All at once, Sola hears a scream. A human's scream by the sound of it. She narrows her eyes in the direction it came from. "I wonder who could be making such a racket in the middle of the day.." That's when she notices the approaching rain clouds and sighs. The other vampires would be taking advantage of the lack of sunlight. Without a moment's hesitation, she runs in the direction of the scream and it doesn't take her very long to find that vampires and a very familiar looking human. Rather than call out to catch their attention, as she notices one is about to bite into his victim's neck, she lunges at that one first. He struggles but, being caught off guard, is tossed mercilessly to the side. To make it seem as though she is wanting this human to take as her own, she stands in front of him and glares at the others. "My prey." She says in a dark and convincing tone. No vampire would dare mess with a hungry daywalker and they all take off in fear. Only when she is sure they are gone does Sola step away and turn around. She smiles kindly. "Hello."

It was literally all a blur, at the end of the motions and sounds he looked up to a very familiar face, hadn't changed at all since the last time he saw her. But things had changed for him, he was now an orphan. Forced to live about and find his own home he was in tense unwillingly abandoned by his family as they all died from merciless vampires, but a familiar face made him feel at home.
"S,Sola?" He asked surprised and stiffest, he almost forgot her name. But he managed to say is without being too disturbed by his memory.
"Thank you," He smiled and continued. "You're alive, I'm glad to see you again." He shifted his feet and stood up beside Sola, now he grew and was taller than her. He had so many questions he didn't know where to start.

She smiles upon hearing him speak her name.
"Its been a long time, Desmond." She says, as though speaking to an old friend. Thanks to the color of her skin, the humans are easily fooled and think of her as one of their own. Only the vampires can tell the difference.
"I can see you are alive as well, and it is great to see you again." She says, still smiling. The sun will probably be passing soon, meaning the other vampires will be forced back into hiding. But not Sola. A daywalker has the privilege of being out in the sun. She reaches her hand out to him.
"I don't think we had the chance to formally introduce ourselves."

"We didn't..." Desmond's voice trailed off slightly and he held her hand, he was finally 'safe' while with someone. A feeling he never felt before, a great feeling. Desmond smiled and gave her a hug, though it was just for the mood his scarf tangled and his scar of her fangs showed, he put the scarf back on as if not to let her see it if she got thirsty again. He liked his sense of coordination.
"Thank you so much for that, where have you been for the past year?" He asked quietly and settled himself back to sanding beside her. The sun was back up and the rain disappeared but the beauty of the rainbow inspired a moment for him, he looked at her eyes and saw no red in them, he was lucky and safer than he ever was for now at least.
"Why didn't you kill me on that day? I would have supplied you with enough blood for god knows when." He asked, not sure why but it was important to him to know.

"I've been hiding out, finding abandoned places to stay in for less than a few days before moving on." She says in answer to his first question, a little surprised that he was bold enough to hug her.
"I did not kill you because you did not kill me. I had only needed enough blood to keep me going for just a little while longer." She replies to his second question, now hugging him in turn. She feels a strange urge to bite him again, just for fun, but finds it rather easy to suppress it. She steps back and turns her head toward the sky, the clouds now moving away and revealing more sunlight. She smiles and watches them go, not noticing that she is soon standing in full sunlight.

"Watch out the clouds are parting!" He shouted then looked at her skin, untouched by the sun... What the hell? Perhaps she was more than he thought. More than a vampire, one of the few remaining vampires that could walk about at day. "You're different than the others..." He said stunned, he looked at his arm when he fell. Blood trickled down it slowly but surely in the full view of his vampire friend. He looked at it and cursed at himself. He winced at her and tried wiping the blood off, then he was too late, his arm was about three inches from her mouth. Great...
He decided it was a 'thank you for saving me' present. He remembered how helpless she was and couldn't believe she was the same person. But she was. Desmond smiled and let her take his arm.

Startled by his shouting, Sola snaps back to her senses to find him smiling and holding his bleeding arm to her. She gives him a questioning look before gently taking his arm and just barely biting at the wound to draw some more blood. She drinks only a little and then helps him dress the wound. "I'm what you would refer to as a Daywalker." She says with a smile. She licks any stray blood from her lips, taking note for the first time the sweetness of his blood.

Desmond moved his arm around making sure he had full mobility and joint movement. He nodded at what Sola had said and grinned, he looked at the town obliviously and spotted an area they could use for shelter while they wait out the night later. Desmond wanted to help her now, but it seemed she was more help to him than vice versa. He kept an eye out for other vampires and focused mainly on Sola, was henbeginnig to fall in love with a vampire? That goes against everything he was taught as a child in the family of hunters. He got slightly closer to Sola than he intended but he managed to wipe some blood off of her face and held his hand out, he wasn't sure what he was doing but he felt like henshould and had no choice but to abide.
"When you feed, I feel like I accomplished something... It's strange..." He said with a grin, he wasn't even sure of the gibberish he said but he smiled anyways.

Sora chuckles but eyes his hand cautiously, not sure if she should take it or not. She'd never met a human who was happy to meet her twice, or would even say something so strange.
"You sure are a strange one, most humans would run from a vampire they'd recognize. Daywalker or not, we are still vampires.." A kind of sadness seems to flash into her eyes for a second.
"And sometimes we cannot control our own blood lust."

((Sorry I fell asleep sad ))
Desmond was pulled in two directions mentally. He smiled and kept his hand out. "And you strange for a vampire..." He grinned and glanced at his hand. An overpowering urge to hug her again and he in stead just smiled. Why had he chosen to love which his family disgraced? Perhaps he saw the hope and true emotions in her, she had some humane features no other had. She was special and he knew it.
( sorry this was short )

((lol so that's where you went off too xD its alright, and no need to apologize ^ . ^)) Sola cautiously takes his hand and smiles. She isn't entirely sure of what she is doing, as she does not interact with the humans for any reason other than to feed. This one is different, he doesn't seem to care that she is a vampire.

(( I fell asleep with it online too so I wasted so much battery... I'm charging it as I type lol. ))
Desmond felt her cold hand graze his skin as she held his hand, bloodless? Not exactly but her body was colder than any normal human. He only just realized but he admired her, perhaps she was more than just a 'Daywalker' as she showed either a large amount of gratitude or more humane emotions. Desmond kept her hand and lifted it to his face, he pecked it with a kiss and let go. Smiling he looked at her ____ eyes and he couldn't help but stare, they were beautiful and unlike the human eyes he saw everyday hers were like pools of ____ instead of a solid block. He was mesmerized but not out of it. "You have beautiful eyes." He said with a casual yet quiet tone. It was unlike what he normally spoke like but he was talking to her, she was different than anyone else he spoke to.
( What color eyes do you have? xD )

((lolz I do believe they are..either gold or a dark bronzeish color lol)) Sola blinks, a slight blush showing on her cheeks. "Thank you." She says, not sure how to react to being complimented. No one, not even other vampires, had complimented her before. She looks into his eyes, wondering why he is unlike the other vampire hunters. Unlike the other humans. She remembers reading in an old book once that it is a forbidden for so much affection to be shown between a vampire and a human. Now, as she watches him, she wonders why such a law had ever been written. She looks away momentarily and then glances back at him. "Its probably not safe for either of us to be out in the open.." She says.

(( Okay, well back to that... ))
Desmond looked around and didn't see anything, but there may be more vampires around. He nodded and wasn't sure where to go. Desmond was stumped and shrugged. "We could try heading to where you came from, I think that's the best option." Desmond grinned in a cheesy fashion and looked upon the old wooden houses, unlike his old place covered in rubber and leaves these older shacks were just decaying wood. He had a laugh lace across his lips but held it in. It was unknown even to him why he befriended her, but that fateful say brought him a new feeling. He fell for her, his heart was in the cold hands of a vampire, if she wanted him dead he would be. He was like a free snack as long as he wasn't killed he could supply blood and be happy about it. He shifted his gaze back to Sola and smiled.

Sola smiles. "If you are up for a long walk. I found a nice spot a little ways out of town, the vampire hunters haven't been around that area for a long time so I've risked staying for more than a few days." She says, looking into his eyes again. She doesn't know why, but she has an urge to be close to him. She steps toward him, her mind seeming to work on its own. Could it be that she has fallen for this human? She smiles and extends her hand for him to take it, not sure why she is doing so. "Shall we get going then?"
