The cheetah's ears perked forward again. Did she hear him correctly? She had just been mulling over the thought of having a traveling companion. What she actually thinking aloud, or did this lion have powers? Or.. did he really not like being on his own? Nothing too wrong with that, it gets pretty lonesome out on ones own.
" I wouldn't mind if you wanted to travel with me, Fau. "

Fau gave a bright smile. Maybe she would help him find his way - she was nice, and he was lonely. "Thank you, thank you so much," he said happily. "I... I don't like being alone," he admitted.
"It's so easy to get lost," he murmured. He hoped she understood that he was lost in existance and not lost so physically.

Mani didn't always get lost with her feet. Sometimes she got lost in other ways, especially when she was first out on her own. That was a hard time, as Mani hadn't ever really been away from her parents before. They usually did everything with her, so.. she hadn't really been used to it. The cheetah knew what adults did in life but, that doesn't exactly ever help with where you want to go in life.

Fau gave another small yawn, body sagging a bit. "Would you be willing to rest a bit. I... I hadn't realized how tired my body was," he frowned - she had been trying to remain awake. He felt terribly rude just barging in on her and asking to travel with her before asking her to rest - all while she was traveling along and attempting to remain awake.
"I'm sorry if I'm being a bother..." he murmured the apology.

Mani's head found a coumfy tree root to rest upon, the lion's words seeming abit slurred to her tired brain. She didn't mind the company, nor the apology. The cheetah found it rather endearing that the male seemed to apologize so much. It was kind of cute. Though, if she were the worng type, it would be easy to see how someone else might find it annoying. But, luckily for Fau, Mani wasn't like that. She let how a long yawn, and muttered back. " It's ..alllright. " Those words, were the last thing Mani remembered, before slipping off into a blissful sleep.
