It was obvious Nyx was going to be there for a while, and as much as she wasn't injured, her legs were sore and burning--She could only imagine how bad Mau must have felt--She looked around for a chair, but apparently the outpost had rooms made for people who didn't get visitors. Nyx shifted her weight from foot to foot as she put part of the cookie in Mau's mouth with a somewhat playful grimace.

Again, he was glad for the cookie. Sweet sugary goodness that made the whole world better. Or at least made it taste better. Her expression made him wonder what was up, but he couldn't ask with a mouth full of cookie. But when it was gone, he looked her over. "Do you want to sit?"

"What? N- Yes..." Nyx sighed and sat as gently as she could on the side of Mau's bed, being careful not to jostle him or crush any wires or accidentally hurt or kill him in any way. She grabbed up another cookie for herself. "I think my legs are sore from dancing..." Nyx started to clam up again, this time starting to blush. She had almost forgotten about the good time everyone had before the chaos started.

"You were pretty good. I didn't know you waltzed." He closed his eyes a moment. "Maybe we can dance again some time." Some time when there wouldn't be explosions. No falling chandeliers, no injured team mates. Just a dance.
As she sat beside him, he moved his hand as much as he could and gently pat hers, though he could only reach her with his finger tips, so it was more like he was rapping his fingers against the side of the her hand.

"I didn't know you tangoed." Nyx brightened up when Mau said he wanted to dance again. "Okay, but first you have to learn how to swim, and I have to get a new dress." She chuckled quietly, in a much better mood now than when she had first come into the room.
Nyx was a little surprised when he tapped her, but soon figured out that she wasn't sitting on anything important and moved her hand on top of his. "Mau..." Her expression softened and she looked almost fondly at injured man, "Are you tired?"

"I had to learn to dance when I was younger." He admitted. "Never know when it'll come in handy." He looked at her hand when she rested it on top of his. And maybe, just maybe the faintest of blushes crept over his cheeks as he smiled.
"Tired?" He had to think about it a moment. "Mmmnh, yeah, unfortunately. I just woke up too."

"They probably have you on some pain relievers, thats why." Nyx looked almost disappointed that he was indeed tired. "Alright... I'll leave and let you get some sleep, Mau." Nyx smiled and gave his hand the lightest of squeezes. "I'll leave the cookies... and visit tomorrow." She noticed two remotes on the tray next to the cookies and moved them down with her unoccupied hand, where Mau would actually be able to reach them.

He curled his fingers around hers a moment. "Thanks." He didn't really want her to leave. He'd be bored when she left. "If you... see any of the others, tell them hello for me." He smirked.

She didn't really want to leave, either, but she reasoned that he needed his rest. Besides, he'd most likely conk out shortly after she left; That was how hospitals worked. "Sleep well, Mau." Nyx smiled at him and stood up, exiting the room a quietly as she could.
