More than his pride was hurt. He got a pretty nasty bruise on his tailbone. He inched over to the girl’s touch, “If you keep that up, I’m sure I’ll be more than ok.” He took a few minutes to think, sitting on the floor for all the people to stare and laugh at him. He ignored most of them, except Tre’s piercing laughter. “Yes, yes. The fall was very funny.” He kept his head down because his embarrassment was plain to see. Maybe it was time for him to get up and stop being an attraction at the arcade. “I think a soda would be nice.” He smiled with a slight laugh, “Maybe some ice too.” He offered his arm to her with a gesture in the direction of the food and drinks.

Ok, Tre might have felt a little bad that she laughed at the fall, but it was really really funny. Simon was so damn uncoordinated at this game. But at least he was ok, and able to stand. She slipped an arm around one of his and brushed past the crowd that was starting to dissipate.
"Are you having fun yet?" She asked softly. It might have been slightly teasing, but she didn't want this date to be a complete flop that he hated, and never wanted to see her again or something.

"If you must ask..." He bobbed his head knowingly as they walked through the mass of people returning to their games and chatter. "It's been fun ever since I saw you." He winked, thinking he sounded corny. He laughed to brush away the awkwardness he felt in that moment.
He maneuvered them over to the counter, leaning over to ask for a drink. "Is there anything else you want?" He already had in mind some sort of candy, ordering that soon after. "Anything? My treat?" He smiled, turning to her and minding his sore bottom.
