Got mine a few days ago, one for each of the 4th gen Pokemon games I have.
Once in a while I'll watch an episode of the newer Pokemon, but only when I remember it's on.

team rocket spent years trying to capture one sucky pikachu, and know he's just giving them away, they(team rocket) must be really hurtin right now

I missed this event but i heard there is nothing special about it though :/ you could actually breed one with the some moves
