emotional distance and arrogance just didn't mesh well in Paris's brain. They were so opposite of one another.

Then again, Ladon was naive. Who was to say he wasn't being tricked? He probably didn't even know what he was doing.

Therefore, it must be Billy's fault. Thus, Paris turned on Billy. "Selfish? I'm selfish?" he asked. "I'm not the one sneaking around behind my friend's back! I don't hide anything. I tell Ladon everything," he said, too angry to use the little nickname he'd devised. "I don't seem to be receiving the same courtesy. He and I have discussed this before."

And he turned back to Ladon. "Haven't we, Ladon? You remember, don't you? That time I helped you? Should we talk about that in front of Billy? He might like to know your kinks. He has a few himself," he said. Now he was being catty, but he didn't care. They both deserved it. "But you probably don't know about the biting. I don't see any bruises on you."

This was going to heck in a hand basket and Ladon didn't know what to do to stop it. Billy just seemed mellow, but his best friend was clearly upset. Al previous thoughts that they had and might get along were tossed aside, leaving him confused as to what these two thought about each other. Billy just seemed upset that Paris was making a commotion, while Paris hated Ladon for keeping secrets from him. He knew it was a touchy subject with Paris ever since that time in Crystal, which Paris JUST SO HAPPENED to bring up. The threat struck hard and he shook his head quickly. "You promised!" He said, but instantly regretted those words. He promised to not lie to Paris. "I wasn't lying. I just – I didn't know yet. I wasn't sure. I'm still not sure. I'm not sure about a lot. How was I supposed to tell you when I just started going out? That I MIGHTED be…ya know." Gay, Ladon. The word was gay. "I didn't MEAN to keep it from you. It's just…personal and I was just getting used to it and I didn't know how far things were go and please don't hate me. You're my best friend. I really, truly didn't mean to keep it from you. I just needed more time to think it all out." He was more or less pleading with Paris to understand, not wanting to loose Paris as a friend, but wanting to defend Bily and their relationship too. It was just so hard and complex and now dinner was ruined after he spent all this time thinking what to make! THIS SUCKED!

Taking a big breath, he went from a mix of sad and worried, to confused. Billy…..bite people? Why would he bite people? He stopped a moment to look at Billy, clearly wondering what the heck Paris was talking about and how they even knew each other. "You bite Paris? Is that why he's angry with you? I thought you only punched people." Did Billy leave that detail out because he didn't want to show he had more anger issues?

Billy gave Ladon a small smile as he asked him this, and Billy just leaned on close and whispered in his ear, "I'll explain later," and in a very casual, comforting, loving manner brushed a dark hand through Ladon's even darker hair. "Just see if dinner can be rescued. You worked hard on it." Or so he assumed. Still, it was all empty flattery.

Billy then turned his attention back to Paris. "Everything aside, I would have to question how much you care for Ladon - threatening to spill secrets about him. Threatening the same about me? Someone he professes to like? That doesn't sound like something a friend would do." Time now, to put on a show~ "Ladon is the light in my confused, dark world. Don't tarnish that. Don't threaten something so sweet and innocent." Billy's plea was, of course, lies. He was a good actor though - blessed with a silver tongue and a vast amount of control. Billy knew this. He was proud of it, and he used it to its fullest. Sadly he didn't get that opportunity often. This was nice.

Under normal circumstances, Paris would do his best not to hurt Ladon. He liked Ladon. Ladon might lecture him sometimes, but he was still somewhat accepting, or he'd grown to be, whether or not he had been in the beginning. He wouldn't have brought any of this up if he weren't feeling so betrayed. He could understand Ladon not being sure about himself, about the dating issue, but he'd thought there was enough trust and friendly feelings between them that Ladon would have come to him for help.

He could have answered his questions, calmed him down before a date, helped him pick out what to wear, listened to him gush about it when it was over. Those were the sorts of things friends were supposed to do, right? The fact that they might even have the similarity of liking men should have been a bonus! Paris knew how men were. He could have helped Ladon through his confusion or... or fear.

Instead, he'd been left in the dark, and he hated that. He'd had too many people pull that crap on him to accept it when it came from his supposed friend.

"You don't want to start bringing up promises, Ladon. You lied to me before and I let it go. I've never lied to you. Not once." If Ladon was going to start breaking his promises, Paris didn't see why he should keep his. He would, though, whatever Ladon thought. He was at least a decent enough person not to reveal the things Ladon wanted kept secret.

"Do you even have any idea what you're doing with him?" he asked. Paris suspected Ladon didn't even have a clue about dating guys. Ladon couldn't think or talk about sex without his face going red, so Paris was going to assume they hadn't progressed to that level yet. Again, he didn't see any of the tell-tale hickeys. He was almost grateful he'd caught them before they'd gotten that far.

"So you didn't even bother to tell him that you knew me? Don't I feel flattered," he continued sarcastically. He wasn't even sure who he'd meant the comment to be directed to, but he soon turned to Billy again. "You're so full of s**t, Billy. Is that the sort of stuff you've been spouting off to him? Because if it is, you might want to work on coming up with some new lines. Maybe you can fool Ladon with that crap, but I'm not buying it. What the hell are you really up to?"

Paris looked at him suspiciously, trying to read him. It wasn't that he thought Ladon wasn't worthy of someone finding him attractive. He wasn't exactly Paris's type, but he was cute, and he was a nice guy, so why wouldn't someone like him? No, it was that he didn't believe Billy at all capable of feeling anything for anyone. Their fling certainly hadn't meant anything, so why should this?

"Who's really the one hurting him? Me or you?"

They were yelling and things were just getting worse and worse and more out of hand. More and more concerned, he watched as both of them argued with each other on his behalf and how Paris argued for him and against him. No one was happy for him to have a great friend and a great boyfriend, and he didn't want to think of the possibility that he might have to decide on one or the other. He loved them both – but in separate ways!

The pat on his head caught his attention enough to break him from his thoughts, and swallowing hard, he nodded and slowly moved to the oven. He had to at least check and maybe they could sort it out. Right now, tail tucked, he wanted to just have it stop, but more and more was being dragged out instead of shoved back in the vault. To add to his misery, the skillet showed that the Alfredo had thickened to a hard glue and the chicken was cemented in the mess. He didn’t bother to pick up any marinara sauce for the pasta, so even that possibility was out. It was ruined, like his date.

Choking up, he turned back to pick up on the conversation, not really stopped paying attention but wishing he had. Paris was furious and Billy was trying to be nice enough to speak for him, but really, he could only do so much. Moving over, he breathed deep, trying to find a space in all the talking to jump in before Paris finally said his bit and Ladon piped in.

"Just stop it, PLEASE! Why can't you get along with him, Paris? If you're angry at me for what I did, then just hate me, but what did Billy ever do to you? Did he bite you? Is that it? Is that why you're upset?" He just didn't get it. Why was there this much hostility against his boyfriend, and worse yet, Paris was talking as if Ladon was a moron. "I don't get you. I thought you'd be happy. You know I don't go out with anyone. I didn't have to say it. I didn't talk about this or tell him about you because this is only our third date, but so much for that!" He was furious. Everything was ruined and now everything else was getting worse. Paris would probably scare off Billy if this kept up.

"And don't talk like I don't know what I'm doing. I know what I feel and I know that I like him. That's all I need to know. What do you ever care? You said you didn't even believe in love. You go out with guys all the time. Why can't I go out with him?" To which he pointed at Billy again as if he had to make it clear who exactly he was talking about.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:45 pm

Billy narrowed his eyes at Paris and was about to reply when Ladon threw his bit of a fit. Perhaps if Billy saw Ladon as a person, he'd of felt bad. Billy had done self-convincing, long bouts of self convincing to objectify him so that he was fairly unaffected. Billy had to act like he was though. When Billy finally answered Paris, it was cool and calm.

"You think you know me well enough to make such assumptions, Paris? What? Do you think that..think that I would toy with Ladon?" Billy took the boy's hand again, lacing their fingers together and kissing them. "What am I really up to? How about getting some balance in my life? Ladon is everything that I am not."

The fight was fun. Billy didn't care if he ended up losing Ladon because of it. He had already determined that, no matter how hard it was to find a replacement, he could do so, and succeed again in worming his way in to the other poor fool's heart. Confident. It wouldn't be a true loss. Merely an unexpected and thrilling set back. Even greater though? To keep Ladon. It would give his loving possession more value. He'd be even more worth his place at his side.
So things could go both ways and Billy would be content. He was aiming, though, to keep what he had thus far worked for. Ladon was a possession - like a figurine or precious doll. A trophy. Love? There was no love. Not in this recess of his mind.
It was only deep down, in reflection that would happen later that night when Billy was back in his dorm room, that he would recall tonight's actions and words and find perhaps the smallest bit of human endearment, and maybe that doll, that prized trophy would become a little human to him, too.

If Billy wanted to go off and play his games with someone else, that was fine. Paris couldn't care less. But he'd chosen Ladon and Paris wouldn't allow that. He didn't believe Billy's ridiculous facade for one second. He'd only come out of the closet, what? A month or two ago? And now he thought he'd found love? Someone to bring "balance"? Please. He doubted either of them knew what they wanted.

"You really want to know what Billy did?" Paris wondered. He smiled, but it wasn't a nice smile at all. It was twisted and dark, unfriendly. "We can talk about that if you want to. It was a nice afternoon. Much better than going to class. I'm shocked he never told you about it. But then he wouldn't want to, would he? Not if he wanted to keep making you feel special."

He felt bad. This wasn't how he wanted to treat Ladon, but the anger and the betrayal were eating away at him, and it was taking everything he had not to scream at the both of them. His stomach churned uncomfortably, his head pounded, and his chest ached from trying to hold himself back.

"Don't act like you know what you're doing," he told his friend. "The truth is you don't have a clue, isn't it? You think you're in love with him when you've only been on three dates? You think that's enough time to know that you love someone? Don't you think I'd know better than you?"

He glanced toward Billy with a wicked grin. "Do you want to tell Ladon how we know one another?" he asked, slowly stepping closer, forcing the sort of expression on his face that he'd used to seduce Billy in the locker-room. "Let's talk about how well we know each other, hmm? Does he know about your first time? He mustn't, seeing as you never mentioned me. What, you didn't want to tell him that? Thought it would work against you, did you?"

Paris stopped when he was directly in front of them both, though he stood closer to Billy than Ladon, letting him get a whiff of his perfume, letting him remember if he chose to. "You want to know the truth, Ladon? About Billy and I? I'll tell you." He took his chances and leaned in, almost touching. "We slept together. Once. When were were supposed to be in class. And he liked it. Don't let him tell you he didn't."

He knew he was making a mess of everything, but at the moment he just didn't care. He smirked up at Billy, waiting to see how he got himself out of this one. "Was I not good enough for you, Billy? Had to go out and find someone more innocent, someone you could manipulate and control? Is that what you like? Does that make you feel better about yourself? Less pathetic?"
PostPosted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:02 pm

(Jumping post order because it needs to be said))

If Paris thought that in this place, in the mood all parties were currently in, that Billy would be at all attracted, then he was wrong. When Paris walked his way, gave him that look, Billy scoffed, and amused grin on his face as he shook his head. Oh, Paris. Such an amusing little rat. Billy would exert little effort to keep his trophy. The fight was thrilling, but he wasn't about to stoop to win. Billy didn't stoop. And as mentioned, he was already fine with moving to another victim. Later his mind would probably disagree, as he'd realize that Ladon had, in a way, worked his way into his own hard, stony, heart. After all, not all of those compliments had been lies. They were more sugary than Billy probably would have really delivered them, and certainly more frequent but...there had been truth. Billy didn't realize how much. Sometimes when you get used to a recipe you stop measuring, going on feeling and whatnot. Cooking similes and metaphors were not his forte. Soon he would realize though. Very soon.

"You are despicable, Paris. I hardly thought you capable of such heartlessness, such...ruthlessness." Billy said the last word with a vigorous flourish. "I commend you for that, and for showing me where my preferences lay. I am not proud of how it was discovered though, I'll have you know that, Ladon. We all make mistakes. It was good, yes, but a mistake. Without that mistake though, I doubt I would have ever ended up with you. Boys are expected to court girls. I merely went on doing as expected until my first fateful encounter with Paris. ...We all do things that can never be corrected. "
Now came the lie, disguised with a painful expression on the face of one Billy Roadinger, "Things we regret. You are so pure, I knew it would hurt you. That is the last thing I wanted. I had hoped..." Billy stopped, letting that last sentence hang there. He had let his gaze drop, looking to neither. All part of the act.

He continued, this time with truth, "Ladon's innocence is merely a bonus. It provides...provided me a feeling of power. Leadership. Yes, I very much had control. I'll admit to enjoying watching the look on his face every time I made even the most vaguely intimate move. I even said such to him, albeit in not quite those words. Despite that he still said he liked me. Someone as dark and manipulating as I." He looked up, a bitter smile on his face.

If, despite all this, Ladon could find it to 'like' him despite all that was being layed out on the proverbial table...then perhaps it would be worth it to lose the game and fall... Ladon's forgiveness for Billy's past transgressions would no doubt resonate in the young man's mind. Despite any dehumanization, that someone could care that much about him would be a shock to his system.

Billy thought - or would think - about what it would be like to fall in love. Would it be losing his game if he did it intentionally? Ladon was good looking enough. Ladon's personality gave him a feeling of power. That was really beneficial. Ladon was idealistic enough that billy had no doubt he would have a loyal pet. No, if he was to fall in love he couldn't think of him as an object, or even as a pet. Partner. That worked. Could Billy be content with Ladon? Billy had never loved anyone. He couldn't quite calculate any further.

That was all getting ahead of the game though. Ladon hadn't even reacted yet. Billy should be expecting the boy to be appalled. To detest, even hate him. He should expect to be sent out of the house without a word, never to hear from Ladon again. And that thought shouldn't hurt him. It wouldn't. No. If that were to happen then none of this would resonate in his mind later. Any connection that had wormed its way into his heart would be squeezed out and sealed away never to seep in again. Billy wouldn't spare him another thought.

Everything hinged on Ladon and his reaction.

Paris was his friend. Is best friend. They went through a lot more together in a short time than he ever had with just a common acquaintance. Maybe it was because Ladon didn't have any friends, but he felt what they had was something special. The way people said that you really only had one true friend in your life, and that person would have your back if anything would happen. Ladon liked to believe that, if Paris had ever been in the Negaverse, he would be the type of person to watch his back, through thick and thin, and be there for him just as he would be there for him. He had been. Ladon had wanted a better life for Paris seeing as his viewpoints were a little wrong, sad even, and he came from neglectful parents. (Really, he and Billy were pretty similar.)

So why was Paris being cruel?

While Ladon was often slow on the upkeep, he had a strange, sick feeling in his insides when Paris started to allude to how he knew Billy. "Billy and I". It was a unit. A group. A partnership. That little string of words tipped him off, and it only got worse from there. If there was one thing that Paris often talked about, it was sex and his exploits. He didn't do it so much around Ladon, and he appreciated that, but it was more than content than the characters that bothered him. Not this time.

The slow, intimate movement up to Billy, the boy still holding his hand, had not gone unnoticed. Then, his friend Paris, eased up this his boyfriend, Billy, and smiled. A smile that moments ago had been so darkly twisted that Ladon could hardly believe it was Paris, and then melted into a look of luring, heavy-eyed lust for the man beside him. To drag him under his bus for as long as he could, Paris slowly got to his point.

Billy's first time. Away from class. At gym. Together…….in that way.

Paris had a flare for delivery, and he effectively destroyed his best friend in the process. A little shutter ran through him at knowing what it was these two knew, and updated, he wished he never knew. To add insult to a very deep injury, Paris continued to act as Ladon had no idea what he was doing or how he felt, and that in the end, Billy only wanted him because he was………..what? Pathetic? A lesser prize to go after than other people?

Billy had pipped in to give his viewpoint, and while on any other time, he might have found some silver lining to grasp on, and he found it hard among all the highlighted words. Ladon gave Billy power. He made it sound so…cold. They way he shared made the relationship a little sterile and dark, and Ladon breathed deep, trying to see what their relationship even was. He liked Billy, and Billy was coming to his aid. The boy also admitted to thinking low of people – Paris wasn't helping with that viewpoint at all mind you – and that he used people. But he had said he wasn't using him. Assured him of that, but he did seem to like the power Ladon gave him. But this was all Billy in the here and now, and Ladon hoped he could make him more of a person who used less and had more faith. It was exactly what he was doing with Paris after all, and he still wanted to be his friend. Well, not so much now. A hard cut had dug into their friendship that was too fresh and tender.

Swallowing hard, he looked up, misty-eyed, at his friend. They way he looked at Billy, a man that he already had, and came into his house to ruin everything. Something Ladon so desperately wanted. Needed. "Why are you doing this?" He said, his voice barely above a whisper before growing in intensity? "Why? Why did you come here if all you wanted to do was ruin everything? I might have held this from you, but I never wanted to hurt you. I never intentionally wanted to hurt you so why…………"" He had to take a moment to breath, collect his fragmented thoughts. "………get out of my house, Paris." His chest hurt. It was more painful than any attack he had received on the field during a patrol. It dug deep, as if someone was stabbing at his starseed. " Get out of my house right now!"

“It didn’t seem like so much of a mistake at the time,” Paris spoke over Billy, refusing to allow him to belittle what had happened. Their fling might not have been special in the way Ladon wanted his relationship with Billy to be special, but it certainly hadn’t been a mistake either. It wasn’t as if Billy had accidentally slept with him. He’d meant to do it. They both had. There was no way Billy would be able to deny that believably to Paris’s face, and therein lied Billy’s problem. Paris knew, and he would not be fooled by the pathetic act Billy was currently employing.

Paris hadn’t a clue why Billy was doing it. It couldn’t be for the sex. Ladon surely wouldn’t be giving him any anytime soon, and with the convenient arrangement they’d had at school, Paris didn’t see much of a point in Billy looking elsewhere. They might not be friends but they had their similarities, and they hadn’t gotten along horribly before. Unless Billy was seeking some sort of sick amusement from screwing with an innocent guy like Ladon, Paris saw no reason for him to be engaging in this sham of a date -- except for his search for “light” and “balance,” which was such a load of crap Paris didn’t understand how anyone could possibly believe it.

Well, he knew why Ladon would. Ladon, like Paris, was lonely; unlike Paris, he sought to cure his loneliness in a different way. Paris went to whomever would give him the attention he craved, but Ladon was more naïve, less open to the idea or sex without love, so he looked for love instead, and in his love-starved mind he believed the first guy to say a kind word to him, the first guy to show an interest. It was no wonder he couldn’t realize he was being played.

Paris’s face fell when Ladon responded to him, his twisted smile vanishing, to be replaced by a tortured expression, hurt and confused. Why didn’t Ladon understand? Maybe Paris wasn’t going about this the right way, but he’d thought they were close enough friends -- that they’d been through enough together -- that Ladon would believe him over a guy he’d only met however many days or weeks ago.

“Why am I doing this?” he parroted back, anger warring with distress. “Why are you doing this? You’ll choose to believe him over me? What has he ever done to prove to you that he means what he says?”

Paris took a step back, moving away from Billy, but he didn’t stay away for long. He grabbed onto Ladon’s shoulders next, nearly shaking him, as if doing so would force some sense into him. “When have I ever lied to you? When have I ever given you a reason to think that I would try to ruin something for you without a very good reason? I’m trying to help you, Lady!” he exclaimed, using the little affectionate name this time as a means of forcing him to actually listen. “Don’t push me away when I’m trying to help you! Don’t kick me out!”

So it would be Paris who was to be dismissed. Billy knew better than to think that meant the he, himself, was out of the woods. He knew any number of things could happen once Paris left. Billy could find himself on the receiving end of some words and then dismissed. There was the possibility that, if Billy made a move to comfort him once Paris left that the boy would be unwelcoming and lash out. Then again, Ladon could crumple into his arms and desire comfort.

Billy knew just how to react. He went ahead and turned his face away, towards the floor or some corner, something. Then eyes closed, then open again and brows knit - an expression of self berration, self anger.

All in all, this was still just a game. Even if he had some major re-accessing to do.

But it seemed like Paris just wasn't giving up. Not yet. Oh, so he had to prove what he said? Prove that he 'loved' Ladon? Billy thought of all the small dangers he could rescue his boyfriend from and proclaim it all in the name of love. Dangers that weren't really dangers, but that could easily be built up to seem so. Words did wonders to distort reality. that and a little bit of acting.
And here Paris had just given him the perfect opportunity - by laying hands on Ladon. The action was caught out of the corner of his eye and the decision made in an instant as a dark hand reached for Paris' arm. His grip was none too gentle, and neither was the look in his pink, pink eyes.

"I won't speak for Ladon. I won't say that he doesn't need help. Maybe he does," there would have been a shrug there, but currently his hands were occupied, "But I did hear him order you to get out. So take your hands off of my boyfriend, and remove yourself from the premises. If you are lucky, dear 'Lady' might forgive you. Knowing him, blessed kind heart that he is, the chances are high to likely. So quit while your ahead." There was a fire in Billy's eye that said he was enjoying this far more than he should.
