Asume looked down at the cat and rubbed his head. "well, it's not going to bother me. I have had a friend that was half man, half horse. He is long gone now. I have made a doll of him if you are interested in seeing it", he said sipping more on his tea. It didn't bother him, he saw more than his fair share of things in the world.

Aidan M'Ordant Kattalakis Aidan nuzzled the males head and gave a slight nod of it. 'I would love to see it.' He sat there looking to the male and watched as the male left to get the doll (guessing that would be what would happen) of his friend. When the male had left the room Aidan looked about to make sure no one could see through any windows. When he felt he was safe he stepped into the center of the room and allowed his body to slowly shift. Within a few minutes Aidan stood in the center of the room in his human form, allowing his ears and tail to stay so the male could tell it was the cat when he returned. And as he waited for the male to return Aidan looked about, feeling a little shy and awkward.

Asume looked through the mountain of dolls he had made over the years finally pulling out the centaur. He smiled happily as he went out, holding it tight to his chest. He looked around for the white fluff before stopping to stare at the man. He blinked a few times before his nose twitched, sniffing. "Kitty?" He asked waiting.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan nibbled on his lower lip as he heard the male walking towards him. He stood there, his body as still as possible, even his tail was no longer twitching. When the male walked into the room looking around as if to try and find him in his cat form Aidan waited to be spotted. He was a little shocked that the male didn't freak out at finding a male standing in his place, but with the male's question Aidan nodded his head. "Y-Yes, its the k-kitty..." Aidan stood there, his tail slowly relaxing to swish back and forth behind him as one ear perked up and the other remained flat. Aidan saw the doll in the male's arms and looked to it. "Is that the d-doll of your friend?" He asks with a tilt of his head.

Asume stood there a moment. It was funny to watch him just stand there motionless. Once he said something, Asume smiled. He brought the doll up and moved it's arms. "Yes, I am Allie Ta'lain", he said in a chipper voice as if talking for the horse. He held the doll in front of his face and make funny horse noises. He was trying to get a laugh or something. He handed the doll to him. "He was a great friend. I wish he was still alive."

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan looked to the male his tail twitching a little more behind him as he slowly started to relax a little more. As he watched the male he tried to hide a laugh at the males actions, not able to hide his smile. When the male held the doll out to him Aidan took it and held it in his arms while looking it over. "I'm sorry for your loss. It would be a shame to lose a friend." Aidan was still a little shy so he held himself back from hugging the male. As he stood there though he remembered that he hadn't introduced himself. He held out his hand and spoke softly. "My n-names A-Aidan. T-Thank you for allowing me into your home." ((Sorry it took so long, brain went blank for a little...))

"Losing friends is not bad. I keep them to memory and I always make new friends along the way", he said.Asume laughed as he grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug. "It is a pleasure to meet you! I am Asume Geie Dark." He let out a laugh before letting him go. He left him there a moment and grabbed his jacket. "then to the store, no? I'm sure you are terribly hungry!" He grabbed his keys and headed for the door.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan guessed that was true but he had never had many friends so he didn't know what it was like to lose them to death. He was about to say something when Asume pulled him into a hug. Aidan gasped slightly, a little awkward in the hug as he tried to figure out something to say his sputtered a little. When Asume let him go he looked to the ground, a blush staining his cheeks. When Aidan heard Asume's next words after her returned from getting his jacket Aidan looked up and nodded his head slightly as his stomach rumbled again making him blush more. "I am quite hungry, but you do not have to take me to the store. I would feel bad for having you pay for me when I can't pay you back." ((I'm going to go. Husband cooked steaks and tater tots for me cause we aren't having anything to do tonight cause we are house sitting on New Years Eve. Speaking of which Happy New Years.))

Asusme waved his hand, dismissing what he said. "No no no. When as old as I, you collect so much useless things", he said motioning him to follow. He headed down the hall and trotted down the stairs out into the fresh air, well, sorta fresh air. It had a smoky taste and smell to it which he hated but it was home while his brother was working here. He went down the street and told his new friend to stay close as not to get lost. He was still a good person but with so many crude people in the city, he kept to himself most of the time.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan was a little confused by Asume's words but chose not to ask questions. He slowly followed behind Asume, a blush on his cheeks as his tail wrapped tightly around his leg and his ears laid flat against his head. He tried hard not to walk around in this form because he always got questions from people. But he would try not to draw much attention to himself as she stayed close to Asume. "W-What are we going to be g-getting from the store?"

Asume smiled lightly as he looked back at his new friend. "Of course I have to stock back up on things. But I'm going to get that steak you wanted", he said as he wagged his finger at him. He kept on walking, briskly, his long legs carrying him far as he held onto Aidan's hand. He for the most part was happy and carefree as he kept on moving through the city. He finally stopped a whole food store with organic foods.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan followed behind Asume but just slightly seeing as Asume was holding onto his hand. As Asume smiled to him a light blush crept up his cheeks as he listened, at the mention of steak his stomach grumbled, he blushed more. "I-I'm sorry. I haven't been able to eat for a few days." A shiver ran down his spine as he thought of what had almost happened to him before he had escaped from the pound. When they stopped in front of a store he looked up to the sign and then looked inside through the windows. It was a large store full of people and as he saw all the people he became a little frightened, his ears laying flat on his head and his tail wrapping tightly around his leg. "I-I c-can't go in t-there. There are t-too many people and they s-see my ears and t-tail." He looked up to Asume with fear in his eyes as he trembled just slightly. (())

"May mother earth protect you" Asume hadn't realized his ears or tail until now. Well, that was foolish of him. He thought a moment as he took off his button down shirt and tied it around Aidan's waist. He thought a moment before pulling out the bandanna and wrapped it over his head and made sure it looked right. He could just say that they were fake or some new type of toy out on the market. He had to play this game for awhile now when the humans started to take over the world. "Just don't wag your tail too much but this should do it to cover up your ears and tail if only for now. I'll have to come up with a better idea once we get back. And don't worry, I'm here. It's easy to fool humans now a days", he said winking with a kind smile. He gentle took his hand back in his and took him back into the store. He was rather happy about being able to hang out with someone that wasn't human for once. sure, humans were nice, but he was use to elves, gnomes and fairies and such.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan stood still as Asume put his shirt and bandanna on him to cover his ears and tail. As he stood there with the shirt and bandanna covering him he could smell Asume's scent and with that scent running into his lungs he shivered and gave a slight nod of his head to Asume's words. "I don't think they will be moving much. When I go out I try and cover them but I had nothing to cover them with since I was taken in my cat for and put in the pound." When Asume took his hand once more leading him into the store and around it Aidan stayed as close as he could to Asume. As he walked through the store he tried to ignore the scents of everyone else as well as all the different foods inside the store. His nose wrinkled up while his ears and tail remained flattened and wrapped around his leg. (())

Asume lead him around, one basket in one hand as he picked out things and put them in the basket. He stopped at the meat counter, a bit unable to stand the smell of blood but he swallowed hard and asked for a big cut of the finest steak. "Oh! Asume. I thought I'd never see you back here of all things! Have you finally decided to come and eat meat?" Asume gave a small uneven small. "No...NO, it's for a friend. Him to be correct. I rather stay with my greens." The man stared for a moment before laughing loud putting the meat in the bag. "It's fine. So long as you finally come back here. Maybe your little friend can get you to eat some as well." Asume chuckled lightly before taking the bag and putting it in the shopping cart.
