Iosef nodded. "With Yakut again among us, she'll do fine." He smiled confidently in that knowledge -- his faith in Yakut was unwavering, as was his faith in everything else in the pack. Silly male. Naive slave.
Mention of winter made him think, however. Orithia was not the only one in danger of illness in the cold months. He had pups to worry about...and, that niggling voice in his thoughts reminded him...Tui. A sudden, fierce image of the white wolf starving and cold invaded his thoughts and nearly overwhelmed him. Dammit. Not now. "...Is there further duty you wish of me, my Queen?" he said, to cover for his sudden unease. "Only I think I had best finish my duties early, and get Chimera back to his mother."
He skidded to a stop too late, and bowled clumsily into Orithia's paws. He flopped over onto his side and peeked up at her with a soft violet eye. "Oh. I see." His brow furrowed. "...Will they play with me, then?"

Indeed now that Yakut was back she could rest easy knowing that the proper knowledge to heal any illness was only a few dens away. She smiled at Iosef's offer but shook her head softly. "No, that will be all for now, I will leave you and your son to your duties." Her eyes ticked over to her daughter for the moment. "Orithia." She called out getting the young wolfs attention. "We must be moving on now." After seeing her daughter nod in acknowledgment the Queen looked back to Iosef. "Do make sure you get some rest once your duties are done. Oh, and have Seraphin come see me when she has a free moment." Giving her head a slight now Penthesilea turned and padded off.
Orithia wasn't sure how to answer that question. Her sisters were above the slaves and as such should not be playing with the pups even if they were still young themselves. "When they have time, training takes a lot of effort." She merely answered, it wasn't the entire truth but Orithia could not stand to crush his confidence and playful ways by giving him the real answer, that no they would not and soon likely neither would his own sisters. Head lifted up and she nodded to her mother. "I have to go now, we will have some fun another time. And giving her tail a slight wag and flashing him a smile Orithia followed after her mother.

Iosef nodded graciously and withdrew a step. "I shall," he said, to both things, and then turned his attentions to his son. "Chimera! Come, we must finish."
Chimera began to ask another question, but was interrupted. He watched her thoughtfully, and then shrugged. Well, he didn't care if the others played with him, anyway. He'd always have his sisters.
Pleased, he turned and bounded back to his father.
