  When I tell you to trust me... Jack was sitting at the bar in the tavern. He could almost sense when Helando walked in. He didn't turn around, instead he watched through his mind's eye as the valkyrie as he went to sit in the back of the tavern. He finished his drink and slid off the chair. He made his way through the maze of tables and sat down at the table Helandro was sitting at. "It's been a while," he said casually. He'd met Helandro before. He knew about the wings that were currently hidden under his cloak. No one else would know about them, Helandro was good about hiding them until he needed to show them. It would be in your best interest to do so.

When I tell you to trust me... "It's getting there," he said. "I'm doing alright. What about you?" he asked. "I hope you're ready for this. It won't be easy," he said. The underworld beings were tough, but with the dragons to help, it should be easier. It would still be a hard fight. It would be in your best interest to do so.

When I tell you to trust me... Jack just shrugged. "You and me both," he said. He glanced sideways at the armed men. "Hardly trouble," he said. "Let's try to keep this clean, shall we?" he suggested. No point in making the tavern a pile of rubble. His hand rested on the hilt of his sword as he watched the men. It would be in your best interest to do so.

He said as he slowly put his hand on his bow, readying an arrow. When I tell you to trust me... The men seemed to react instantly to the attack. They started to force their way through the tables toward them. Jack's hand moved from the sword and pulled three throwing knives from his belt, hidden under his coat. He flung the knives at the men. Two of them sank into the armored necks of the men. The third one sank into the wall next behind one of them. "I'm losing my touch," he commented as he drew his sword. It would be in your best interest to do so.

 ✧Kyra--Idalia✧ "Don't belittle me, I DO have the skill to defend my land!" Kyra had just arrived at the castle marketplace. She had traveled far to get here. Before taking her possessions and getting settled, she decided to take a look around the market place. She left her items in the care of Koráki, she knew they would be safe with him. Despite what was happening, she was excited to see new places and things. Kyra got some looks directed at her. She thought nothing of it, people obviously have seen a kitsune before, yes? As she walked deeper into town she suddenly heard a ruckus. Her fox ears twitched from the noise as she looked at the direction it came from. A bar? Just a bar fight? No... it seemed more then that. She ran toward the bar and quickly looked at the situation. A horrible darkness crept into her heart when she looked at the men opposing those in the bar. Kyra cussed to herself, she had left her axe in with Koráki. However, she didn't go anywhere without her daggers. She quickly drew one and grabbed one of the men from the back, pulled him back, and stabbed him in the shoulder just before he swung at one of the men from the bar that were fighting them off. [[Y U NO TELL ME THIS STARTED? razz ]]

He quickly stole his sword and slashed him down the chest. He then dropped the sword and took his bow out again, firing arrows at the group. Each arrow scored a direct hit to his target's vital organs. "Your loosing your edge! You should train more, you slacker!" He joked as he killed another warrior at point black range. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I tell you to trust me... Jack smirked at Helandro's words. He seemed to vanish from his spot by the table and appeared behind one of the men. He shoved his sword through the man's back. The blade stuck out the front. The man stumbled and fell forward. Jack left the sword in him and drew the twin sword. "I haven't needed to really fight in a long time. Not exactly my fault. Even still, I'll still be much better with a sword than you will," he teased. He twisted out of the way as one of the men behind him tried to hit him from behind. He grabbed the weapon the man was holding and yanked it out of his hand, then bashed his head in with it. "You should learn to fight with this before taking me on," he said to the dead man, dropping the hammer-like weapon on him. It would be in your best interest to do so. {{OOC: I was getting there. "Well, that takes care of that... Who do you think sent them? If it was the underworld, they would be ash now. Unless they've evolved... What do you think?" When I tell you to trust me... Jack slid the sword back into it's sheathe, then grabbed the hilt of the other sword and yanked it out of the man. He pulled a piece of cloth out of his pocket and started to wipe the blood off it. "Couldn't say. We probably should have left one of them alive to ask," he said. He looked at the blood on his sword and held it up in front of him. He licked the blood off the sword, testing it. "Underworld. No doubt. There's no way that this world's blood could taste that dark," he said. He went back to cleaning the blood off with the cloth. He glanced at the kitsune that had joined the fight. "Nice skills," he said casually. It would be in your best interest to do so. {{OOC:}}

When I tell you to trust me... Jack thought about it. "Or the highest ranking ones, at the very least. Either way, we have to be more careful," he said. By now, most of the tavern had left. The ones that were left were giving Jack and Helandro a scared look. Jack ignored them. "We need to dispose of these bodies," he said. He could have just lit them on fire and turned them to ash, but he didn't want to risk the rest of the tavern catching fire. It would be in your best interest to do so. {{OOC:}}
