"It's not gonna help, they only obey my voice." Gathering all the breath she could at that time, Laura whistled. Kania skidded to a stop, her ears perked up. Her head turned to Laura, and she ran over to her. Laura was ready, and put her arms around Kania firmly. "Gotcha." she said, standing, the dog still in her arms; obviously, she was strong.

"Trained her well then?" Cael asked, admiring the dog. She was gorgeous. Secretly, kinda, he admired Laura too.

They started walking uphill. At the top, her cabin would be visable. "So....How long have you lived in Alaska?"
