"Aww but can't we find one now?" She inquired, "How long must we wait," A small pout crossed the little filly's face. They had been journeying for a while how much longer was she going to have to wait.
Lilith stopped when her cousin stopped. Her ears flicked searching for any sign of this so called ghost. The howl brought shudders down the little filly's spine. "Cousin its calling to us!" Shouted the filly. As the howl died down the filly ran after the direction it was heady. "Quick we must catch it before it leaves!"

"Ah, Lilith! Wait!." She couldn't help laughing though she wanted to put up a scared front to play up the spookiness of the ghosts. Taking off after her cousin, she was glad that the little filly had believed the wind was an actual ghost. Even if she didn't get to see one, at least she could believe she heard a ghost. It would be interesting to see how Lavanya reacted to this story once her daughter told it to her.

"But if we wait its going to get away!" Lilith called back to her cousin. "I want to befriend it!" Just then a log got in Lilith's way she tried to jump over it but her stomach got stuck on the top of the log. She had jumped to soon and didn't quite make it over the log. She struggled to get off of the log. "Quick cousin go after it, its going to get away!" She half whined.

Branwen had a moment of panic as she watched Lilith try to jump the log and fail. She had this image of the little foal tumbling on the ground and breaking a leg or something. It was much to her relief when that didn't happen and she simply got stuck instead. With a quick sigh she trotted up to Lilith and tried to help her off the log, "I can't just leave you here. What if some other, less friendly ghost comes long and steals you away?" By ghost she really meant skinwalker or kalona. These parts were usually pretty safe, but not always.

The excitement in her expression increased when her cousin mentioned being taken away by one. "Then I'd be able to see one!" She replied back half shouting her answer to her cousin. "Besides I think it would be a very exciting adventure if a ghost took me away for a while. I could talk to them and see what ghosts really do and think. I think talking to a ghost would be very interesting."
Once she was off of the log her expression faded to sad disappointment. There lead on the so-called ghost was no gone. "See now you lost it," She pouted.

Being taken away by ghosts was not at all Branwen's idea of a fun time. In fact, a story like that probably would have frightened her to tears as a foal. But LIlith seemed to be absolutely fearless and it was a constant source of entertainment, even if it could end up getting her into trouble one day. Branwen shook her head, nudging the foal's shoulder, "Sorry. It's probably run off and told all of its ghost friends we're here. We should come back tomorrow when their guard isn't up." She was having fun with her cousin but there was no telling how long she had been away from her mother already and the last thing Branwen wanted to do was cause her aunt any worry, "Why don't we get you on home for now?"

The pout continued to trace Lilith's lips. "Home is no fun," The foal muttered to her cousin. The pout didn't last long as her mind wandered to the next day. "Do you think we'd be able to see one tomorrow if we came back?" her own excitement was once more returning to her. Then with out much warning the little foal shouted into the distance. "YOU HEAR THAT GHOSTS WE CAN MEET TOMORROW!!"

Branwen laughed and tried to hush her cousin, "Shh! Don't let them know our plans otherwise they may never come out." Shaking her head she nudged at Lilith's rump, trying to push her towards home, "Come on now. I'm sure your mother's worried sick about you by now."

"Of course they will come out," Lilith stated, being positive on the whole situation. "Why wouldn't they come out, I'm not going to hurt them. I just want to make them my friends." When she was pushed away from the spot, heading back to where they had come from she gave a small swish of her tail, waving good-bye to the ghosts. "Alright, but we are coming back tomorrow. We'll keep coming back until we've met a ghost." She huffed, and with that she left, heading in the direction of home.
