(And in any case, Shadow CAN'T AGE! D:< Meaning when I say Shadow in this roleplay was 14, he looked just like how he does now :3)
"That's a generous offer, but no." Shadow said coldly, looking at his tracking bracelet. "I should have damaged that machine more. They'll fix it easily, and then they'll find me, and I'll be back in that damned room. And anyone found helping me," he turned his gaze to the girl offering to help him, "would be eliminated on the spot. To answer your question, I'm not a murderer." He added under his breath(but Alice could still hear it), "The only time I've killed was when ordered to. 'Course that was before I found out I was just a puppet to them. Ultimate Lifeform my a**..."

She listened to him speak about where he had been kept. After he finished she held out a hand. "I don't want them to send you back. Please come inside." She pleaded as she tried to convince him.

"How incredibly dumb are you people?" Shadow said, in disbelief that she still wanted to assist him after hearing what would happen when she was caught. He turned to her, crossing his arms. "It's your funeral."

She smiled at him. "Okay come on." She looked around for any guards and quietly went inside, leaving the door open for him. She went upstairs and sat on her couch.

Shadow followed her. He walked up the steps, looking over his shoulder before entering and closing the door behind him. Nice place she's got... Shadow thought, then headed upstairs. He walked past the couch, towards the window. He watched the guards below, searching for him. What, do they expect me to jump out and come quietly? After all the hard work of getting their schedules and choosing the best time to act?

She watched as he walked right pasted her and stood up. "You want something to eat. . .or drink. . .?" She said softly as she headed for the fridge.

"No. Thanks." Shadow said, sitting on the couch. He looked at his wrist. "How do I get rid of this thing?" he pondered aloud, but quietly nonetheless. Still, Alice could hear it. "Damn scientists have thought of everything...."
(We're getting better. Our posts are only ten minutes apart, now! 3nodding Isn't it weird that we're not even at 30, yet we've been online and roleplaying-in general-for, like, three hours? xD)

She closed the fridge and walked to the couch, sitting next to him. She looked at the thing on his wrist. " I have a saw in my closet. . ." She said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

"Saws won't work on this. I've tried." Shadow told her, still looking at it. "It's a tracking device. When they'd send me on missions, they used it to make sure I did what I was supposed to, and didn't wander astray."

"Saws, hammers, guns, fists and other tools-nothing even gives it a scratch. I've even let myself get blasted by a tank; it didn't have any effect on the bracelet. Ah, what's the use." Shadow stood, walking back to the window and pulling back one of the blinds a bit. They were still searching for him. "It's impossible to get off. The only thing I can do is keep moving. Either until they give up, or technology gets advanced enough so I can find a way to break this. Because I'm not going back to being these bastards' puppet, doing the dirty work for them...."
(All this and they don't even know each others' names xD)
