((short post to move us out of the thread))

Sorain nodded as he watched the two brothers manage to keep up with him, maybe there was some hope for them but Sorain still was yet to be convinced. It was his job to see to it that they got left somewhere in which they would no longer be a threat to him, his first instrinct told him to simply kill them both now and safe himself the trouble but he knew better. If word got out that he had actually killed a Shinobi of Kirigakure he would be targeted even more. The bounty would be raised, and before long the price on his head would be so high that he would never be able to seek out his plains without running into trouble at every turn. He had to see to it that what ever happened to them they were at least still breathing. "Come on, were here." He said motioning for them to follow him into the Earth Country.

Not being familiar with the Earth Country at all, Isuko stopped in the village to ask for directions to the area that he had hear the rumors about. Several of the villagers refused to speak to him for more than a few moments, and he was getting nowhere with getting directions. ”They don’t trust me. I probably wouldn’t trust a blind shinobi either. Especially one who speaks with a Rain Country accent. Hmm… How do I get directions to the area I want to travel to? Hmm…” Isuko made a quick decision and headed for the most crowded part of the village which he assumed was a market area. He wandered the bazaar until he found a clothing vendor which is what he was searching for.
Isuko had noticed that he had been uncomfortable from the beating sun for the duration of his time in Earth Country, the people here seemed to wear different kinds of clothing from him, and he figured the modified styles of clothing helped the heat. Isuko approached the vendor.
”Excuse me. I’m sorry to bother you, but I could use some help choosing appropriate clothing for my journey. As you can see, I came unprepared for the weather here. Could you suggest some proper attire and perhaps give me some directions?” Isuko flashed the small amount of Earth Country currency that he had to the man and the man became very helpful. He vendor sold Isuko some proper clothes for the blasting sun and gave Isuko directions to the village he was searching for. Isuko tipped the man very well and started off.

Now that Sorain was no longer worrying about keeping his genjutsu constantly layering over Takera and Yua, he was free to proceed at a much faster pace with the ease of mind knowing that they should be more than capable of keeping up with him. As he launched himself from cliff peak to cliff peak, never once breaking a stride, Sorain entire body began to blur across the jagged path that was the cliffs of each peak. It was an effortless action, to spend a life time in darkness only served to make the world your playground. He knew nothing of fatal falls, knew nothing of fear, to him this was as easy as walking down a hand carved path. Turning his attention to over his shoulder, Sorain listed out to ensure that his group was still following close enough behind him. He did not want them to follow directly on his a**, it would be a terrible formation to do so. Currently they were traveling in an A Triangle Formation. Sorain was taking the lead, and leaving Takera and Zero to hang back and run adjacent to each other, forming an acute triangle. This was formation was developed to avoid being folloped.

Takera watched as Sorain took off jumping from the rocky edges. He watched Sorain's footing using his Sharingan and began to mimic him completely leaping from edge to edge. He was close enough not to break formation, but not so close that it could cause problems. As they made their way through the rocky area that followed their departure of the Village Hidden in the Rocks, they finally reached a clearing of flat dusty earth and slight plant-life. Takera landed behind Sorain at a degree to his left. As they moved forward the ground split in areas forcing them to have to jump from cliff edge to cliff edge until finally the clouds were in the distance. Takera yawned as came upon one last stretch of land that dipped down towards the cloudy area in the distance. They were making good time. He could see the rain clouds gathered in the distance. He wasn't fond of the rain, but he occassionaly enjoyed rainy days. "What's the deal with the Legendary Swords, Sorain?" Takera questioned as they got closer to the rain clouds. The ground became softer the closer they got as the conditions of the land crossed from dry to moist. A slight breeze passed Takera by and the smell of the rain was present.

Drake was running along the main road, and looked up into the sky. He saw rain clouds in the distance, and knew that he was approaching the border of Rain and Earth. He remembered when he first came here only a few days ago, when he climbed a small cliff to get pass the border. He later realised how much of a fool he was. He could have used the Chakra-Walk technique to simply run up the side of the cliff, but then again, he needed the experience. As Drake ran, he saw a fimiliar boulder, and saw that he was close to the cliff that seperated Rain and Earth. Drake ran up the side of the boulder, then jumped to the top, landing near the edge of the cliff. Drake looked around him, and saw the gourge. Drake smiled, then backed up a few feet, then went into a full sprint, jumping once he neared the edge. Drake flew through the air for a moment, then landed on a large tree branch. He settled himself for a moment, then began jumping from branch to branch, hoping that he could get a good enough distance before the rain started to fall.

Zeru watched as Sorain and his brother leaped with great force over the mountain tops and continued their journey through the land. Zeru smirked he had his own way of getting around he bent his legs and then let the energy build feeling the earth even beneath his boots. He could feel everything as he pushed off and flew through the air straight towards the mountain as he got close he quickly began to form hand seals and the dived into the rock head first flowing through it like water, he continued to constantly form hand seals as he moved through his bubble of muck manipulation which combined with his levitation propelling him let him move through the rock at a much quicker pace, he popped out on the other side with a smirk looking up to see his brother talking to Sorain. Zeru tried to keep behind Sorain and to his side he knew what formation Sorain wanted them to stay in, Zeru had studied tactics before and had made sure to retain the information. Since he was never as physically strong as his brother he had always tried to train his brain and chakra, so as to be still just as powerful in battle as his brother’s fists and feet of fury where.

Zeru lande3d and stopped forming hand seals for a moment as to let the other’s get ahead a bit since Zeru could move faster he would let them gain a little ground and then fire himself forward straight through the mountain again, he could see the rain clouds in the distance, he had heard of Rain country even before coming on this journey, but he never really thought about it. Who would live in a country where it was constantly miserable, but then again it would be a great tactical advantage if ever invaded the country itself was small, but if someone tried to attack the countries local ninja would be experts at fighting in it’s horrible weather. Zeru smirked at the thought and he decided he would want to come back here one day and study that fighting style.

Zeru leaped again continuing his strange but effective style of travel, he enjoyed their time in earth country even if he had been mocked by the locals simply getting in touch with his tough side and getting to see the city made entirely of earth, and seeing the country where all ninja had the same affinity as him it inspired him to make himself a better Earth ninja it was after all a powerful element with many versatile uses, only a fool would think that the earth was a defensive or simply offensive tool there was so much more Zeru smirked at the thoughts of the techniques he head seen just by simply moving through a construction zone and fighting the few earth shinobi. He was going to create a new style of fighting using his earth element, one that would make him remembered, since he was now a missing ninja, he figured he could do whatever he liked so he would travel around and learn as much as he could from this world and all the interesting things in it. Zeru looked up they where getting close to the border he noticed Takera still speaking to Sorain so Zeru decided to jump early this time and halfway through the final mountain face before the rain country boarder he angled himself up and popped out of the top of the mountain to scout the border itself making sure that there where no guards. Zeru smirked as he looked back nodding at the other two he knew they could see him with their Sharringan active. Zeru actually liked the traveling even if Sorain was a slave driver with how he moved for now Zeru had the advantage, but as soon as they got close to lighting country Zeru would have to rely on a different form of transportation to get around since his natural power’s would be suppressed and Snow was going to be slow going for him as well, where as Sorain would excel out in that frozen wasteland. Zeru shuddered thinking back to that battle and how so many Shinobi whom he had come to like had given their lives so quickly. Zeru wondered why he and his brother had been sparred but he decided not to voice this question as they where lucky to still count themselves among the living, maybe Sorain had some kind of future plan for the twins. Zeru looked back at Rain country as he waited for the other two.

Drake jumped from branch to branch, and tree to tree, as he moved farther and farther away from the border of Rain and Earth. As he traveled along his way, he wondered how he was going to get to the Mist. He was going to have to go to the Fire country, but Drake knew that he was going to be unable to go back to the Leaf Village. Drake continued forward jumping, then the wind picked up a bit. Drake looked into the sky, and saw that black clouds were forming above him, though no rain or lightning had started up. Drake jumped down after the next jump, landing on the now cool ground. Drake stood, and gained his breath for a moment, then returned to moving forward, this time running under the trees. Drake moved past bushes and low branches, always moving forward. The wind from the coming storm hadn't kick up yet, so Drake decided that he was gonna keep going, even if it started to rain. After the old man back in the Earth Village told him that other ninja from the other countrys had come also seeking information about the Seven, Drake knew that he was gonna have to step it up abit. After a little while, Drake felt himself slowing down, but kept going. Being tired for a little while isn't gonna help him find the swords. While Drake ran, he remembered that he still didn't know what he wanted, to just find one of the swords, or to just gain more power? Certainly that just one of the swords would help him, but he knew that he was going to need more than just a powerful sword to help him. Plus, he was more of a long-distance ninja then an up close and personal one. The only blades that would fit his technique would either be the Thunder Blades or the Longsword. Even if he were to gain one of these weapons, what then? He was going to need more power. After that thought crossed Drakes mind, he heard Harbinger speak to him, in a low whisper that felt like it came from a far off place. 'You think like one who has lost everything, yet have not even tried to gain anything back. You walk with a weight crashing down upon you, but do not try to remove the burden. And now you speak of needing more power. Your past does not convince me of this.' Even before Harbinger told him this, Drake was thinking the exact same. It was as if Harbinger was just reminding him of past failures. 'If you want more power, you will have to change yourself.' 'How? How can I change myself and gain more power?' Drake asked Harbinger. 'First,' he said, 'Awnser your question. Then we will speak of power'. And with that, Harbinger fell silent once again. Drake knew that he needed to awnser this question, but he also knew that he wouldn't know the awnser straight away. Drake shook his head. This wasn't the best time to even go soul-searching, let alone find himself by awnsering that question. For now, Drake just kept running toward the Rain and Fire border.

After Drake ran for awhile, the storm finnaly started up. It began to pour with rain, and there would be occasional flashes in the distance, illuminating the forest that Drake was in. Drake still couldn't get the question out of his head. Everytime he tried, he felt it come back at him, like it was stuck in front of his brain, never moving and never going away. Drake had a feeling that Harbinger was doing this, though he had no idea how. While Drake ran through the storm, he took a few momen to think about Harbinger. Through most of his life, he had never even heard of Harbinger, let alone speak to him in his head. He also assumed that Harbinger was the one in his dream, the one who appeared before him, a vast darkness with a shining black eye in the middle of it all. A shot of pain went through Drakes head as he recalled the memory of finding his mother, dead on the ground. Again, he couldn't even remember that night. and again, Drake had a feeling that this was also Harbingers doing, though he had no idea why Harbinger would block these memorys. He was going to have to speak about this to Harbinger when the next time he had a chance to meditate and speak to him again. For now, Drake concentrated on getting through this storm without catching a cold. Drake then sneezed. 'Oh crap.' he thought, 'Knew this was going to happen'.

------------------------

The rain let up a bit, allowing Drake to take a small break. As Drake stopped, he looked around a bit. He had expected to see others along the path to the border, but he saw no one. Drake then noticed something in the dirt. It was an imprint of a shoe. Drake knelt down to examine it more. He couldn't see any of the imprints from the soles, but that was to be expected after the rain had passed, though he was surprsied the imprint survived. Drake walked forward, careful to look for more footprints. He walked a few feet, and saw another, then a set next to them. As he walked along, he saw one or two more every few moments. He stopped, then counted the number of footprints he had seen. From the diffirent sizes, there were several people, all heading toward the Rain and Fire border. Drake couldn't tell exactly how many people there were, there was too many to tell, and the rain didn't help much by destroying any evidence to tell him the information that he could use. Drake thought for a moment, trying to remember if there was someone he could have met or seen that could explain this. The only person that came to thought was the Sharingan-user that he had met in the ramen shop, but he wasn't sure. After a few more moments of studying the footprints, Drake took a breath then began running toward the border. He couldn't tell how old there were either, but he was sure they were close.

It was a long, long motion that lasted what seemed to be a lifetime but it was completely necessary. Without it, and it's constant reapplication the young man would have long fallen asleep in his anxious journey to the Earth Country, and there was just no way he was willing to let that happen... Not after all he had been through to get there.

Sai yawned heavily, his gloved hands roughly rubbing his face in long, exaggerated circles in hopes to rub out the fatigue and weariness while some how returning the long lost energy that had escaped him for so long. But it was all for vain as he laid back in the back of a wagon, his legs crossed over themselves as his arms crossed over his chest in defeat of his face's nonacceptance of his attempts. If there was at least one thing he was happy for was to be finally gone from his team from Water Country... it had felt like centuries since he could shed his disguise and allow his features to blossom back to the surface. With bright blue eyes, he surveyed himself in a makeshift ice mirror, a grin spreading across his lips at his own reflection.

The young man was far from narcissistic, but there was something to relish about from being able to look into the mirror and seeing yourself after many a time seeing the face of a man that you knew to be dead, and also knew to be little more then scum when alive. So as his eyes took in the sight of his long, spiky white blond hair... the thin, sharp features of his face... the unique swirl of violet and blue that tinged his bright irises... and appreciated the warmth and fashion of his personal gear, Sai couldn't bother but be satisfied with what he saw and yearn to continue looking. It was the fact that in all the time since he had last seen himself, it was also the last time he had seen his brother, Sorain...

It was sad, but ever since the battle in Frost Country between the Mist Forces and their personal squad, Sin, Sai had not once allowed his thoughts to linger on Sorain. As much as he wanted to admit that it was due to wanting to keep his thoughts as pure to the guise he wore, he knew better... it was the pain of his brother's memory that caused him to refuse to let his thoughts return to his brother and pushed them completely from his mind. But in the silence of the wagon he road, and the peacefulness that surrounded him on all sides from the nature that grew all around, he simply couldn't deny his thoughts anymore... He missed Sorain, he missed him terribly and so each time he stared at his reflection, some part of him, some sad, depressed part of Sai saw his twin grinning back at him reassuringly. Reassuring of his presence, of their reunion, of his continued life in the world...

Sai gulped down heavily at the thought that his brother might have died, whether by natural conditions or due to something else, anything was possible and even the slightest thought of it was causing his heart to tighten and gut to churn. Dropping his gaze from the mirror to his bent knees, Sai shook his head slightly... there was no way that Sorain would have died. He was too strong... too stubborn... too much like himself to be able to be conquered by another being, let alone any natural force that was not old age... No, his brother was definitely alive, that was something that was certain and he could put faith in.

Rather than allowing his mind to be bothersome and worry about such things, Sai needed his thoughts and focus to be squarely on getting to Earth Country and acquiring the information that he so needed to gain. It was only a short time until he would arrive in Earth Country and would be able to continue on his search for the Seven Mist Swords, legendary blades crafted in the Water Country and bestowed only on the special Mist Swordsmen.... A group of shinobi that were ranked higher then all others and had disbanded several years ago, before the last great shinobi war. Sai wasn't altogether concerned on acquiring all of the swords, let alone even find out information at all on all of the blades... No, what he wanted was a specific sword, a powerful sword... The executioner's blade, fabled to be impossible to damage in any shape or form. It was rumored that the blade was capable of sucking the iron minerals from the blood of those it slayed and through that it was capable of reforming itself.

Regardless of which was true, it was the weapon that Sai craved for. There was nothing about it that made it more uniquely dangerous from other swords, like the other six blades, but within it's vicious and capable steel work it carried a ringing call to Sai's heart. There was simply no way he would be able to give that sword up to anyone, it was what he wanted and he always got what he wanted... one way or another...

Yes, one way or another... Sai would get what he desired... But before that... A large yawn and sigh would mix together in an awkward combination and rack his entire body before he slumped down to the bottom of the wagon carelessly. He was just too tired to be bothered to contemplate the mist swords, let alone be capable of thinking up all the possibilities that would be tied around the weapon that he would need to acknowledge and discover the perfect reaction for, that was needed to known before Sai could even allow himself to create a plan. No, it was to much work to tackle at such a moment. Instead, Sai would simply have to settle with a yawn or a sigh as he road in the wagon on the peaceful evening, his mind scattered and randomly shifting from one thought to the next. There would be plenty of time to sit around and plan later, when he would be able to sit on steady ground, preferably in a cafe or restaurant of some sort... a plate of delicious, cooked food set before his eager and ready mouth.

A chuckle escaped Sai's lips and he slurped a bit of saliva back into his mouth... His thoughts were slowly shifting to food and it was making his stomach growl and his mouth drool slightly. When was it that he had last had a decent meal.... Warm and cooked thoroughly... the aroma strong with the smell of mouth watering flavor drifting from it perfectly... oh, how long had he gone without that luxury was beyond him, but it would just be another few hours in the infernal carriage before he would be able to sink his teeth into just about anything he so pleased to eat.

Saikoro let out a long winded yawn as his feet slowly padded the dirt road that he walked along. To his dismay there were no vehicles on service for him to take him back to the Rain Country and from what he had heard, there wouldn't be any for at least a weak due to a terrible storm that was raging about in the destined country. So opting to not wait the time, the man had taken off on foot to his next destination, and he was certainly not the only one. It had seemed that the information about the swords were growing more and more popular; shinobi, politicians, treasure hunters, and the likes were all scrambling about, making the dirt road anything but empty even without the carriages and the likes in tote.

It was an interesting time to say the least, fights and arguments breaking out as often as parties and groups forming, games and shows were set up every few yards amongst the road and the common folk were definitely reaping the profits of stationing various stands as well. All along the road the flow of information was freely exchanged as targeted sword was variant among the groups and the people there quickly took to sharing what small bits and pieces they had rather than hording it uselessly to themselves. Of course that didn't mean there wasn't lies and traps laced in and out of the stories, conniving plots and backstabbing ploys secretly formulated in the back of the minds of many of them.

A soft sigh pressed against Saikoro's lips as he simply weaved his way through the groups, uninterested in the gossip and rumors that they had to say at the moment. He knew that there could have been something to gain from stopping and listening but the risk of loss was to big to wager, and the information from Yuki was more then enough for him. Unlike what he had previously and currently heard of the swords, she was directed and specific in the details she had given him and he had no reason to doubt the truth value of what she had told him.

Notwen had watched the odd man hop from rooftop to rooftop, then finally jump down to ground level and make his way southeast out of the village. Judging by his trajectory, the dark-skinned blonde could guess that he was going towards Rain Country. Again, he was at a crossroads. Looking back and forth between the two horizons, Notwen scratched his head.
As far as i'm concerned, there isn't a route to travel between Rain and Lightning, only a short boat ride. So if i follow this guy, i can kill two birds with one stone. Besides, i'm pretty sure he's going after one of the Mist Swords, and he's traveling in the same general direction Garsem had told me before... After making the proper preparations for his tailing the stranger, Notwen began to walk the same path the stranger had taken minutes earlier. Slowing his gait to a leisurely pace, the three-eyed Uchiha allowed the stranger to get a huge lead on him.

At this point he was a few yards away from the village. Forming the Crown Seal, Notwen extended his awareness dome to its limit, which was now about a mile and a half. He detected the stranger's consciousness about a mile away, as well as several other psyches on the road between. At the rate it was moving, it would reach the edge of the awareness dome's sensory field in approximately ten minutes. Notwen began walking at half the stranger's speed to increase the gap between them. Once he had reached the limits of the dome, the dark-skinned blonde matched the stranger's hindered, yet fluid pace.

He was surprised at the amount of people that were out on the particular road. He had heard a traveling merchant mention a storm that was raging in Rain Country, but that didn't seem to stop the steady stream of people from several walks of life that were headed towards the rain-drenched country.
It seems that lore of the seven swords has expanded beyond the world of shinobi... thought Notwen as he dodged past people who were in his way. When no one was looking, he quickly snatched an apple from a merchant's cart and munched on it.

A soft sigh pushed pass Saikoro's lips as he continued to tread his way between the crowds of people that were walking along the path. It brought a smile to his face, it was quite uncommon to see so many people in such an area and in such high spirits despite the secret or maybe not so secret competition and race they were all in. It was definitely a strange time but nonetheless it was enjoyable for the young man as he took to walking closer to the stands, his bright blue eyes gazing from one to the next, feasting on all the trinkets and goodies that they had to offer. Particularly took to stopping at each food stand to buy a snack on a regular basis and each time there was a stand with jewelery or weapons he couldn't be bothered to do anything but crouch down by the glass window and appraise each good, making silent want lists in the back of his head even though he knew that he was likely never to return to buy them. All the same it left him with a soft joy in his heart, one that he had long forgotten after his parents had died and him and his brother were adopted.

A soft chuckle escaped him as he gave a questioning gaze to one of the stand owners. A moment before a man had been questioning about a particular jewel, that to Saikoro's trained eye was nothing more then a fake, and was given a history of a jewel that wasn't even what it was copied after. When the duo glanced over to the crouching Saikoro a stand away, a stick with goma dango curiously hanging from his, the man simply waved their glances away, stood up and walked up continuing to chuckle and only so softly humming, "It's a faaake~". It was only when he began to reach the borders of the Rain Country, the stands and crowds thinning out due to the heavy downpour that was coming down in the area causing only the most serious of travelers and stands of valuable objects to stay, that Saikoro actually stopped at a stand with eyes ablaze and money at hand.

At the pace that he was traveling at, it took Notwen about two hours to enter the rain-drenched cliffs. He cautiously peered over the edge of the road he was walking on and gulped when he couldn't see the bottom, even with his awareness dome extended to its maximum reach. Moving away from the edge of the mountain, he positioned himself on the other side of a cart that was pulled by oxen in the middle of the road to avoid falling over. The smell of the beasts of burden made Notwen's nose wrinkle.
This guy really needs to take better care of his animals! thought the dark-skinned blonde as he looked at the man sitting at the head of the wagon flaying his whip across the poor animals' backs. He noticed that the strange he'd been pursuing reached a point on the road where there were less people. Notwen spread his web of intrigue and connected himself with the two oxen. Wave after wave of intense hunger and pain washed over the three-eyed Uchiha through the mental link, causing him to stumble. Jitosaa!! He screamed mentally, causing the oxen to stop in their tracks. Before the outraged driver could do anything to hurt the animals further, Notwen jumped up to the cart and kicked him off so that he landed on the side of the road with the mountain wall. Then he swiftly hopped off and pinned the man to the ground by planting a foot on his chest.
"What's yer problem brat?!" cried the driver. Notwen did everything in his power to remain in control of his emotions.
"My problem? What's yours?! Don't you see how much your oxen are suffering?" he said, pointing at the beasts of burden. "I can see their ribs clearly! They're tired, yet you keep on driving them to go at a speed they can hardly keep constant!"
"And what's it to ya? They're my animals, so i can do whatever i want with em'." Notwen frowned upon the man's ignorance.
"There's a difference between harsh conditioning and abuse, and the case here is obviously abuse." The oxen were not going to last long under those conditions, and there was nothing the dark-skinned blonde could do in that situation. With a rueful sigh, he wrapped his consciousness probes around the oxen's minds and tightened the hold. The oxen brayed at the discomfort they were going through, but then grew quiet. What Notwen had just done was damage the oxen's brains to the point that their life spans were shortened drastically, and they would die in a few hours. Lifting his foot off of the man's chest, the dark-skinned blonde resumed his journey through the rain. He turned to look at the man take his position at the head of the wagon, then to the oxen whose lives he had just shortened, and apologized silently for his crime.

Kyu nodded, "I heard something similair from the good gentleman in the bathroom. I would have invited him to come along, however, that guy was feeling under the weather. Might have had a cold, y'know?" Kyu pulled his feet from the table, and grabbed one of the coins on the table. He twirled it around his fingers, and smiled coolly at Sango, "It's about time that we headed out, eh Hibiki?" Kyu got up from is seat, and pushed i the chair, "And... For the record, Sango.... Sorry for earlier," He scratched the back of his head sheepishly, then added, "Listen... If you're ever without a job... If things get rough... And you're ready to leave this dump behind... You're more than welcome to pay me a visit in Mist Village. Ask around for the Hoshigaki Estate, and when you get there, tell them Kyuzaku sent ya, alright sis?"

He flipped the coin in the air, right into Sango's hands, and began to walk away, "You should have enough for a cart the full way there. See ya around." Kyu broke eye contact with the speechless woman and motioned Hibiki and Kuro to come along. "Next stop is Earth, bros. That's where we'll start our quest."
