Ryan walks into the room and looks at John as he tosses his bag onto the bed closest to the door.

"Hello."

Ryan opens his bag and starts to unpack his things, the first thing he pulls out is his knife and places it onto his pillow, his last name is engraved into the blade.

He notices the knife, but assumes it's for protection and continues unpacking.
