With a smile, Ichigo said, "It's as hard to believe as you want it to seem." She locked her gaze on his face. "So in other words it's a lie?" she asked, in a light tone. A quiet laugh escaped her lips. "Ah, human tricks. You must be crafty to have earned this ability." she said.

The feeling of deja vu hadn't exactly gone away. It still washed over Ichigo, but it confused her. What would this man have to do with her? He was...different yes. In many ways too. A faint memory tugged at the back of her mind, and it made her curious. Though it was too hazy to remember clearly.

Ichigo looked at him from her thoughts. "But you've learned it, yes?" she asked. "If you were born with it than you wouldn't be human." She sighed. "Oh, you are rather confusing."

At his last remark, Ichigo's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "Nothing that's too important. You haven't done anything. Nothing that I know of anyways." she said. After a moment of silence, she looked at him. "I'm sorry. I do believe I haven't introduced myself. Unless you've guessed who I am already."

Ichigo held her hands up innocently. "No need to get snappy. Just jumping to conclusions." she said. He seemed a bit defensive of his power. She gave a smile, a playful and small one. "Well then welcome. Try not to cause any trouble." She was silent, as if she were listening. "Dawn's almost here." she murmured. "You seemed to have pulled me from my duties." She turned to leave. "I am Ichigo, by the way." she said, waving her hand.

In truth, she wanted to leave the feeling of familiarity and confusing dizziness. Also, the sun was not exactly her favorite thing either. It didn't harm her at all and if she spent enough time in it, she'd get used to it. But when it first rose was when it was the worst. Another reason was her thirst. It had started playing at her throat.

With a slight smirk, Ichigo disappeared with the wind. Standing in front of the Night dorm, Ichigo took a long look at the sky before going inside. She would probably go to sleep. There wasn't much to do anyways. The only thing she'd have to wait for the next night. Unless something important came up in the daytime. Then she'd have to deal with it. Hopefully, she'd have no visitors.

Entering the dorm, she took a swift glance around. Most of the Night students were still in class at the main building. They'd be back any moment now. She swiftly went up the stairs and into her room, one that was a bit too large to be simply a room. It had two doors on each side that lead to two smaller rooms. The main room held a single sofa with a few chairs around a table near the window in the back of the room. In front of the sofa was a low table with a glass and a packet of white tablets. The glass was full of water and Ichigo dropped two tablets in before sitting down heavily on the sofa. She watched as the water turned red and the alluring scent of blood hit her. It smelled like blood but was instead a blood substitute. She drained the glass quickly and went into the left room. She dropped her pistol on the bedside table and dropped onto the bed, leaving her uniform on. It didn't matter. She was too tired to change anyways. As she started to sleep, the first rays of the sun came up.

Ichigo woke to the sound of wispering voices in front of her door. With a quiet sigh, she listened to see if it was even good enough to deal with. "-and it's only if the mistress allows it." she heard a young male's voice say. A deeper voice, one from a much older man said, "Then ask it of her!" Ichigo could hear the faint shuffle of another's feet. "I'm sorry, I'm afriad that she's resting now. You should know better, Toga Yagari. You'll just have to wait until she awakens. If she hasn't already." A deep grunt came from Toga. "Kaien. Caring for another pure blood for all these years? Remember how much trouble that girl cause?" As Kaien opened his mouth to protest, Ichigo appeared at the door, holding it open.

"What's this all about?" she asked, irritation sparking off of her. An odd feeling rose in the air. Fright from the young man who had taken the liberty to stop Toga from entering her room. She gave a slight nod of aknowledgment towards him, making his face a tint of red. Obviously he was afraid that Ichigo had been woken. Kaien was harder to predict, but Ichigo could sense as much irritation from him as she held. Toga was much harder to predict, being a vampire hunter and all. He was feeling a bit confident, as if he were guessing the answer already. He gave a slight bow with his head. "Ichigo-san. I have a request." With a small sigh, she nodded her head once. "Very well. Come in." She looked at Kaien. "Does this involve you too?" Kaien nodded. "Well, yes. It is my school." Before he could start one of his, "Vampires and humans can be friends!" speeches, she pulled him into her room. Toga followed quietly. Ichigo sat on the sofa while Toga and Kaien stood in front of her. "What?" she asked in a weary tone. It was Toga who started.

"The association has received word that an 'accident' happend a few days ago?" he asked. Ichigo nodded. "Yes. A few of the Day students snuck out and entered the main building. Neither of them were hurt, but they did see quite a lot. Though, they're memories were wiped." she said. Toga nodded. "I see. But because of this, the association has requested that another guardian be posted here. One as strong as you." Ichigo snorted. "And when you find someone willing, let me know." she said. Kaien gave a tsk. "Ichigo, don't act like that. I didn't raise you that way." Ichigo gave a faint smile of amusement. "Sorry, headmaster." she said. This time Kaien snorted. "I told you to call me daddyyy!" he said in a pouty voice. Ichigo and Toga both exchanged looks. Toga swiped his hand at the back of Kaien's head. "Owie." he whined, though didn't continue with his whining.

After some time, Ichigo sighed. "Fine. But I'm not choosing." Toga opened his mouth but Ichigo silenced him with a hand. Kaien snickered. "I will not choose. I am going back to sleep. I need rest. You and Cross-sensei can do that." she said, standing and going back to her room. She could hear Kaien and Toga arguing, as they usually did. She plopped back down on her bed, resting a hand on her forehead. "What a morning." she groaned, burrying herself in blankets.

The same young man from earlier answered the dorm's door. He stared at Akira with an unfazed stare. "Can I help you?" he asked. "I'm afraid if you're looking for the Day dorm it is opposite from here." A female vampire peered over his shoulder and gave a snort. "Stupid humans." she muttered before flitting towards her room. The young man sighed and looked back to Akira, "I apologize for her. She doesn't have the greatest attitude." "I heard that!" the girl called, making the man flinch. "What are you doing here?"

"You have no right to speak to them that way." Ichigo said in a sharp voice. She was changed now, in a bright red button down shirt and a black pair of pants. She wore black boots with heels. Her hair was twisted back into a loose ponytail. "Aymaya, go now." she said. The young man bowed and left. Ichigo looked at Akira irritably. "You live here now?" she asked. She appeared in front of him. She lifted his feet and dropped them to floor. "And you're the new guardian." It was much more a statement than a question. She sighed. "Well, what's done is done."

She turned. "Leave the others alone, though." she said. "And stay out of my room." She started back up the stairs, thinking to herself. Damn him and his being here. She stopped at the middle of the stairs and turned towards him. "Why are you here anyways?" she asked. "I know there's more reason."
