"You messin' with a Shiba?"   Raine barely dodged the burst of flame as he solidifyed the air underneath him to create a platform... He looked to his captain... "Thanks.. *pant*... Captain... *pant* ... but I... *pant* coulda taken him myself!" He shouted as he rushed forward again, sending a wide beam of light plasma towards the spine of the Orochi as he aimed a charged punch towards the nose of one of the Orochi's heads. "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...
Bringing the light...
The Shiba boy...
Puts up a hell of a fight!
Behind his smile, lies a beast...
Think he'll ever give up?
Not in the least!

 ◊Squad 13 Captain, Kilk Nagara◊ Kilk began to walk into the area. He saw a large Orochi standing there. He looked to the two and let out a smirk. "So this is what was here." He walked forward and looked to both of them with an emerald gaze. His hands were rested on his sheathe as began to speak. "Okay, so it looks like you both have your hands full." He let out a laugh as he took a breath.

 Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 The Orochi moved rather nimbly for their size, but even they couldn't completely dodge the beam of plasma at their spine. In defense one of the heads shot forward and took the blow, tumbling to the ground. Brother! they screamed. In fury they turned to face Raine only for one of them to be punched in the nose and an explosion to occur.
Ruka sighed and shook her head with a teasing smile on her lips "Yes. I can see how you had it all under control." She watched him charge in for a punch and disappeared before reappearing next to him with her own fist lashing out. They hit the head of one of the Orochi in perfect tandem and Ruka winced as they were blown back from the resulting explosion. She landed on her feet and grimaced as she realized she'd lost her hair tie to the fight, she brushed her hair back as best she could before settling easily into a battlestance with her katana "Let me give you a hand."
Then in a lower voice so only he could hear "They were my friends too, Raine. I'm fighting with you, whether you like it or not." she glanced up as Kilk entered and grinned "Good to see ya Kilk. I just got here actually."
The remaining four heads of the Orochi screamed as the explosion erupted. They waited for their brother to recover from the blow as they watched the newcomers. They had to end them. Kill them. Wet the earth with their blood. For their mistress. They let out a terrifying roar before charging up four blasts of red light and firing it at the trio as it combined into one enormous Cero. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart! ((@Kilk:You got bored huh? XD @Raine: Sowwy for taking so long! sweatdrop ))

"You messin' with a Shiba?" "..." Raine said nothing as his Captain insisted she would fight alongside him. He was blinded by fury. "Fine..." he admitted, but refused to say anything else. The Orochi began to charge a Cero, a large red beam of plasma light generating as Ruka and Raine were talking to Kilk. Within mere millisieconds, an enormous beam of red light burst outwards, headed straight towards the two of them...
"No!!!" Raine screamed turning around and pushing both his captain and Kilk out of the way.... He accepted the full blast of the Cero, disappearing within moments as he was literally forced into the ground... All that had been left there was a hole and smoke billowing from the opening...
Only silence remained... "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...
Bringing the light...

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 The Orochi stared at the spot where the Light Child had been before... and started laughing. It was more like a roar than anything else, but it echoed through the forest nonetheless. Their arrogance restored, they threw back their heads and roared triumphantly into the night.
Ruka stared in disbelief at the spot where her Lieutenant and one of her oldest friends had been before. "Raine... this isn't funny." she said softly. When she had no response she closed her eyes and cast her senses around frantically for his signature.
Nothing.
Her hands shook, the chain connecting the twin katana rattling softly in her grip. The space around her began to rise in temperature, the air shimmering with the heat. A slow smile crossed her lips "You shouldn't have done that." The Captain of Squad 9 raised her head and opened green eyes burning with an inner fire and full of hatred and fury "You son of a b***h..."
She slashed the air before her viciously and an enormous wave of flame swept out "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!"
The Orochi payed no attention to the Flame Child and the Written Child, only gloating in its triumph. He's dead! The murderer of our brothers is dead! they laughed. A sudden force came at them and they screamed as the fire decorated their body. The retreated quickly, forcing out their own spiritual power to put out the flames as quickly as possible before growling and turning to face the remaining Children.
There was work to be done. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart! (( This song ish perfect for this! =D @Raine: Alright where is he? XD ))

"You messin' with a Shiba?" Several moments of dead silence slipped on past as the the smoke from the hole where Raine had once stood drifted and cleared away... unveiling the deep crater in the ground... Nothing could be seen... it was too far in and would only appear black due to the darkness of the sky.
Then, suddenly, what appeared to be a soft shimmer of light began to glow from within the hole... The light grew brighter and brighter, almost as bright as the sun as the pure-white beam casted a flow upon the faces of the Orochi... Green reiatsu poured from the hole, spinning out in a furious array of fury as the cyclone of green light grew wider and wider... Raine stepped out from the hole, in tattered robes and scarred skin... his eyes pure black and his brows furiously twisted. He seemed near un-human almost, his face so angry that it did not seem like the same Raine everyone knew... His black-brown hair was swaying furiously around his bleeding face as his jaw was clenched in undefinable fury... Time seemed to slow, and the wind that flew around Raine gave him a much more dramatic appearance... He was no longer merely the Lieutenant of Squad 9... his vessels protruded from his skull, pumping as adrenaline rushed through them...
With the deep roar of a true Shiba male, Raine yelled out the command that would ensure the end of the battle...
"BAN..... KAI!!!!"
His fury had him blinded, and he could no longer keep control of himself. Green reiatsu burst forward from his blade in a titanic tidal wave of green plasma, as the light began to grow to the point where it was blinding for others... Raine subconsciously granted Ruka and Kilk his same eyesight, so they could see within the light... The plasma separated into four even columns.
Raine turned to look at his captain... there was obviously no joke present in Raine's face as his eyes seemed to glare at her. "Let's finish this."
Within seconds, the green plasma molded into an enormous dome of green plasma surrounding themselves and the Orochi... "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...
Bringing the light...

Not in the least!((as you can see, Raine has become beyond pissed.... XD))

Mika watched as the two captain's battled the Orochi. "Hm, so tThese are the one of the new captain's and Lieutenanats,......Still they could never beat the old captain's and lieutenant's of my day, their still to young" He said as he watched Raine release his Bankai.He then looked to Ruka 'Whoa....she's quite pretty' He thought as he watched her battle the Orochi, he didnt even bother hiding his reiatsu.

Raine is not a Captain lol he is a lieutenant. His shikai is actually really strong for a lieutenant's. In any case, its spelt "pretty" not "pritty" XD

◊Squad 13 Captain, Kilk Nagara◊ Kilk looked over to Raine and was thrown out of the way with Ruka. "What are you do-" He watched as the Cero flew in and hit Raine. He slid his hand into the ground and pushed up off the ground landing on his feet. "Raine!" He looked over to Ruka as he let out a deep breath. He couldn't see or feel anything from Raine as he looked to the ground. He heard Ruka scream and he looked up to her. He was ready to back her up, but that was all he was going to do. Having a Captain on offense was enough. He had not pulled his blade from its sheathe yet and hopefully he wouldn't have to. "Ruka! Stay calm, you can't win with a clouded head!"Kilk then heard a voice come from the crater that was made. He classified it as Raine. "But... How!? Oh well thank heavens he is still alive!" He watched as Raine activated his Bankai. He stood back and looked to the newcomer who entered the area. He jumped over to the man who and began to speak. "Hello, it's nice to meet you. Quite an interesting fight right?"

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 The Orochi roared in surprise as the light surrounded them. The four heads moved frantically as they tried to see, shutting their "eyes" against the pain of the light. All that escaped them was an inhuman roar as they charged their Ceros and shot them around the dome randomly.
Ruka whipped around to glare furiously at Kilk. Her eyes were full of fury but were also filled with a deadly focus "Believe me. I am perfectly calm." she growled. She knew better than to let anger get the best of her, but that didn't mean she didn't know how to use it. She glanced over at her lieutenant as he came out of the crater and nodded "With pleasure." Her twin blades lit up with flame and she sent a fire twister spinning right at the Orochi. In the back of her mind she noticed the newcomer but chose to ignore him for the moment.
Her twister clashed with one of the ceros and she burst through the cloud of smoke to lash out at the Orochi.
The Orochi were furious, but they felt the retaliation. They turned in the direction they thought they could sense the Fire Child only to be met with another wave of fire. They growled and stomped at the ground before charging forward. They felt grim satisfaction as they slammed into the Fire Child before they encountered the wall of the dome and screamed in pain. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

Just as the battle was reaching a boiling point, a miniature Garganta suddenly opened within a tree as a Hell Butterfly flew out, fluttering to capture the Captain and Lieutenant's attention... It landed on a branch as a message began to play through their minds...
"My sincerest apologies for interrupting your daytime activities. This is the zanpakuto spirit of Squad Zero Captain Hisana Kurosaki, Megami no Zetsumei. The New Year's party that was supposed to be held within the newly built Squad Zero Barracks has been cancelled, due to severely fatal circumstances. We ask that every Captain of the Gotei 13 and the members of the Kuchiki Clan to immediately report to the Kuchiki Manor for a funeral, for we have lost one of the most important souls in Soul Society's history. Bring your respect with you... Rest in peace, Rukia Kuchiki."
The message stopped.
