From the outside, the house looked small, cute, quaint. From the outside, you'd never think that one human and more than twenty-five pets could fit in such a house. But, somehow, they all managed.
It helped that there were several spare bedrooms and an attic for the pets to hide in. Even so, sometimes it seemed way too small, so the human, known as The Plushi or Plushi, let her Dreams run around in the yard.
The house was situated a short way from the beach and had a beautiful garden in the backyard. There were enough plants for a long game of hide-and-seek, a space where they could all play tag, and a bunch of flat rocks to just lay in the sun. So, the Dreams spent most of their time out back in the gardens or at the shop.
The shop where Plushi had gotten all her pets, Castaway Dreams, was just a short walk across the beach and through a shallow part of the ocean. The shop rested on a small island and was a fun place for both owners and Dreams.
Therefore, depsite the small size of the house, the Dreams had plenty of room to spread out in and explore.

"All right, loves." Plushi called as she bounded downstairs to the living room where most of her Dreams waited. The younger ones had already headed outside to play. "I'm heading off to work now. You all know the rules. Be good, watch out for each other, stay close, be nice, etcetera. I'll be back around five or six. Stay out of trouble until then." she instructed. "Byes!" she called, rushing out the door.
Plushi worked a variety of jobs, most of them involving helping out her friends. As such, she was usually absent during the day, leaving her Dreams to fend for themselves. Not that they minded.

"All right." A Dream named Yue said after everyone had called their good-byes to their owner. "Everyone outside!" he instructed, herding them towards the back door. It wouldn't do for everyone to stay inside and run the risk of breaking something. Plushi had a habit of collecting sparkly nick-nacks that, while interesting, were also glass and easy to break. The last thing they needed was to get in trouble.

"Ada? What about... the new blonde Dream? I forgot his name. But he's still asleep in Plushi's room." Sunshine, Yue's son, wondered, looking up at his dad. He was frowning slightly. He didn't want the new Dream to feel left out or to miss out on some of their games.

Yue paused and looked back at the set of stairs. Technically, they lead to the attic, but that's where Plushi had set up her bedroom. Frowning thoughtfully, he turned back to the small, yellow Dream. "It's all right," he said with the gentle look he reserved for his son and his few friends. "We'll let him sleep and when he wakes up, he can come play with us."

"Don't worry, little Sunshine," Vincent spoke up. "I'm sure Seifer would want to sleep in. Your ada is right, he can join us when he wakes up. Now, what say we join the rest?" Vincent asked, tilting his head to the side and smiling at the young Dream. He did pause long enough to give Laguna a look. Laguna seemed to know this Dream and Vincent was determined to talk to him.

"Come on, Sunshine," Yue said, ushering his son outside while giving Vincent a look that said they would talk later. "Look, Terra and Kalani are waiting for you." he pointed out, following Sunshine out into the backyard garden. He smiled as the young Dream immediately ran off to play with the others. Yue settled own on a handy rock in the sun to watch his personal sun run around and have fun.

Vincent smiled, watching out the window as the younger Dreams all huddled together, plotting something. He sensed someone coming up behind him and turned around to face Laguna. "You know him." he said, quietly and pointedly. He wouldn't give Laguna a chance to deny it. Vincent could see it in his eyes as soon as Plushi had carried the blonde inside. Laguna seemed almost scared of the newest addition to their little 'family'...

"Yeah," Laguna sighed, sounding much older than he looked, "yeah. I know him. Kind of... He caused a lot of trouble back home..." Laguna was referring to wherever they had been before Lord Changeling-sama's shop. While they didn't know -where- that was exactly, sometimes they would get weird fragmented memories of a time before everything.

"...trouble? What kind of trouble?" Vincent wondered, turning back to the window in time to see the younger Dreams pounce on Camelot, who was resting in the sun. He smiled lightly as Camelot yelled and began chasing the little ones. "Is this someone we're going to have to watch? I know Plushi wouldn't -intentionally- bring someone dangerous home but..." Vincent hesitated to point out that their owner wasn't the smartest person in the world and she could be easily fooled by a pretty face.

"I don't know..." Laguna sighed, joining Vincent at the window. "I don't think he'll be dangerous... but... it couldn't hurt to keep an eye on him..." Laguna said with a smile. "Now, enough worrying about it. Let's join the others, shall we?" Laguna smiled again and led the way outside to help save the little ones from the fury of Camelot.

"All right. I trust you, Laguna, to handle him if he -does- turn out to be a threat." Vincent warned lightly as he wandered over to join Yue on his rock to watch the little ones.

"I can handle anything!" Laguna proclaimed proudly... before falling downt the stairs and off the back porch. "...except maybe stairs..." he said sheepishly. He jumped up, smiling. "I'm okay!" He assured the others, before staring a game of tag with the young Dreams.

The blonde Dream they had been previously discussing scowled as he stood at the living room entrance. He had been on the stairs when he had heard the two others talking about him. Unwilling to interupt them, he had heard everything.
Seifer frowned and wandered into the family room. It was a darker color than the living room and had a fire burning in the fireplace. He walked over to the emerald rug before said fireplace and lay down, staring into the flames. He sat like that, watching the ever-moving flames, for a while, not realizing just how much time was passing.

Ayo peeked into the family room. He frowned when he saw Seifer laying there alone. Ayo rather liked Seifer. They both slept in Plushi's room, on the top bunk of her bunk beds. "Big bruver?" he said softly, walking around to look at Seifer. "Is somethin' wrong?"
