Dante looked up at the massive building in front of him as he exited the squad car's front seat. He reached down into the car and pulled out a medium sized black duffel bag, throwing the strap over his shoulder and resting the bag itself on his hip. He smiled at the driver, the Satan City Police Chief, and gave him a thumbs up before pulling himself up and closing the door. As he turned to walk away, he heard the car window open slowly, so he turned back around.

"You'll do just fine, Pearse. You're the most advanced fighter in the Force, far above anyone we've got. If anyone's going to benefit from this special training, it'll be you," the chief said from his spot in the drivers seat, his burly voice emanating loudly, even without him having to throw his voice. Dante nodded in thanks before turning around once more to walk up the steps to the Academy.

Life in a cave. Seclusion...the only company being your own thoughts, your own voice...your own demons...This was not a life that suited a social butterfly like Dante Pearse. Yet this was the life he chose, the life he felt he needed, after the death of his father. A death he felt that, with all his strength and newfound power, he could have prevented.

The young man grabbed a crumpled pack of cigarettes that lay next to him, and removed a stick from it's box. He was fortunate to have found a near full pack, probably dropped from a hunter's pocket or discarded by a citizen that was looking to quit. He brought the cigarette to his lips, and snapped his fingers quickly. Nothing happened...Sighing slightly, he snapped again...and again...both times there was nothing but the sound of his fingers clicking together. Taking a slow breath as to not get too frustrated, he closed his eyes, concentrated his energy, and snapped again. This time, a small orange flame sparked into life just above his fingertips, glowing gently in the dank cave. He smiled proudly to himself, before inhaling and lighting the cigarette, breathing in the smoke from the end of the filter. Looking to the side as he exhaled, he brought the flame up higher, and focused further. The small ember rose in intensity, forming a small sphere of fiery energy. He aimed at a small log to the side of him, and released the ball upon the moist wood. The energy collided with the log, and set it ablaze quickly. He took another hit from the cigarette, before adjusting his body to sit in front of the now crackling fire. He delved back into his own thoughts for a moment;

it took four tries for him to spark a small flame, what made him think he could focus long enough to use the same power to have saved his own father? He was knowledgeable in martial arts, some could even say he was an expert in some forms. He could even manipulate his own energy, and use it as an additional weapon in a fight...yet when the chips were down, when the pressure was on him, he buckled. He couldn't summon his own strength long enough to make a difference...Sometimes, he felt he deserved to be alone...Perhaps the cave was his true home, away from the outside world...

An older gentleman stood at the doorway as Dante reached the top step of the Academy. He seemed a venerable man, with long white hair and a slight grey stubble upon his cheeks. As the man smiled, a dull pain rose in Dante's head. He could feel the man's energy surrounding him, seemingly pulsating with his now growing headache. Dante bowed out of respect and of habit, as the old man rose his hand. "Mr. Pearse, i presume?" the old man spoke gently. "We've been expecting you. Come, I am here to commence your training. You are to begin immediately." Dante nodded at this, and followed close behind the old man as he stepped into the Academy's halls.

"Now, exactly what training have you undergone, Mr. Pearse?" the man asked as he turned the second corner in the hallway.

"Dante, please, sir," he began, shuddering slightly at the title of 'Mr. Pearse.' He wasn't a fan of formalities such as that, it had always made him uncomfortable. "And I've been training in many arts my whole life. I started in Kaju-Kembo Karate, Jujitsu and Aikido, and earned black belts in all three. I took many lessons in Kickboxing and Judo in my teens, but never progressed past Green in either. I started training in Five Animal Kung Fu and Qigong in the past five years, but most of what i know from there has been self taught from old books and text scrolls that i found during my time alone..." he trailed off, realizing that he not explained anything about his personal life to any member of the Academy, yet the man did not seem to skip a beat.

The old man nodded slightly in acknowledgment. "Yes, your self-seclusion in the mountainside. Worry not, I've been informed of your time there. From what I've been told, and judging by the patch on your gi, it seems you found one of Master Muten Roshi's old training sites..." The man was certainly perceptive; for upon Dante's open Black Gi was a small patch that read "Turtle" in Japanese Kanji, a patch he had in fact found scattered among the numerous martial arts texts that resided in the cave with him. "And who instructed you of what you know of Chi-Control, Dante? I've been informed that you are adept in certain areas of it..."

"Self taught as well, sir..."

The man's eyes seemed to light up with excitement. "Self taught, you say? Fascinating...not many people are able to learn those ways through text and seclusion alone..." he trailed off as the two entered a large padded room, and the man closed the door behind Dante as he entered.

"I guess you could say it came naturally to me, sir..." Dante replied, putting his bag down at the doorway, and removing his shoes and socks. The old man smiled at this, and took to the center of the room.

"Very good. That is a treat not many can lay claim to. Now, show me what you know..." he finished, taking a low stance and raising his arms slightly, keeping his hands open and bladed. As he did so, Dante's head pounded a little harder, and he cringed slightly. The old man noticed his discomfort, and rose slightly. "Interesting. You can sense energy as well, can you not?"

Dante nodded, rubbing his temple slightly with his right hand. "Yes sir...at least i think so...I could feel your power as i approached you...and just now i could feel it wash over me..."

"You're not yet used to this gift, though. It gives you headaches? Makes your body tense up? Clouds your vision slightly?" he interrogated.

"Yes...all of those..."

The old man smiled once more. "It will pass in time, and through training. Now, come, show me what you know..." With that, the man sat back into his stance. Dante nodded, dropping into his own unique stance, and focused his energy, emptying his mind of all else, except combat...The old man smiled once more, realizing he alone was feeling his new student's power rise, unbeknownst even to Dante himself...

"Now...BEGIN!"

Getting over the sudden departure of his weird instructor, Zehl found a fairly quiet place by himself and had a seat. After pushing a bit of annoyance at the instructor's behavior aside, he calmed down and decided to try a bit of self meditation.

He closed his eyes for a few seconds and focused on using his other senses, trying to pick things out like other people as they moved around. It took a bit of effort to get it right, but his timing was impeccable. He sensed something and pushed himself to the side to just avoid a kick from the instructor who had left him alone so recently.

"Excellent!" The man said with another thumbs up. I knew you had the drive to learn by yourself! Gah ha ha!!!

Zehl rolled his eyes with a bit of a frown. "You know, a real instructor would teach, not just make someone do their chores, ruin their lunch and then leave them."

"Well in your case it worked. You sensed my attack, so it's a start! And now, I shall teach you how to boost your power... It works like this." The instructor did a little motion with his hands, and indeed Zehl could feel a little burst. The instructor relaxed and said, "Now, you try."

Resolving to do it without the goofy arm waving, Zehl relaxed slightly and focused himself and his concentration. It took some time, but eventually, it was like there was a little spark of increase. Not much of one, but it was a start.

After some more practice at it, he had improved in both the speed and quality of the ability. The instructor looked pleased and said, "Good! You're well on your way now, and there are others you could learn from! I have more new students to instruct, so take your time and enjoy this place before moving on. Farewell!" And with that, the instructor left again.

Zehl sighed and walked away from the secluded spot back into the main area of the academy. He hoped that would be the last time he would have to deal with the strange instructor and hoped that the other people around this place were a bit less annoying.

It was early in the day that a male was walking into the academy with a look of something evil being planned. It was in the middle of the few minutes that the male had found a little training room to use for a bit. It was funny for a room like that to be here, but at the same time it was nothing more then a little bit of help and use to help him out with what he wanted to do and learn at this place. Hoe ever for Sin to be here only meant one thing, he was going to be doing something he needed to do to get his life changed and made into something more evil like. Walking around the building, sin smiled as he found something of great help to him. It was a door to the training room he was trying to look for.

Taking a break, Sin let out a small yawn only to walk over to the door of the training room. He forgot he was doing some self training to get stronger in a short amount of time to be of use to the boss, and to guard the family just in case they needed him for any reason, or for any fighting to be held in the future. Looking around the room once more, Sin walked backed over to the punching bag only to get in a weird stance. His hands at his side, and his legs apart from each other. Raising his hands to his side, he pulled them back, only to flick his left arm straight into the middle of the bag, as he did it again with his right arm. Sending them towards the middle of the bag, he smiled as he stopped a center meter away from the bag, only to lower his hands. Resting them to his side, he took a step back and raised his right leg up again. This time, he went back to kicking the bag as hard as he could with each kick, the middle of his foot getting red and more red. It didn't take to long for sin to feel in his foot the pain and rushing of the blood to stop and make it go numb. But not wanting to be a hinder to any one every again, Sin made sure he had the time, and power to stop anything and keep the family calm, since he was the rain guardian for the family. How ever, sin did feel a sharp pain in his foot only to stop kicking the bag. Looking at his foot, he noticed the skin had been ripped open from the amount of force, and power with each kick he used on it. Taking some gauze, and water, He walked over to a sink in the corner of the room placing his foot in the sink to rinse it off before drying it off with a towel. Removing his foot, he applied the gauze wrap on his foot, then he covered it with a brown wrap to cover up the gauze and had a new clean sock on over it to keep it from being seen. How ever, sin did not mind his foot being in pain, nor the fact he still needed to train his body to get stronger as well as not wanting to hold any one back even more then he is doing already. Going back to the punching bag, he let out a soft sigh, only to to take deep breaths and then them out slow like to focus and calm down his body. It was part of his training to keep his body in top shape at all time. A man like Sin would take top pride in his body, as well as it being the best weapon to use at all times. Training the body, one could obtain a reflex like no other, A strength that could be feared by all. A speed that could make a person flinch without moving a great distance. But for sin, his weapon was nothing like that at all. It was the power to be in a calm state at all times and be happy for everything around him other then what he needed the most. Not letting out a hard sounding breath, Sin looked at the bag once more before closing his eyes, slowly opening them up as he sent a left jab to the bag, then a right jab, and even a few kicks with his left foot at full power only to set in motion a little strike combo of his which did nothing to the bag.

It was a sad sight indeed for Sin to see nothing worked on the bag, but it did feel a bit good to train the body up a bit in time of great need. Not wanting to make time go by any longer, Sin would try his best to train with himself for a bit longer to make sure the spar was worth the time and effort of the training to be down. How ever for the training to be a good finish, sin would need to do something that he would never do himself as he was not all that tired, but he was in a mood to go back upstairs and get something from his bag he needed. Well, to tell the truth, he did not need anything from his bag, he just wanted to go back up stairs and get some fresh air to help out the body function right. Taking a deep breath, he only let out a yawn again before walking to the door to the training room with a smile on his face as it went and faded away. It was a nice smile, but was it real smile, or was it a fake smile. Nothing was going to be seen by the people anymore around him. He was going to smile when needed, talk for some time, hell, even sin would try to do something other then train everyday to get better and better. It was a waste of time, but it was also a good way to train a body in no time or less to get where you want it to go right. Well sin was wrong on that part, in order to get a strong body, one must have a strong heart and a strong will. With out having those, no one would get where they are going and neither would be able to get the things they desire from one another. Opening the door from the training room, sin walked out making sure not to apply to much pressure to his foot. Walking out of the room,he smiled as he went up stairs and let out a soft yawn.

It was only a few hours that had passed by and sin was already feeling a little better about himself, it was how ever not in his way to be letting a little pain like this in his foot get to him. It was also a way for him to get better at what he wanted to do when the time called for him to use his power to help take over the world or not. It was just something he had his mind on when he left the Academy and went to the next place he needed to be called at.

From the very embryonic state of this odd android that had been created, almost exactly for the sole purpose of battle. This being, having been created in such a way as for it to be able to emerge into this world, with it's scientifically created body in order to head forth and begin taking over whatever he may. Now, with science reaching this kind of interval and allowing for the creation of a new variation of the first Cell which had caused havoc years before. This new breed was being introduced into the realm, and from how it appeared it's first steps would be to head forth and begin their life long battle within the world. Starting first in the Academy, which seemed to be something that would pose a challenge all in itself. Thus this new means of training was something that he had not entirely been prepared for, though he would adapt and begin his training as soon as he was able, he was perfectly prepared to head forth and take on whoever was to cross his path, in order to begin the art of war that he had full intentions of causing.

Turning his first look upon the Academy, his gaze would slowly fall upon the younger children who were casually playing upon the playground equipment. Grinning as he casually raises a white and black claw like hand upwards, three knives swiftly being raised in one hand, and then slung forwards in order to be slammed into the backs of three swinging children, the resounding force of the knives striking their backs would cause the actual bodies to slump over onto the swings that they were upon, causing them to hang limply and slide across the ground face first before falling off the swings. Moving forwards in order to retrieve his knives, the male android slowly turns his attention upon the other possible opponent that was within this location. They were training? Or other some such idea had been in their mind, before Reaver had come into the area. Now that he was here, he had full mind to cause a little more of a situation then need be before hand. Kneeling for a moment in order to retrieve the knives from the now limb bodies of the deceased he had just killed, he slowly rises to his feet and looks forwards, the needle like tipped tail behind him, plunging into the body of the deceased, and then seeming to suck the entire body into the small needle like tube in order to cause the body to disappear from sight, into the tail itself. With a resounding grin forming on his face, and his black tongue sliding from his lips in order to slip across them, Reaver begins his movement towards the man not too far away within the park. Shifting the knives in his hand, he simply prepares the obvious, Slinging the knives forwards as he leaps forwards himself. Moving swiftly across the ground in order to make distance behind his own thrown knives. Before he would use the distraction of the knives in order to send a plunging claw like hand forwards for the man's gut, in order to apply a nice piercing damage if successful. His other hand would smoothly retrieve the greatsword from his side, drawing it forward and aiming a slash of the blade towards the other male, in an attempt to cleave the second male apart with ease alone.

A simple laugh escaped the odd males lips as he watches his initial strike of the blade by simply knocking it down or some such nonsense? The issue would be the man had spent quite a deal of time yelling and whatever else after he had blocked Reaver's strike. Grinning as he appears to be struck by the effects of his opponents strikes. Of course by the time the opponent had followed through with their attacks, the vision of Reaver would have faded away. Leaving only an after image in it's wake, as the true Reaver rounded his attack around with a spiraling slice of the weapon he held in his hand. The great sword moving fluently, as if it weighed nothing at all, it's large blade dicing across the air and aiming to slide directly through the air and the opponent that the blade was aiming for. After images were quite interesting to be used, with such an ability Reaver's speed was certainly enhanced to a degree. Moving with graceful ease, he produces another knife from where it's hidden and plunging the knife towards the man's stomach in an attempt to gut him clean in a seconds notice. Grinning as he moves forwards, he prepares himself, attacks like that would not be something that would continue on so easily against him, this man may be a tad stronger but they were not going to take the upper hand. With the use of his after image, he had successfully dodge the knife that was thrown back in his direction from the other opponent, hopefully they can get up close in order to take him out as well.

The entire act of heading towards an opponent and blindly swinging any sort of weapon was well and good, but having the strength enough to continue forwards and make it through attacks was something else entirely. Continuing to grin his wicked little grin, as he notices the blood on one of his two blades, he was not entirely ready for the blinding flash that was to follow his attack. As his opponent declared something into the air, while moving up into the air, Reaver looked up in order to follow him. As he looked up, the flash from the Solar flare technique would cause him to know his head down again, looking down and bringing one arm up to his eyes in order to allow him to more quickly deal with the effects of being blinded momentarily by such a light. As such, he was for the time unable to clearly see anything that was going on around him, though with the use of a handy little technique known as sense, he was capable of locating his opponent rather quickly. Having his eyes closed like this, was a better way for him to fine tune his locating ability, and be more able to rely on his senses themselves instead of normal sight based sensing in order to find the opponent and easily continue the assault upon them. Although he had brought himself to lose a few minor seconds from fighting the opponent and taking their life, he had easily become able to locate them with more then one such ability. Thus making this battle all the more easy in order to continue to draw that nice fresh blood that he required. Although flight was something that he was not fully capable of at this time, it was still something he could easily become able to do in the near future. With his odd lips turning to a grin once again, he takes this time as his eyesight slowly came back, in order to run his black tongue across the blade of weapon, taking the blood off of it, as he slowly becomes capable of seeing once again. With his senses as they were, he was prepared to defend against the opponent in case they were going strike against him when they believed him to be blind and as such, vulnerable, though in most senses he was just that. His preparations and fine tuning for battle would continue, while he simply took the stance of a man who had been stunned by such an attack. At a last minded effort, he slashes with his Greatsword directly upwards, in order to attempt to catch the opponent when they come down for a possible offensive physical strike.

With the opponent now raining down upon him, Reaver had the simple solution which would allow him to continue with this battle. Diving down in order to strike and attempt to deal some damage upon Reaver, Reaver casually drew his blade up and brought and underlying slash forwards in order to slide the large blade through the enemy as if the enemy's flesh was nothing more then warm butter. The spray of blood splashing down onto Reaver's face and across his clothing made a smile slowly creep across his face once again. With either half of the opponent's body striking the ground, Reaver's tail slowly slid around his body, plunging the blade like almost needle based tip into one half of the body, absorbing it into himself, before stabbing the other side into the other half of the body, in order to finish absorbing it with ease. Turning his back to the other male for a moment, he strolls over to the other remaining children that were laying upon the ground where he had left them. His tail plunging into the body of the first child, with the plunging of the needle like tail into the body, the body would soon be absorbed into the tail, and Reaver's body within moments. Turning his attention to the other body, he then repeats the process in order to absorb the last body and soon bring his attention upon the other male. Conveniently enough, the knife that had been thrown in his direction was nearby, lifting it up, he turns and chucks it at full force in the other male's direction. The blade aiming to plunge into the chest of the other man and finish him rather quickly. He chuckles and heads towards the man, moving with the use of his Afterimage technique in order to appear directly before the male just after the blade would plunge into him and bring him that much closer to death. Rearing around, the tail he bore would slide up and slam into the man's stomach, raising him up quickly into the air and holding him there with ease. Grinning Reaver begins the absorption process in order to absorb this male as well, these acts were simple, and that was what he planned to continue with his fighting style. Grinning, Reaver soon drops whatever remained of the corpse and begins heading away from the area. He was about done here, it was close to time to head out into the real world and begin his adventure. With this final assault on a small little park associated around the Academy, Reaver then began his movement towards the exit of which this place held. He wasn't planning to remain here even a second longer, when he could be out and about wrecking havoc or other such violence in the world beyond this Academy. Grinning he walks from the area, a simple flick of hi Greatsword being the last action he would do as he removes the blood from it before sliding it back into it's sheath at his waist. He was perfectly ready now for this new chapter of his life, it was time for the death and chaos to begin.

Hedoro opened her eyes slowly, taking in her surroundings. Leaves. That was all that she could see. She could feel she was on her side, had she fallen asleep? She lurched upright, and felt the world spin for a moment. Leaves fell off of her, and she realized she must have been at least partially buried in them. Odd. A moment later, something odder still occurred. She felt her insides roil, almost as if there was- as if there was something alive within her! Her eyes went wide in an instant, as memories of what had happened just before she blacked out returned to her. She bent over and tried to vomit, but it was no use. Already, she could feel the struggles slowing, slowing, stopping. It was over. She would have cried, if she could, but she wasn't made for that, she couldn't cry. She still felt sorrow over what she had done. And, though she hated herself for it, some satisfaction, some feeling of lightness as the hunger within her was finally silenced, if even for a short time. She instinctively knew it wouldn't last long.

She lurched to her feet, suddenly unsteady as she began pressing on in her journey. Suddenly, she didn't want to remain here. It felt like the forest itself was watching her, judging her for what she had done. She raced forward, dodging past the trees, their branches almost like claws reaching out to stop her, make her pay for what she had done. The guilt began to eat away at her, just as the hunger had before. Would she never find peace? Would it always be hovering between hunger and guilt, was there no other option?

She finally burst free from the forest, and looked around wildly. She saw lights in the distance, but rather than shy away, she headed toward them. There, int he city, she would be under watch, people would stop her if she tried to do... that, again. She would be safe, safe from herself. She didn't know how long she could hold off her hunger, but she would do her best to not give in, not become a monster.

The city was still some distance away and soon she was feeling tired again. She slowed to a walk, focusing on putting one foot in front of another. The voice she had heard before had remained blissfully silent, she didn't have to hear it speaking into her ear about how she had done the right thing, about how it was her right to do what she had done. She couldn't believe that! Her parents had been good, decent people! They had tried to teach her the right way to live, that it was not alright to turn people or animals into candy. And while she hadn't done that, somehow, what she had done felt so much worse.

Yet, you are already thinking about when it will happen again... Hedoro shook her head wildly, trying not to listen to the voice. But it was no use, it was impossible to not hear it, it was from within her own head. It continued to whisper sweet promises of how glorious it would feel to devour a larger target, something that could fight back but still succumbed. She didn't want to hear it, she didn't even want to think about it, but she couldn't stop herself. Her imagination began going out of control as she visualized all sorts of targets, each gradually increasing in size, ability... and sentience. She almost screamed when she was forced to see herself consuming a child who had dared to get too close to her. It was too much! Was she fated to become a monster, something that preyed upon intelligent life like a foul beast? She didn't want that, but the words the voice said, they felt so right...

She realized she had stopped moving forward, and looked around. Her eyes widened when she realized she had already reached the city. She didn't know which city until she saw the billboard nearby. It proclaimed she had reached West City. So, after all she had been through, she had made it after all? She almost laughed, but forced herself to remain silent by pressing a fist to her mouth. She knew if she laughed it would be hysterical laughter, rising higher and higher until she couldn't breathe. But it wouldn't be funny.

She paused, a moment of indecision. Did she still want to go through with this? Did she really want to enter this city, home to the Training Academy? She would become a stronger fighter, there was no doubt about that. But was that a good thing? Normally she wouldn't even hesitate in saying yes. But now? Now, knowing the sort of hunger she possessed? Now, she didn't know. She likely would have remained in that position, undecided, for hours, if the choice wasn't made for her.

Even without willing herself to, she began moving forward. "Wha- what's happening?" She tried to stop herself, tried to make her legs stop moving. But it was no use, they kept moving her forward. Realization soon hit, and she yelled silently into her mind. -Let me go, stop doing this!- Not a chance, you need to become stronger. Even if I have to make you become stronger... Hedoro continued to struggle futilely for several blocks before finally giving up. She didn't know how, but the voice in her head had control of her legs, she was going to that Academy whether she wanted to or not. As she felt herself moved forward like a puppet, she eventually gave up, and began trying to move forward under her own power. Control returned to her, but she was under no illusions about it's permanence. She knew if she tried going the wrong way she would be forcibly corrected. Better she go under her own power, at least let her hold her head high that she was facing her destiny.

She finally reached the Academy and stood still, watching it for a moment. So this was it. She was going to go in, be trained in the ways of combat, and become a better fighter. Once she was stronger, she would go out into the world, and eventually give in to her hunger. And since she would be stronger, there was no telling who might fall to her and be consumed. Children? The elderly? Married couples? Other fighters? Wait, that was it! If she went after strong fighters, they might be able to defeat her, and end her hunger permanently! She knew she wouldn't be able to give up and let them finish her off, but if she intentionally went after the very strong, that might work. The voice in her head might let her get away with that much, at least. It was something, something better than just going out and preying upon those weaker than her.

Day 1: Flight.
__________________________________________________________
Bubbles walked into the academy "So my parents are finally making me train." Bubbles sighed
"Aye, they did and wanted me to personally teach you," A voice said, "I am your instructor, call me Doreiku"
"So you are the guy who will be teaching me, Doreiku. Well what will we be learning about first?" Bubbles questioned.
"Well first we will be teaching you how to fly so you can get from place to place faster" Doreiku began the lesson and Bubbles just stood watching him "You will need to bend the Ki around your body allowing it to lift you up, it is possibly the easiest thing to learn in all of my lessons so do you want to begin."
"I guess" Bubbles got into a position with his feet shoulders length apart, his elbows at a thirty degree angle, and his hands crunched into a fist and began to try to picture his self flying. Bubbles stayed in that position for a while and Doreiku finally laughed "Bubbles you are not doing any part of this right"
"What!" Bubbles exploded, "could you have told me that earlier!"
"Actually I figured you were smart enough to figure out you were doing it wrong," Doreiku answered then began to explain, "Once again you have to use your Ki and form it around yourself, to get your Ki to do this you must calm yourself and release your inner energy, your feelings, emotion, and power. When you feel this focus it around you and push it up into the air but keep it around you, allow no holes in it for if you do you may fall."
"Well I can sort of understand that better"
"I suppose but don't worry it can take hours, days, or months but you should be able to do it by tonight."
"Okay I will begin to try" Bubbles got back into his original position and focused on Doreiku's words then a pink aura started to form around him and lifted slightly off of the ground then fell back to the ground and the aura faded. Doreiku laughed and instead of standing Bubbles got onto the floor into a medatating position and began from there he closed his eyes and after ten minutes his aura started to appear again. He started to levitate and stayed in a position about a foot off of the ground up untill Doreiku interupted, "Okay now that you can stay up you need to learn to move. Its easy now that you can stay like in the air for so long, just push the energy thats behind you to go forward, and the energy infront of you, push backwards to go backwards. It is the same with the sides."
"Well that seems simple enough" Bubbles said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Bubbles rose into a standing position but still a foot off of the ground. He slowly moved forward but started to jerk around a bit when trying to rise. After slowly adjusting his position he flew forward fastly only to hit a wall. "Heh, I guess I should give people more credit its harder than it looks, but may I ask why does every one fly like they are laying down when they could fly standing up like I was?" Bubbles asked.
"Well your speed increases but that has to do with aerodynamics." Doreiku answered the question and Bubbles just nodded. Bubbles continued to practice it and soon after the sun set he had learned how to fly at a pace equal to an average humans running speed.

Over the next few days, Hedoro threw herself into her studies. She was taught the basics of combat. She was taught how to sense her own Ki, and to a certain extent, the Ki of others. Manipulation of her Ki, and using it to bolster her natural abilities. Not all of her abilities as a Majin, of course, but the basics that anyone trained to the proper level could perform. She secretly hoped that if she studied hard enough, she'd gain enough discipline to be able to ignore that voice, to stop it from taking over again. She had yet to test her hope, however. Perhaps she was simply afraid that if she tried and failed, the voice would be on guard against any further attempts, and her chance would be lost? Though it was true, the voice had been quiet once she had started her training, perhaps it was satisfied with how she was growing?

She had felt the hunger stirring up, but so far it had yet to reach those dark depths it had before, when she had gave in and succumbed. She hoped to be gone from this place before it reached that level again, but she had no way of knowing how far along in her training she actually was. It could be several more weeks before she was allowed to leave. Or it could be only another day.

She stepped back from the platform she had been perched upon, for the latest in the seemingly never-ending series of drills. She had been working almost constantly, only stopping for a few hours at night to sleep, nothing else. The others seemed unsure of her never stopping to eat. Especially because she was a Majin, their love for sweets was practically legendary. But every time someone brought the matter up, her entire demeanor seemed to change. Normally serious, but not unfriendly, she would instantly go to cold and almost hostile until they relented and went away. Eventually the others stopped asking, leaving her to work through mealtimes alone. That suited her, the less reminders of her problem, the better.

She finally sat down, breathing a bit heavily. As far as the instructors seemed to think, she was finished with her lessons. Each task had been completed, each drill practiced until perfected. Each technique that they had set before her, she had learned and made her own. It had not been easy. It seemed each time that she gained more knowledge and power, she became that much more aware of the Ki of the others around her. Or, as her Inner Voice called it, others' 'Tasty-o-meters'. She would have been mortified to smile at such a grim joke days ago, but as she had gained in strength, so too had she gained wisdom. Not enough to truly accept what she was, but enough to be at peace with what she would eventually have to do. Her Inner Voice had to be aware of this change, but it seemed to not mind it. Perhaps an understanding had been forged between the two of them. She would resist her hunger for as long as she could, and her Inner Voice would push her on to give in to it. This rivalry of sorts would drive her to become stronger, and in so doing, both sides would potentially gain what they sought, an edge over the other.

But now her training had finished. She gave her thanks to her instructor, bowing deeply while she still had control. She made no move to speak to her fellow students, knowing better than to tempt her other half with weaker or more accessible targets. If she drew closer to any of them, her other half might take that to think her hunger was getting the better of her, and take action. She couldn't do that, not to one of the other young hopefuls. They would get to go on their way, and if fortune was kind to them, they would never cross her path again. If they did, she would likely be unable to stop herself.

There was nothing else for her here, she would have to return to her home, to Satan City. That was the next logical step in her training, to go and spend time studying under other Majin, to learn and master the techniques that set them apart from any of the other races. She wasn't looking forward to it, however, as that meant she would assuredly encounter her parents. She would be obligated to tell them of her troubles. She didn't know how they would react, but the idea that they might be disappointed in her hurt in a way no physical injury could. But it had to be done. If she dallied much longer, the choice might be taken from her. So she simply nodded once more to her instructor, and turned to leave the Academy. This short vacation from her troubles had been pleasant in it's own right, but now it was time to return to her true struggle, the one against herself. She would likely never win, but hopefully neither would she lose. A stalemate would be for the best.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student

It had taken some convincing and saving up on her part but the humanoid cat was finally in West City and had arrived at the doorsteps of it's academy. From what she had understood, this was the place to go for all who wished to go to the various martial art schools in the world. Well, at least the important ones that the Z fighters came from or had created. It had been a near no brainer to pick one of the schools, Nyx was not a stealthy type, was not into killing, certainly not a swordsman, and since Crane school mostly dealt with psychic and sort of lame attacks, the most fitting school for the orange cat was Kame House.

Yet first step was first, coming to the West City academy and learning the basics. From what Nyx had heard, there were plenty that were useful and Nyx was determined to learn them all. Or at least all of the important ones that she would use. Which was why she was up bright and early to start learning and training right away.

Having left her room, she was pointed in the direction of where her teacher would be. She walked out to an open area out back where obviously plenty of training took place. Her tutor was another humanoid animal, this one was a large bear with golden brown fur and one eye missing. He looked pretty gruff but it did not bother Nyx, if she lived with her two older brothers for years and survived then she could handle whatever this guy threw at her. Already her teacher was looking her over, not seeming very impressed by what he was given to work with. "If you couldn't already guess, I'm your teacher Mr. Yamada. You're a fresh recruit so I don't expect much yet. This academy is filled with different rooms to train and you get a personal tutor, that's me. Don't think your first day will be a chance to relax."

Nodding her head she said "Of course, sir. What are we going to start off with today?" A bit interested that the other was serious in getting right to it the male said. "We're starting with the basic of basics in how to control ki. Flying. All I have to teach you is one trick to pass and that's usually an important one." Interested the cat said "Flying... sounds fun. And I plan to learn more than just one technique, Mr. Yamada." Nodding, the large bear went on to explain how to concentrate ki in a person's feet to help them fly or levitate. "Get to it kid." walking over to a low wall, he took a seat to watch the cat try. It was not easy for Nyx, she was more a punching and fighting type but she was presented with a challenge so she would not quit.

With help from her tutor, she finally got the technique down after days of trying and concentrating. It took her longer to do since she was more of a physical person when it came to fighting. Sure she had meditated but she had never really used ki before. When she finally had it down, the next to learn on the list was ki sensing. That involved her going around for days and being ambushed by Mr. Yamada until she could finally sense him coming and dodge. After learning how to concentrate ki and fly, this was a bit more easier to get the hang of since she was learning to focus better. Now for the next technique.

Day 2: Work
__________________________________________________________

"Well Bubbles today you work, see even with all the power in the universe you would still need money so we are going to get you a job. Come on fly with me the location is slightly out of the city." Doreiku established.
"Sounds fine" Bubbles agrees still tired out about what happened yesterday, but after Doreiku flew into the sky and down south Bubbles followed closely. "So where are we going, like where did you get me a job at?" Bubbles asks
"Well you will be halling raw material such as logs, stones, and also doing it all without any equipment. It is a common method of training and making money." As Doreiku finishes this sentence he lands on a contruction site and a man with a hard hat walks up to them "So you are who will be helping me eh," the man said "I am the man in charge here you can just call me boss or sir."
"Yes, sir," Bubbles replies.
"Well I will be going now," Doreiku laughs flying off and shouting, "Have fun."
"So kid first off I will need you to carry all of these bricks moved over to that crane." The boss ordered.
Bubbles nodded and picked up the first two bricks which he then groaned at how heavy they were, he trudged across the ground but after a while he got use to how heavy they were and began to get faster at his job. Soon around mid-day he took off for lunch every one else had sandwitches, except for himself who was eating a box of donuts. Some of the other workers laughed but Bubbles went on his way back to the boss who told him "Hah, great ready to work, I like that kid I couldn't get those bums off their butts if the world was ending"
"Yes so anything harder than the last job you need done." Bubbles smiled
"Infact yes that blasted machine is broke and we need to get those bricks you moved to the top of the steel structure."
"Well I was looking for something harder but, this will do."
"Ha ha ha, kid what do you mean thats 9 stories of stares."
"Stares are a waste of time, remember I can fly."
"Oh man I nearly forgot you could. You can get to work then" The boss said as he walked away and Bubbles flew over to the bricks he had sat down recently and one by one flew them to the top. Everyonce in a while the workers climbing the stares would stop and stair at him. Soon the sun was a hour away from setting and Bubbles had just finished the work. The boss walked over to him and patted him on the back, "Kid you finished the work it would have tooken my men to do in two weeks in a day. You are dismissed but don't be afraid to come back any time my boy."
"Will do sir," Bubbles laughed as he shook the bosses hand then flew off into the distance.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student

It had been about over two since she had started her training at the academy and during that time she had learned how to fly and sense ki. Well, that was the first week at least, the second week was spent refining both techniques so she could fly higher and more smoothly while also better sensing ki as best as she could. Mr. Yamada had been on her for hours, helping her learn and giving ideas about the rest of the techniques that could be learned. The way he was helping her was by building and very simple basics that would make tougher skills easier to learn later on. It was all worth it and it was fairly fun, Nyx was confident she would be off to Kame house in no time.

Next to learn was another simple technique that would be crucial to battle, the ki blast. This one was a bit harder but having learned greater focus while here, the technique was fairly easy to get down, it merely took time. She just had to focus ki in the palm of her hand and then learn to fire it. It was more complex than learning to fly but it did not deter Nyx. Besides, she was eager to learn this technique and then learn the next one. The cat was a bit impatient when it came to training, she just wanted to learn it all quick and practice it and use it. Maybe it was not good to cram it all in but she had always managed to learn that way just fine regardless of what people might say.

After she had learned to focus it, next came hitting targets. This part of the training Mr. Yamada was pushing hard on. Sometimes Nyx could launch her blasts and sometimes she couldn't. When she had learned to successfully launch them it was a matter of keeping them straight and hitting her target. This took many days but when she had finally mastered the technique she was quite happy and Mr. Yamada seemed pleased with her progress. The next technique that the bear would teach her was powering up. It was fairly simple and it could be used to increase or suppress her power. Nyx was sure it would be useful so she eagerly started on learning the skill.

It was fairly easier to learn this skill, it took her a couple of days to learn to do. After that it was just a matter of practicing the techniques more and more until she had them down near perfectly. Nyx did not mind how long it took and she was content to take her time with the techniques. Now it had been over four weeks since she had been at the academy and now she had some time off.

It was about lunch time and Nyx decided it was time to have a bit of fun. Going up to the roof of the academy, the cat easily concentrated in a second and flew off the roof. She could not go very fast since using ki was still fairly new to her but she went fast enough. It was fun to just fly over the city and see everything that was going on. There was plenty of hustle and bustle in the city, it was way different from the country and Nyx certainly enjoyed it. It was no wonder that her brothers seemed to enjoy it, they were going to college now since they were in their early twenties. She still had money that had been saved up but Nyx knew she'd have to get a job at some point if she wanted to buy things like food. After all, it was not like she could grow stuff out here like she could of back out in the country.

After a quick fly around she returned back to the academy so she could have a rest before more training.

There it goes again, the incoherent zoom of something flying about over head. It had to be another student just as all the other annoying little zooms always seemed to be. She was far too tired of having to deal time and time again with the constant drone of a warrior in training attempting to fly about. It was like a fly constantly hovering about her head, but this fly was far too high up to be swatted with a fly swatter so easily. Shaking her head slowly as a large clump of bright red hair fell across her bandaged face, she slowly rose to her feet and then began moving towards the nearest landing fly. She was going to give them a thorough taste of her mind, before possibly a taste of her metallic fist! Either way, she was sure something of interest was going to happen before days end, and this must have been it anyway. A slow swish of the red tail which hung out of the clothing at her back, and Sylra was on the move. Teal and red clothing shifting around her where it was loose, as she moved swiftly with the glint of metal shining off the lights that were around here, she was not one of those people to notice or even know the time of day, despite the fact she was moving underneath the sky just as everyone else was. Leaping forwards towards the female that had landed not to far away, she swings an almost desperate punch for the back of their head, while screaming something around the lines of; 'quite flying about you stupid fly!!'. Though her exact words were much more swear ridden, and much more screams and groans of annoyance, then carefully placed out words. Sylra would stomp one foot, and glare with her single black pupil shining with the light of anger, towards this particular female. It was not fair that they could so easily fly, while she was having trouble getting this thin looking, yet far over weighted body off the ground so easily as them. They were all going to pay for that, even though she had no right to be running around swinging punches at every flying person that crossed her pass, she did not care at all.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student

Having landed on the ground out behind the West City academy, Nyx was ready to rest up. A snack sounded good right about now and a drink of water. It was nice to just fly around and Nyx was wondering why she had not tried learning to fly sooner. Then she could of gotten to the city from the country much faster. Ah well, the important thing was that she knew how to fly now.

Just as her feet was on the ground her senses kicked in. It was not really just her ki senses, she still needed a bit more practice so that they were as sharp as her other senses. It was a weird sound, like someone running towards her but it sounded funny in a way. Her ears flicked at the sound got louder, signaling that whatever was making the sound was getting close to her. Looking over her shoulder, her eyes widened seeing a metal fist coming for her head.

"Holy!" quick reflexes saved her from getting knocked down. Nyx instantly dropped to a crouch before she jumped, sticking low to the ground as she put some distance between herself and the attacker. Still crouched down, her tail was puffed out as she looked at the red headed female before her. "What was that for? I was just flying around!" said Nyx, a little annoyed at the other but mostly confused as to what she did wrong.

"Exactly! Flying!" Sylra says practically growling her words as she stumbles forwards from that missed swing and actually falls, landing with a single hand slamming and then sinking into the ground from sheer weight. Frowning slightly, and continuing to look almost a tad bit comical, she shifts and begins to yank at her arm in order to pull it from the ground, before it was pulled free completely. With her arm coming free, she would then fall backwards landing right on her butt before staring angrily at the female before her. "All day I had to sit around listening to you and your friends' constant buzzing about above my head. You and all those other flying bastards!" Even with her harsh language, she did not appear to be put off for the insults she spewed. Rising to her feet, and quickly taking the time to dust herself off, she then stomps the ground once again, a petty sign of annoyance which would take the part of being almost child like. She simply could not stand being questioned about something that should be just completely obvious. Did this female before her, see HER flying about? No. Then the issue that Sylra was having should be obvious... Shouldn't it? In these thoughts, the rage that covered Sylra's very features seemed to fade away for a moment, as her one revealed blade eye stared almost blankly forwards as if she was looking directly through the person she had just attacked, and then instantly the anger would return again. Of course she was right, how could she be wrong? It was all their fault for being lighter, and learning to fly easier. Damn them, damn them all.Angrily she bends down and snatches a pebble from the ground, before swiveling and chucking it as hard as she could in Nyx's direction, of course with such anger and lack of accuracy, the pebble would skim by and bound harmlessly behind the female, causing even more anger and frustration to arise from Sylra.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student

It seemed the other did not like people flying about and the reason seemed to be a bit clear after the other fell down. Nyx noticed that this female in metal was fairly heavy. Was that the reason the other could not fly? Wait, that should not of made much difference if she had enough ki right? Her mentor Mr. Yamada was bound to be able to explain this to her when she found him and asked. "Uhhh... I haven't really made any friends here, so I can't speak for any other people flying around. Is it cause you're wearing all that metal that you can't fly? If that's it then why don't you take the metal off?"

It seemed a fairly simple solution to the humanoid cat but then again, maybe it was not as simple as it seemed. When the other threw the pebble, she could see it would not hit but that did not improve the red head's mood. Blinking, Nyx stood up and walked over to Sylra and held out a hand. "Anyway, I'm Nyx Solo, what's your name?" Why not try to be friends? It was not like the other had tried to kill her or anything yet.

Take the metal off? What did she mean exactly? How was she supposed to take the metal off? She was the metal, that made so little sense to Sylra, that she actually calmed down considerably. Was that really how she looked with the metal that did reveal itself on her body? It seemed either she needed to take a drastic change for appearance, or this female before her had never actually seen an android before. Either way, it left Sylra to be standing there puzzling over what they could possibly mean, and why they would think such a thing. By the time she had taken back into looking before her, this peculiar female was standing before her with a hand extended in means for a hand shake. The sheer oddity of someone offering to be friends, or even a hand shake after being cursed at, insulted and attacked, simply brought Sylra into a short bit of shock. After a moment, she shook herself out of this shock, and raised the correct hand in order to shake this female's hand back. After the hand shake, which was a bit rough and clearly unrehearsed, Sylra dropped her hand back to her side with an audible clang as metal fingers met the metal at her hip and thigh. "I'm.. Uh.. Sylra.." She says, a slight crimson shade creeping across what could be seen of her cheeks, as she comes to the immediate realization of how childish and stupid she was really being. Embarrassed now, she casually shuffles a foot across the ground, and figures the best thing she could do was answer the female's question from just a moment ago. "Well.. I really cant take the metal off, since the metal is a part of my body. I'm a cyborg really, so it would be kind of difficult were I to attempt taking off this metal, since the fleshy parts of my body would probably fall off and I'd just be a bloody pulp on the ground.. or something." Sylra says, shaking her head slowly at the sheer thought of her own body being left to nothing more then a lifeless pile of flesh and blood. This was certainly not the path she had expected this little event to go. After all, only seconds before she had been the most angry she had been in a long time, and now she was calm and probably even a little embarrassed? What a weird day it was turning out to be.
