Truth is what is. Facts, whether or not proven. There is only one truth to every situation, no matter how many lies there are. We are searching for the truth, whatever it may be. If it is the obvious, we wasted our time, but at least we're satisfied. If it is something hidden, this guild has accepted it as its duty to uncover the hidden truth. We don't know for certain what the truth is, which is why we're searching for it.

truth is everthing its not one sided like mind or body, light/dark, spirit/material its the unification of both.
its the whole picture not just coinvent facts.
and it can only be aquired by learning firsthand, through all ways of view. for everthing thats distorted comes from it.

Maybe in the past someone lost the definition of truth. But it is definitely the resulting knowledge of something that happened in accordance of reality. Only reality exists in ways we can't even perceive. Herp. And consciousness alone dabbles between two plains. Derp.
