"..Oh." Demy ignored both the comments about being flawed -and- the hair tousle in favor of oh man that counter is filled with cookie stuff. It was enough to pull the boy right out of cabinet searching and straight over to the counter.
"But Cordy! That sounds -delicious-! What if it was a batch of MOSTLY chocolate chip cookies, with a biiiit of dough in there to hold the chips together? That'd be tasty! I'd eat them!"

"What about normal chocolate chip cookies with a bit of chocolate chunks tossed in to make it seem like there's more chocolate... And we can put some chocolate icing between a few of yours so you have a Sugar Coma Sandwich?" Her brow lofted as she glanced over him, obviously willing to do a little bit of negotiation if it meant actually getting this cookie making on the road already.

Demy paused, staring in silence as he pondered through this. Normal chocolate chip cookies...but with extra chocolate and a promise of a chocolate icing delicious sandwich. Hrm..
Hrmmm.
Hrm.
Thankfully he stopped before smoke could come pouring out of his ears.
"Okay! As long as a sugar coma sandwich is part of the deal than I can go for that! But you have to PROMISE I can make a delicious cookie sandwich okay?"

"Promise." She grinned, rolling up her sleeves and putting on her best 'let's do this' face. For all of the things that had changed, and all of the changes that she knew were still to come, Cordelia Carden was certainly glad that some things would always be the same...
