(I'ma shut up nowz ._.)
Alex shrugged. "She doesn't look that bad. I'd rather her hair wasn't pink, but I guess she's okay." he muttered.
"Did you get struck by lightning or something?" Pansy said loudly.
"No, actually." Tonks said coolly. "But I don't think spikes are very fashionable on me. I'm trying different hairstyles, to see what ones fit me."
May ignored everything around her, and continued writing poetry.

~~Edgar Johnson~~ "I sing to life and it‘s tragic beauty. To pain and to strife, and to all that dances through me…" "You obviously failed. Epilly."
Edgar kept his voice low so that only those in the immediate vicinity could hear him. He decided to test the new principal's resolve so he stuck his hand up.
"Ma'am, are you aware that Punk died in the eighties, and this is the 21st Century?"

"Yes, I am. Sir, were you aware that in twenty years, you're going to regret ever getting that tatoo on your arm?" Tonks replied, sitting on the edge of the desk. There were several giggles in the classroom. "You must be Edgar. Charles told me about you."

~~Edgar Johnson~~ "I sing to life and it‘s tragic beauty. To pain and to strife, and to all that dances through me…" "Ma'am, I regret nothing. This tattoo is for my grandfather who passed recently. He was a Ranger in Vietnam. He was my Hero. This tattoo is something I'll be proud of for the rest of my life.
He raised his left eyebrow.
"Oh? And what did Charles tell you about me?"

"I can understand that. But you'll regret permanently sticking it to your skin." Tonks smiled. "He told me that your an intelligant, kind young man who he expects will grow up to do great things. So far, I have to agree with him. He also told me that you and him were on first-name terms."

~~Edgar Johnson~~ "I sing to life and it‘s tragic beauty. To pain and to strife, and to all that dances through me…" "Not unless it gives me cancer. And it seems the old man told you right. Maybe he wasn't an old coot after all."
Though Edgar always called him old man, he had nothing for respect for him.
"So...Mrs. Yema...we gonna learn something now? I'm quite bored sitting here. Unless it's gonna be one of those chill days."
He gave her a wink, so she'd know he was only kidding around with her. His mama had raised him to be respectable to women and elders.

"Speaking of which, I gotta go see the other classes. See you all. Nice meeting you." she got up and left.
Mrs. Yema nodded. "Yes, we are."

~~Edgar Johnson~~ "I sing to life and it‘s tragic beauty. To pain and to strife, and to all that dances through me…" He leaned over to Alex again.
"I like her. She seems pretty cool. And able to dish it back out. This is going to be a fun year."
He pulled out a fresh notebook and a pen and leaned back in his chair, glancing around the room once more.

Alex nodded.
"Yes, so, let's begin...." And with that, Mrs. Yema proceeded with the lesson.

Edgar only half payed attention to the lesson. He'd been through it before and it bored him to no end. He stretched backwards, causing him too see the back of the classroom and that new girl, the one that'd turned Alex down. She seemed surprisingly attractive in a unique sort of way.

Mai looked up from her work, gazing at the clock. She sighed. The hands moved so slow. She resumed her poetry, not even paying a bit of attention to the teacher.

"So what do you think?"

(*sniff* It was beautiful! XD) ~~ ((Lol. Tis fine. I've been in Afghanistan for the past few days, so I missed this too. XD)) Edgar folded the paper up and slid it inot his pocket, glancing up yet again at the clock. He sighed, then tilted his chair back, the chair on two legs only, Edgar rocking it back and forth. Unfortunately, the chair squeaked. Loudly. Edgar didn't care. He hated being bored. Probably my ADD kicking in.He leaned back yet again, stretching again, his vertebrae popping, catching himself staring at the new girl. You know, maybe I'LL go talk to her. Maybe at least get her to be nicer to Alex. He's a good guy.
