I didn't watch the well subbed version for long. It was not very good at all. I kind of liked the poorly dubbed version better, since I focused less on how much it deviated from //G.U. and more on how to comprehend the terrible subbing job.

Hell, I'd go for a japanese one, with english subtitles. Actually, I may like that better than a total translation. They should do that.

Tay Lorien Nope, it's the entire US branch. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Did they get bought out?! Is there anyone I can write instead to get something to JUDAL?! I mean, Vampire Game partially shaped how I think today! I read it all the time! I consider it my first manga! It's had so much of an influence, and what I've seen of her other works has been awesome as well! DX I didn't really get //Link's manga.

The .hack//link manga is an intro to the game. Shame that it stopped at volume 3.
Tokyopop didn't get bought out per se, but some of its series have already been acquired by other companies.

To all ppl who wrote on this forum. Don't ya think its kinda bad that we are missing out on the most outragous final boss which is Aura???? That crazy AI was gonna be deleted by her own mom (in the anime) then was killed/revived (in the games) and in G.U... Well i dont know were she went there XD but still... Why HER?! D:

GU's use of Aura is a little hard to explain.
Aura sorta went into the internet(?) after the stuff with her daughter Zefie in LotB.
If you read the GU reports, Pi's brother asks Zefie about where Aura went.
The whole plot of GU is to make a new Aura to replace her, or at least bring her back, since her presence was the source of the game's stability.
Near the end of the GU games, Aina channels Aura to help the group take out the final boss.
I don't know much about Link's plot but I guess she returns in that too... I think she was corrupted and they needed to purify her.
