Heart smiles at Livinia, happy to see a friend. After her fellow student finishes, the girl says, "I'm Heart, a second year Ravenclaw. I stayed at Hogwarts for the holidays, and I have a kitten name Pepper! I also received tons of puzzles and a journal."

 Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year
Taking a seat right in front of the teacher, she saw that the assignment was to introduce themselves to the teacher and fellow students. Easy.
She also noticed familiar faces, Scowling-Senior and that Heart girl. Not that they matter.
Antoinette impatiently waited for that blooming Heart girl to finish. After Heart did finish, Antoinette mumbled, but loud enough for Heart to hear, "Finally."
Antoinette then quickly turned to the teacher and smirked. "My name is Antoinette Machiavelli. I'm a Second Year, Oh, and I'd prefer if you'd call me Antoinette." She added obnoxiously. "And over the holidays, I was ABSOLUTELY," The word was an obvious affectation, "surprised to get everything I wanted." With a small giggle of delight, she sat back down, and readied her things for class.

"Welcome to class, Livinia. And it could not have been that weird. and very nice, Heart." Professor Kate looked at Livinia. "How about Aguamenti? Although we won't start that until later this year."

"Welcome, Antoinette." She had heard what she said after Heart was done speaking. "Please be polite to your fellow students. And that's great. The second years will be learning about Skurge and going over Hover and Incendio charms again this year."

Heart feels a presence coming in, and groans internally. Not her again... Naturally, she still smiles at the others who begin piling in, though a sinking feeling starts to weigh down her cheery heart. As if part of the last term wasn't a living nightmare...Oh well, let her be. She'll know -someday- that she's the most stuck-up and spoiled girl, ever.
Heart smiles at the Professor. "That sounds great!"

 Liviana set her bag down heavily as that girl- the same one from last year's Flying Lessons- mocked Heart. She would have none of that this year. She nimbly pulled out three items from her bag: parchment, a brand new quill, and an inkwell with fresh ink. Yes, these were the things that made school so wonderful. She smiled absentmindedly until she realized the professor was addressing her.
"Oh, yes, Aguamenti would be helpful, especially in Potions or Herbology, very useful indeed," Liviana said quickly.

Seventh year Slytherin prefectDaemon entered the class swiftly, his robes flapping behind him. he'd been looking for Cloud but hadn't been able to find his girlfriend. "Sorry I am a few moments late, professor," he stated as he entered. "Small issue with a a first year."

Kate looked back at Liviana. "As for Cheering Charms, we can review them again. And just for fun, we'll turn vinegar into wine." Kate smiled remembering how much fun that was.

"Vinegar into wine?" Liviana said curiously. She knew exactly which Professor would delight in the fruits of that lesson, so to speak. Professor Akahana drank so much that widening her stock would always be welcomed.

Kate saw the look that Liviana was giving her. "I'm not completely crazy when it comes to drinking." She then turned to Daemon. "If you don't mind, could you introduce yourself to the class?"

Liviana jumped out of her musings when Professor Farmer alluded to implications she seemed to have made.
"Oh, no Professor, I would never jump to any conclusions like that when you're so new! But one Professor, well, she likes to party it up with the centaurs and to have a full bottle of firewhiskey. I was just thinking about how much she would enjoy this charm too!" Liviana said quickly.

Seventh year Slytherin prefectDaemon rose in his chair at the request, "Of cause, Professor. I'd be happy to." He spun to face his classmates gracefully. "My name is Daemon Sadi. I am a pureblood seventh year Slytherin Prefect." His eyes slid over his classmates, lingering ever so slightly longer on those he didn't know. "In this class, I hope to learn charms to help me complete the work myself and one of the new professors begun last year to make a muggle iPod work in Hogwarts."

"That sounds great. I know lots of people who could use that spell." Kate smiled. "And I knew you weren't, Liviana. Just make sure she doesn't know when we do that spell in this class." She turned back to Daemon. "Maybe in addition to going over your NEWT spells, we can try and finish the spell."
