Lerath surged into the gap left by his competitor and snapped his wings in practices formations to match the green's acrobatics. He might have gained ground going straight - but her patterns were too unpredictable to bet on that. Better to mirror her and keep pace for now.

Plexith was fine with letting his competitor wing closer to the nutty green - he satisfied himself with laying back and waiting for one of her loops to bring her close again.

Lerath continued mimicking her dance. In his focus his mind began to clear of frustrations and his movements became more precise, as if he were half anticipating her random-seeming twists and turns. In fact, he started to gain on her lithe green form.

It seemed like his competitor was starting to gain some ground on the green as well. This was not going exactly as planned - he was supposed to have already caught her by now..he was a bronze and she was a green! Forget this chasing thing she should have just flown right to him!...or maybe he was just getting a bit frustrated and eyes whirling he dove back into the fray.

One of Lerath's barrel rolls gave him a glimpse of flashing bronze, and he tucked to the right, giving up a chance to gain ground for fear of his wings fowling against the larger dragon's. At least he was doing well enough to keep the other male on edge.

Lerath roared in defiance to the bronze that was closing in and redoubled his efforts. His wings tore at the air and he tucked his limbs in, straining his neck out and throwing every bit of effort into gaining on the flirty green that had been so idly avoiding him. It wasn't a pace he would be able to hold long, but for the moment he was closing the distance and keeping pace with his competitor.

Oh my! First the bronze, now the blue were both on either side of her. With wings practically touching, Zabreth tried for going up!

Plexith ignored the blues challenging bugle, this green was far too unpredictable to spend time trying to have a spat with his challenger...besides the bet retort would be to win right? Just then the green shot up and Plexith tipped his wings quickly to follow.

Lerath's harassment might have continued - had the green not been so bloody close and did she not change her game again. As it was, she finally seemed to notice she was being chased and he became preoccupied mimicking with her sudden surge upwards.
