 Classes has now STARTED !
YIPPEE !! We have now reached the minimum of 10 students confirming that they're following this class.
This means that all students who posts on and afterwards of January 5th will be considered LATE. So please be aware of that when you post. Don't forget that it's a new chapter; so if you've "grown up" and changed years please send me a PM.

How do see yourself when you graduate Hogwarts?
I wish to work for the Ministry, specifically the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Is there a particular branch that you will work into?
If possible, I'd train as an Auror, but if not, becoming part of the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol would be fine.
Which wizard or witch is your greatest inspiration?
Severus Snape
Is there a particular event that you love the most?
When Hogsmeade is founded by Hengist of Woodcroft

I feel that the History of Magic is very important in order to fully understand how the current Wizarding world functions.

How do see yourself when you graduate Hogwarts ?
An interesting thought. I hadn't thought that far ahead. I suspect I'll continue living with my mother and father.
Is there a particular branch that you will work into ?
I enjoy working with potions the most. I find magical theory much more intriguing than actual spell work.
Which wizard or witch is your greatest inspiration ?
I don't really have one... However, lately, I have begun reading about Albus Dumbledore, and he seems quite admirable.
Is there a particular event that you love the most ?
I wouldn't use such a strong word as 'love', but I liked reading a compilation of student's accounts of Fred and George Weasley's 'grand departure from Hogwarts'.
Which one greatly repulses you ?
The pureblood trials conducted by Dolored Umbridge in 1997.
How do you feel about ''History of Magic'' ?
It is my duty to learn as much about it as I can.

How do see yourself when you graduate Hogwarts ?
I haven't thought that far ahead, I'm only a first year after all. I'm still just getting used to the basics. Though I always love books so maybe something to do with them?
Is there a particular branch that you will work into ?
Um? Sort of the same thing.. but I don't know. Maybe a book store? Or the Hogwarts Library if I'm lucky? Who knows, I still have some years to go before I really need to decide.
Which wizard or witch is your greatest inspiration ?
Merlin, I mean geez even muggles have herd of him. I'd be interested in trying to discover what actually happened in Merlin's time, and compare it to muggle fabrication. Since there doesn't seem to be much really known, things tend to get lost in history unfortunately some times.
Is there a particular event that you love the most ?
1294, The Triwizard Tournament is established.
Which one greatly repulse you ?
The Second War, 24 June,1995 - 2 May,1998. It was brief as far as wars go, but you could see the changes in people. How fast the fear swept over everyone, it was a horrible thing to witness.
How do you feel about ''History of Magic'' ?
Knowledge is power, and there is a lot of knowledge to be had in history.

Perhaps Victor Krum, or Albus Dumbledore

The First ever Quidditch World Cup in 1473.... Flanders vs. Transylvania
Which one greatly repulse you ?
The Ministry of Magic allowing killing of giants and forcing them to hide in the mountains and die off.
How do you feel about ''History of Magic'' ?
I feel it is important to know about what has happened in the past so we can improve upon others' achievements and also learn from their mistakes and make sure we do not make the same mistakes.

With luck and skill a master duelist or a hit wizard.

I do have a fondness for Astronomy but I do well in D.A.D.A.

No.
Which one greatly repulses you ?
The creation of a statue placed in the Ministry of Magic. It had muggles holding up thrones, with "Magic is Might" engraved on it.

((Seems that this is going to take a while... I'll just start a little something before we reach that magic number))
Desiree didn't know exactly what to do. Her class hasn't started yet, it was too early. Walking in the hall of Hogwarts, she couldn't feel but be nostalgic. She'd been a student here from her fourth to seventh year, spending the first ones at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. It was definitely a great change, the atmosphere from her childhood school wasn't the same but she definitely felt better in Scotland. Weird.
She entered the classroom, her willow wand in hand. She was surprised to see that some students were already at their desk. They even filled the little questionnaire. She was surprised, she'd planned giving it today. Then she remembered that she gave some to students. The class wouldn't start right away, they were still missing a lot of young wizards and witches.
- Well then students. Welcome to a History of Magic. Professor Desiree Éternelle here. she waved her wand into the air, tracing pale light letters forming her name. We won't start right now, so you can chat amongst yourselves or ask me any questions. Even study for the bookworms.
She went to her desk mumbling while shifting through the completed assignments. She was mumbling; 5 points for her, for her, and him... They'd taken interest in her class. They were the first ones. That sure put her in a good mood.

Sparrow grinned at seeing the new History of Magic teacher she was very interested in the subject and had very little knowledge of it because of the disappearance of their last teacher. She was eager to get started with the lessons and wished the other students would hurry on in.

''- Aah... Coming back at me with my own questions ? Very well.'' She looked away from the assignments, putting them back on her desk. ''My favorite would be the foundation of Hogsmead over a thousand of years ago. Especially since it is rumored to have been created around the same time as Hogwarts. I really love spend time there, visiting the shops. I also have some friends who live there, although it has been a long time since I've seen them.'' she smiled away, thinking about how she loved to play around Hogsmead during Christmas vacation.
''As for the event I hate the most... Well it's just not right to share that with students. I'm a history teacher afterall; if I give you my opinion it'll ruin the atmosphere if we ever reach that subject !'' with that mysteriously said, she turned around to face the green chalkboard. Such muggling items, yet so useful. She stared at its blank surface before turning back to face the class. ''Well then, anything else ?''

**I'll have to repeat this to the other students later...** she thought. It was a good question, something that maybe you'd expect from a Ravenclaw student. She put her wand to her chin, tapping in full concentration. Yes, how far back was she actually planning to go ? There was so many things to talk about. It was history afterall ! ''- Well, as much as I want to go as far back as possible, it'll all depend really. It'd be hard to study how they did magic back at the cavemen ages. They must've had a lot power back then, wand making wasn't much developped although bones could've been used. How did humans discover magic ?'' she left that question hang in the air. ''- There's going to be classes for the ones who wants to prepare for their OWL's and NEWT's of course.'' she paced around the class, going as far back and coming back at the front.
''- Oh sorry, I'm not much of an answer giver. Well, tell me what did you cover with your previous teacher then. If there's a need to start all over, I'd love to get the heads up !''She wasn't just talking to her of course, the whole class could speak up their mind.

Sparrow thinks about what we learned already it was not very much but she could remember something. "We did learn something about how magic might be holding us back from progress....Honestly i can't really remember......"She says and trail off trying to remember

Heart scrunches her face. "I wasn't at Hogwarts until the class nearly dissolved into nothing...all I remember is the lesson of why Magic was chosen to kept hidden from Muggles...and uhh...another lessons was on a few people who created some aspects of Magic..." She pauses. "I don't quite remember much..."
