“Hopefully, with the set done the play will go much more smoothly!” Watching Gently stretch her back, Hayden idly reached up to brush back her bandana as she rolled her neck. She smiled a toothy grin. “I’m sure you would have managed somehow. People have a way with doing the seemingly impossible.”
Walking backwards, she slowly ambled towards the front doors. “Nonetheless, I’m glad you find my company enjoyable.” She turned around, striding down the aisle. “I would love to read your blog, though. It sounds like an intriguing read.” Hayden reached out to push open the dual doors. Smiling, she looked back and waved at Gently. “No problem! I’ll just chill for a bit at my dorm, but I’ll definitely be back for the performance.”
Hayden reluctantly stepped out into the cold, searching for her bike and shuddering when she sat on the icy seat. Ignoring the uncomfortably low temperatures, she waddled her bike to the street and hurriedly pedaled back to her school.

Gently laughed, nodding her head in agreement.
"That might be true, that bit about doing the impossible, but I think this looks a lot better than anything I could have slapped together on my own." She beamed, still riding high on the simple thrill of accomplishing a goal. Even one as mundane, as some people might think, as this one. But that was the thing, as far as Gently knew. There was a saying, after all, about the small things in life.
"See you again!" she called, waving jovially as Hayden headed out. Gently smiled fondly, nodding her head. A very interesting conversation, and a good day so far. Hopefully that meant the performance would go well. Even though she wasn't actually attached to the production, she still wanted to see it succeed. For now, however, she opted to take a break, retreating under the stage to the dressing rooms and green room to rest on what had to be the world's most comfortable sofa.
At least until the show folks arrived.
