Lena
Lena caught the Rubik’s cube and looked at it for a few minutes. It was brilliant! She taught, and she began to turn the sides, trying to match colours together. After a few minutes, she hadn’t even yet been able to complete one side and began feeling frustrated, her determination starting to lower. After a bit more twisting and turning, one side was now, finally, completely blue. About time.. She muttered to herself, starting to think it wasn’t as brilliant as she taught it was before. Lena continued on trying to solve the cube, frowning in concentration. More time went by and still only one side of the cube had been solved. Her determination now completely gone, feeling very flustrating, a bit angry at the cube, which she now hated, and thinking she would never be able to figure it out, Lena decided to quit trying to solve it. Some muggles could spend hours at a time trying to solve this? They really did have patience these muggles.. She then looked around and tossed the cube to the next student who wished to try to solve the cube. She wondered if any of the student would ever be able solve the Rubik's cube without magic..

Glancing at the classroom, Kai shook her head. She still couldn't believe she had wound up in muggle studies of all things...She was muggle born for crying out loud! Wasn't there a rule about those sorts of things? It could end up being interesting though, she mused, seeing what the magical world thought about the muggle one. And maybe she'd get to learn about the magical equivalent of muggle devices.
Sliding into a seat near the back, she glanced around. It seemed fairly ordered, though at the moment people seemed to be gathered around a Rubik's cube. That was one puzzle she'd never solve. Her parents had given her one this last Christmas. It had been conveniently forgotten when she had been packing. It was probably still gathering dust on her dresser at home.

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow sat and watched Lena try to solve the Rubik's cube and she didn't look very successful either. Lena then tossed it to the next student and Sparrow noticed a new student enter the classroom. She did not look familiar, but looked like a hufflepuff. Sparrow wanted to know if anybody could solve the Rubik's Cube without magic.((Kai you can ask Sing to switch your class if you wish don't know if you are just RPing that or if you really don't want to, but just thought I'd let you know hehe.))

Kiki walked in the room slowly, giving it a good look before walking in. Muggle Studies. She was thrilled to be placed in muggle studies. Perhaps, being a muggle raised by muggles, she could provide bits of information that the other wizards and witches didn't know. She looked at her classmates. They were holding a Rubik's cube, and trying to solve it without a spell. Kiki had only solved a Rubik's cube a few times and knew they were pretty difficult. Hoping she'd luck out this time and solve it, she said, "Excuse me, Professer. May I try next?"

After watching a good chunk of the class attempt the cursed cube, I sigh and contemplate taking the cube back. One last person (Kiki) requests the cube, however, and I smile to her, "Sure thing." I say as I turn to the current occupier of the cube, "Toss it to her when you're finished, please." I smile.
Before the cube dominates the class any further, I feel I need to ask a question of the class, "Class. Has anyone ever heard of the muggle game Polo?" I ask, scanning the class, "Anyone who wishes to attempt and explain it?"

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow raised her hand, "Well i have heard of water polo, is it anything like that Professor?" Sparrow had very little experience in the muggle world and was still trying to read about everything that goes on there. The only game she has heard about is water polo which was actually quite fascinating to her. She wondered if Polo was like that, but on land.
((Woot for playing ignorant of the muggle world!!))

A classmate tossed Kiki the cube. She smiled, hoping she'd solve it. That smile soon went away as she concentrated on the toy. Kiki twisted the cube in many directions. She got one side to be one color, and then two, and then three. Finally, she got to five. Only one more to go, Kiki, she thought. With a few more twists, she had solved the Rubik's cube. She raised her hand and said, "Um, Professor, I've solved the Rubik's cube. She smiled at her accomplishment. "Would you like me to mix it up again for another student to try?"

Lena
Lena watched as more students attempted to solve the rubik’s cube, but no one had been successful so far. A bit later during the lesson, a Ravenclaw student entered the classroom and was next to try to solve the cube. She had completed one, two and three sides. Lena wondered either she would be able to figure it out. She stared, astonished, as the Ravenclaw matched four, five and the sixth and final side. She had completely solved the rubik’s cube, without using any magic.

Ghaleon Elmerast, Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Ghaleon looked in disbelief having seen someone solve the rubix cube. Why the muggles ever made such a thing was lost on him. Right now however he was interested in what this 'Polo' thing was the Professor had mentioned. Muggles really came up with rather strange names for things.

Lena
Lena’s mind drifted away from the classroom as she tried to figure out what the muggle game ‘Polo’ was. What could that game be? She was absolutely clueless. Polo.. All Lena could think of was a shirt.. A polo shirt.. She looked around the class, wondering if there where any wizards that knew what the game ‘Polo’ was, or if there was any muggle-borns that knew.

Kai watched the other student solve the Rubik's cube. They made it look so easy while she had spent hours on the frustrating puzzle at home and never managed to get more than a side done. The professor's question knocked her from her thoughts. The other students mention of water polo stirred up the image of the sport. She shyly raised her hand. "Do you mean polo, like polo played on horseback professor?"

I've lived in a muggle family for six years Professor so you can't show me anything that I already don't know" With that amazing contact, he just sat at his desk and mindlessly wandered off.

Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year Eriena was happy to be in Muggle Studies. True, she had a Muggle mother and was pretty much raised in both a Muggle and a magical setting, so she wasn't going to learn anything new. That didn't mean she wasn't fascinated to learn about the Muggle world from a wizarding perspective, though. Also, it was a great way to wind down the rest of her day, which had been pretty darn stressful so far.
"Hi, Professor! Hope I'm not too late!" she said happily before taking a seat next to a Hufflepuff boy she recognized from one of her classes... Astronomy, maybe?
"Polo?" she echoed after the professor, "Isn't that just a game played by aristocratic British people and Ralph Lauren?" She grinned cheekily, but quickly added to avoid having points taken away: "I know it's a game that involves hitting a ball with mallets on horseback, but I don't really know the rules."
